I bought this as a cheap tablet for an extended hiking trip, rather than risk my iPad.
It’s kinda basic. There’s no fingerprint unlock or home button and the launcher eats the battery like a panda eats bamboo. It’s also slightly thicker and heavier than it needs to be for the specs, but still not too heavy and it feels sleek rather than clunky.
The speed is great, the battery robust (even with the launcher issue) and the screen is responsive. Rear camera is pretty good, front camera is passable and the mic pickup is decent. Camera is intuitive and easy to use.
Watching video is glorious, honestly I can’t fault the quality.
It’s easy to set up, it’s quick to charge and the SIM option is handy.
It’s not going to win any beauty contests but for basic use, like social media, games, maps, netflix, YouTube etc it’s really good. For the price its brilliant actually.
So far ,no complaints. Tablet working perfectly. Updated easily to latest android version. Does everything I need quickly and without fuss. Very clear video picture and excellent potential storage options. This is my second Teclast tablet. Very good value for money and very fast delivery.
I bought this tablet for my son who is 9.
The tablet is very easy to set up and use thanks to the Android OS.
It’s nice and light but feels very sturdy and well made.
The screen is nice and clear and very responsive making it ideal for viewing videos and playing games.
You get a large amount of storage that can be boosted via a micro SD card and the RAM can also be boosted via the help of virtual RAM under settings. All of this along with a fast processor make this tablet very fast and responsive.
The speakers are loud and clear making it great for watching movies and you also get a 3.5mm AUX port so you can plug your headphones in which my son loves to do.
The battery life and charge times are great and my son can use this for long periods without the need for a recharge.
Overall we are very happy with this tablet and for the following reasons we have decided to rate it 5 stars:

Whilst these are very good tablwts for the money. They seem to be not compatible with Google child accounts. If you try to use a child account the tablet gwts caught in a crash loop and then goes to the factory reaet screen. Use an adult account and everything works ok.
My first android tablet and it works fine. I wish it was android 13 but android 12 works well. Only niggle is it’s a tad heavy but it’s a good solid make.
Bought this tablet to develop Android Apps and it’s a lot better than the other ‘budget’ tablets I’ve used in the past.
The tablet is very comparable to a mobile phone – just with a much bigger screen. SIM card slot, 3.5mm audio jack for headphones, USB-C charging which ties in with most other devices that I have.
Supports the latest version of Android so you can download all of your apps.
For the price, this is one of the best tablets that I’ve bought.
I would never have replaced my previous tablet which was the same brand if it hadn’t have been dropped over and over again to the point that it would no longer work even with a replacement screen which was entirely our fault nothing to do with the build quality.
This one being an upgrade means that I get a little bit more ram, 5G Wifi, the ability to pop in a SIM card and a slight improvement on the battery (although it really wasn’t necessary.
All of the above make this even better than my previous tablet, giving me really good browsing speeds as well as the ability to connect whilst i’m out and about without needing to create a hotspot.
This tablet in particular is what they call Octa core, this means that even the fastest apps out there that needs some serious processing for a portable device don’t have any issues running on this tablet, most of the tablets used however is spent streaming or watching downloaded programmes all of which can easily be seen on the screen even in a lighter environment which I did struggle with with my previous tablet.
Fast charging was another added bonus, this means that we can actually charge up the tablet really quickly which is a great help when you really just need to grab it and go as quickly as possible.
