I found this is great with a bare iphone 14 pro but didn’t seem to work well with a mag case on it for some reason and I am not comfortable at all not having a protective case on my phone, it comes off at the slightest knock when its on the mag cas so gets pretty annoying when taking it in and out of a pocket, it sturdy enough and keeps your cards in well but if the wrong way round the do slide out of the top, overall I think this is pretty pricey and not that grea

Keeping my cards secure and easily accessible has always been a challenge. This magnetic wallet, crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum, felt sturdy. The pop-up mechanism gave a modern flair while ensuring easy access. It held onto my phone firmly, and for non-Magsafe users, the additional magnetic ring proved useful. Four out of five only because I would have loved a few more design colours.

Has been in use similar card wallet for two years but this wallet much thiner than I used. I’m satisfied so far. Had a rather large letter wallet with lots of ID’s and other useless stuff around. Have now reduced to 5 cards. Get along fine with it.
And it is huge benefit for MagSafe.

I dont like iPhone wallets as they are always seem too bulky and since my wife had her phone in a wallet stolen on holiday resulting in phone, cards and cash all going in one go I prefer to keep things separate. The little card holders to click on the back of my phone did seem to have some use st times though.

Being a Vine reviewer I have had the opportunity to try a few and yes they have a use but some had very poor magnetism, all had very limited capacity and none offered any misuse protection so often wondered if when using Apple Pay there was a chance that the reader would pick up a card as well.

This holder is a little different. To start with it is metal not leather or Vegan Leather (plastic). All cards are just stacked together inside so it takes 5 in a relatively thin form. Flicking the little lever on the side lifts and fans the cards so it is easy to pick the required card out. When inside the holder a tiny lever helps stopp the cards sliding out by accident. When separated from the iPhone it just looks like a stand alone card holder. Finally the magnetism is massively more effective than others I have tried.

Now the downside. It is a little on the heavy side compared to the plastic options and there is a snag on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I can’t flick the cards up without first taking the holder off the phone as the lenses for the phone camera stick up too much. Realistically the number of time I need my cards and not just use Apple Pay per month can be counted on a couple of fingers so lifting the holder off the phone to use is not a big problem. Tried it on my wife’s 13 Mini and it just clears the comers OK. Final minus is I still need somehweher to keep old fashioned folding money although these days that is a rare need as well.

It claims to be RFID blocking which I never thought was a practical issue on a wallet anyway but I hope that means cards will not get accidentally read when I try to use Apple Pay.

The bottom line is unlike the other stick on card holders I have tried this one is likely to get used.

The TOYFID Magnetic Card Holder can hold up to 6 cards but only 4 or 5 if they have embossed numbers (like credit cards). I found that 5 mixed embossed and flat cards worked well. The switch on the side of the wallet allows you to pop the cards up but it’s worth remembering they’re not fully secured in the wallet unless the switch is pushed all the way up to the top.

I’m using it with an iPhone and the magnetic connection is decent, though as the magnets are primarily arranged in a circle, it’s very easy for the wallet to rotate on the back of the phone, making it easy for the wallet to come off. There is a “tail” of magnets that are intended to keep the wallet properly aligned, but they don’t work all that well. This is an issue with the

All in all, as a modern card wallet the TOYFID is a well made option, but until the magnets or magsafe platform improves, there will always be limitations with magnetically attached wallets.

This is a metal rectangle that holds in my case 4 plain cards and one embossed card. There is a switch on the side that pushes the cards up, so you can get the out. I’ve shaken it and nothing has fallen out. It’s RFID. It attaches firmly to my iPhone. It has a magnetic stick on to attach it to an Android (I haven’t tried it). It’s a clever idea. I’m slightly ambivalent but I think that’s my lifestyle – if you use cards all the time I think you would find it very useful.
