Brilliant British speaking flash card reader in a lovely dinosaur shape so fantastic for dinosaur lovers like my little one. It comes in a nicely packaged professional looking box and within the box is:
    – the dinosaur flash card reader
    – USB charging cable
    – User manual
    – Two boxes of double sided flash cards (112 cards in total)

The flash cards themselves are just normal sized cards and have nice clear, colourful images and legible text. There are various categories including Colours, Animals, Vehicles, Food, Clothing etc so a large variety of words to learn which I am very happy about.

You turn the reader on using the power button and the device came already charged which was great. You insert the card into the slot and the reader says the word. There is a volume button as well as a ‘repeat’ button incase the child wants to hear the word again.

The card reader is rechargeable with the USB cable and so no batteries required to be purchased which is brilliant. The charged battery seems to last a long time for us as we have not yet needed to recharge after several days of use.

Overall brilliant British speaking dinosaur shaped flash card reader to make learning new words fun.

As soon as I saw this dinosaur talking flash card I knew I needed to get it for my 3 year old who’s a huge fan of dinosaurs. This talking flash card concept itself is not a new one for my son who’s used them before and its proven to be a valuable tool in sparking an interest in his learning and language development. This one covers a lot of the bases for early childhood education.

My son carries the card machine everywhere he goes which shows how popular and portable it is. His favourite card is the one featuring a dinosaur with realistic roar which my son mimics very well! This highlights the engaging element of the learning experience.

A notable improvement is the ease of inserting the cards into the machines compared to our previous one. Will give this one a big thumbs up and made the learning process smoother and more enjoyable. Highly recommend for any child’s early education development and would also make a great gift toy.

I got these Talking Flash Cards as a gift for my godson. He’s learning English and lives abroad, so I thought this might be a fun way to help him out. It’s actually quite good! There are loads of cards, about 224 words, covering all sorts from Animals to Shapes. The British pronunciation is a nice touch, making it easier for him to learn proper English.
The best part? It keeps him away from screens, which is always a plus. It’s simple to use too; just pop in the cards, no messing about with Wi-Fi or anything. It’s small and light, so he carries it around everywhere. Oh, and it’s rechargeable, which saves on batteries.
For 11.19 on Amazon, it’s not a bad deal, especially with free delivery and a 30-day return option. It’s more than just a toy – it’s a handy little learning tool for kids. Definitely worth considering if you’ve got a little one learning English!

5.0 out of 5 stars Quick way to learn your first english words

This is a great way to help your child learn how to associate words with images and of course learn them to help improve their language skills. Its fun, its bright and its really easy to use and if your child is having some problems with words, its a good way to help them get on the right track as you can spend extra time using this as a learning curve to help them get a good foot in the door.

All round, I’m really pleased that these are about now as when I was younger they weren’t so to have something that will not only help them with word skills associating language with images and being able to hear the word so they sound it correctly is a big thing. A great item and definitely something I’m pleased I picked up.

I got this for my friend’s son who has just turned two and he loves it. He does need supervising when using it to help insert the cards. These are clearly printed in bright colours that appeal to a toddler. There’s a lot of cards to choose from which keeps him occupied for hours. The sound is good quality and in English (not US). No batteries needed either as you charge it with a USB (lead supplied). The device feels quite sturdy, but the cards will bend. Overall I would recommend.

I bought these talking flash cards for my 2-year-old nephew, and he absolutely loves them. He’s always asking to play with them, and he’s learned so many new words and sounds because of them. The cards are very colorful and engaging, and the audio is clear and easy to understand. My nephew loves to hear the different dinosaur sounds, and he’s always trying to repeat them.

The cards also appear very durable. They’re made of thick cardboard, and they’ve stood up to a lot of wear and tear. I highly recommend these talking flash cards to any parent, uncle or aunt who is looking for a fun and educational toy for their little ones

My son loves this. He walks around the house repeating numbers and letters all day long, and as soon as he saw this he hasn’t really stopped using it.

It reads out numbers, letters and shapes and more, although my son is mainly interested in the numbers. It seems to hold a good amount of charge and runs for hours at a time on full.

My only real nit pick is that the cards can bend quite easily if not put into the device properly, and my son has unfortunately ruined quite a few so I would advise constant supervision if you want them to last longer.

As far as safety is concerned, there doesn’t seem to be any loose parts, and as for durability, my son has thrown it all over the place for days and it’s still working.

All in all a good value for money educational toy for young children.

Basically, the child, or parent for the very young, insert a card and the device speaks the name.
There are over 100 cards that are double sided and split into several different categories.
The built in voice has a good British accent, is very clear and sounds friendly, which should encourage children to use it.
The devise is rechargeable, so no batteries required, claimed batter life is 5 to 6 hours, so plenty for a days use.
I cannot comment on the durability of the device, but would recommend it as an excellent learning device for our young ones.
