Works well
I’ve heard good things about these fans, and I’m pleased with the results. Really helps push the heat around the room and I’ve directed mine towards a doorway to encourage heat around the house. Really pleased.
Brilliant fa
After just having a wood burner installed we decided on getting a fan and it has definitely made a difference in sending the heat more into the room . Would recommend
Efficient fan / fair price 👍
The price ! ( others are really expensive ) our previous expensive one failed. This was a great price, looks good, nice size so fits well on top of our log burner. Responds exceptionally quickly to the heat when the fire is lit. I recommend
Quiet and works
Bought to help spread warmth around the sitting room as the fire is opposite the door not the sofa!!! Works a treat, lovely and quiet – a tiny whirring noise when it’s at full speed but I quickly learned to ignore it (and I’m sound sensitive). Just sits on top of the wood burner and does it’s stuff.
Great value for money and surprisingly effective
Always fancied one of these little stove top fans for my log burner. Found it on Amazon, read the reviews and I cannot be more pleased, great value for money and surprisingly effective. Moves warm air around our lounge and into the hallway and managed to increase the temperature on our room stat – so it seems to be working .
Good Quality, works well
This was an additional purchase to add to other side of stove, slightly smaller than previous model (same make) this starts earlier but both compliment each other and help circulate the heat round the room. Well constructed and good quality.
Got 2 fans
Bought 2 of these fans and can’t fault them. Have read a few reviews saying you can’t feel the airflow from them which is true. Don’t know the science behind it but I assume they are still working despite not feeling the airflow. Curious to know othe people’s thoughts on the matter.

I was really sceptical as to whether it would make a difference but it actually does we have one at the moment but I think I’ll be getting a second one too would definitely recommend
Cosy
As always a super efficient delivery from Amazon. Fan works a treat. I was sceptical but read reviews and decided to buy one. Currently sat near the log burner and I really can feel the warm air being blown into the room. It’s almost silent as well and for 19.99 I’m very pleased with purchase.
Effective but flawed
The fan works at circulating heat very well and runs very quiet.
However, it has one big flaw.
The stand raises slightly around 250-300c to protect the motor.
All good and well, but unfortunately when it does this the fan starts to make a lot of noise. Clearly the bearings and fan don’t like running at anything other than perfectly flat.
So as long as you keep your stove at 250c or less it works fine, otherwise you’re going to have a very noisey fan.
Don’t know why I never purchased one earlie
Now call me a sceptic but I truly didn’t believe this would make a jot of difference to the heat output despite a friends recommendation as they swear by them, I really believed it was a pretty gimmick. How wrong one person could be it sets off not long after lighting the fire and whizzes away quietly right until the last embers are glowing. I am finding I am not adding as much wood, therefore saving on fuel and despite it being minus one this morning, I feel like I’m in the tropics so all I can say if you are in doubt I would say give it a try I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
Quie
I am extremely noise averse and this is pleasantly quiet. My ticking clock far over rides the noise. Only added it at the end of this fire, as I had forgotten about it, but opened the living room door and heat is being pushed out. Put a piece of paper against it and it certainly was moving.
Amazing in distributing the hea
Thanks to the fans, I use 30 – 50% less fuel in my stove and the whole room is warm now.
I would have given it 5 stars but sadly one of them makes a bit of noise from time to time. The other one is very quiet.
Bought this as a lot of good comments. we have a large living room and I thought this would help heat it better. The listing says that it should start spinner after about 20 mins but I lit the fire and within 2 mins it started spinning fast.
No noise at all from this and seems to make the room a lot warmer.
I am thinking of getting another for the other side of the burner.
Given the cost of heating I am going to try all methods and this seems to work.
Loud very loud to start then fixed itself after a few days
You’d not want to be watching TV with this going on.
*UPDATE*
After running this device for a couple of days it seems that the whine has gone and now runs as I would expect, virtually silent. So have updated star from 1 to 4. Only 4 as I should not have to wait for it to fix itslef.
Heats room up quicke
Glad I purchased this 5 blade log burner fan,definitely makes a difference ,have it sitting on the top of my fire at the back ,temperature in room goes up quicker and feels warmer compared to when I did not have one .
To be honest I wasn’t expecting this to really work and was thinking I’d probably have to return it as useless.
However, it’s brilliant. It really blows the heat out into the room and considering it’s just powered by convection from the stove’s heat it’s pretty impressive.
No assembly required, reasonably cheap and does what it’s supposed to do pretty well – what’s not to like
I’ve put it in the centre of the stove because it looks better (instructions say don’t do this for some reason) and it works perfectly.
