Works as advertised
I need this product as my new laptop no longer has the larger USB ports. So far it’s worked great with no issues and it takes up barely any room. Works as advertised.
It works.
Bought to help recover data from a damaged smartphone, this allowed connection to an HDMI monitor, USB mouse and keyboard. Compared to the costs of taking it to an shop or repair facility, it is worth trying to do the same yourself, even if it fails, you still end up with a useful interface for other tech.
Handy tool to have for table
Got this for my tablet. Has lots of different ports so I can connect multiple electronics to my tablet at once without hassle. A must-have when I bring my tablet out and excellent value for money!
Perfect for a laptop setup
I have been using this for almost a year for my work-at-home station to set my laptop up with a mouse and keyboard. Works perfectly so I’m getting another for a second office.
Works like a charm with the pixel 8 pro
Very easy to use, just plug it into your smartphone, and use a HDMI cable to connect to an external display. Just hope that with the release of Android 15, there will be a desktop mode on pixel devices.
Best thing
I brought 3 of theses two for work and 1 for home.
Since everything is going USB C this is a great all in one with HDMI adapter hub.
Would recommend if you have a MacBook pro
Works - not used a lot so unable to state reliability
Not used a lot so unable to state reliability
Got laptops coming in with USB -C ports only so need something i can use my old usb sticks, monitors etc
Great for fixing laptops and using them as a media stations
Short cable but works perfectly
It’s (almost) perfect for my set-up. Powers my laptop, feeds my monitor and connects to my webcam, headphones/headset and wireless keyboard/mouse. All of those work perfectly, simultaneously, 100% of the time. The only drawback is the ridiculous short cable! But overall I’m happy.
Works with Switch
I bought this for my work laptop to use as additional USB and also connect a second screen. It’s a Lenovo Think Pad and it works perfectly for this purpose.
I then tried it with my Sons Nintendo Switch & a Dell 65w power supply and it worked flawlessly as a dock, displaying the screen on a TV / monitor. This really impressed me.
On top of that it works to display my wife’s Samsung S21 to display her screen on a TV / monitor.
Great litter box with multiple uses.
Superb, works great with Mac and windows
I use this for my MacBook and for
My HP elite book.
Works wonderfully, I can charge using it and replicate my display across multiple displays.
There’s a USB 3 port and 2 usb 2 ports
I can use the USB 3 port for display link, for up to 3 displays, and I can use the built in HDMI port on the dock to add another display for a total of four!
Works well with DeX
I bought this USB C hub to connect my old Samsung phone to my big screen TV using DeX mode. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. The hub has a USB C port for power delivery, a HDMI port for video output, a USB 3.0 port for data transfer, and two USB 2.0 ports for peripherals. The hub is compact and lightweight, and it comes with a short cable that plugs into the phone. The hub supports 4K resolution at 30Hz, and the video quality is crisp and smooth. The hub also allows me to use a keyboard and mouse with my phone, which makes it easier to navigate and type. The hub is compatible with DeX mode, and it automatically switches to it when I connect the phone to the TV. The hub is also compatible with other devices that support USB C, such as laptops, tablets, and Nintendo Switch. I think this is a great product for anyone who wants to turn their phone into a desktop or a gaming console. It is easy to use, versatile, and affordable.
Brilliant if you want to connect a second screen to your laptop/macbook
My college-going child wanted this as his Macbook Air didn’t have the necessary USB ports for his college hardware. I was so impressed that I got myself one so that I could use a monitor screen as a second monitor with my Macbook Pro (M1). It works fantastically well. Plugs directly into my Macbook and allows me to work on a 27″ screen while using my 15″ Macbook screen as a second screen. I have also been able to plug in my clicky clacky mechanical wired keyboard that I love to type with, and my Wacom tablet for navigating. It’s my perfect set-up! All for such a bargain price. Good quality, well made and works like a dream.
Perfect pair for the Rog Ally
I had already a cheap usb c hub, QGeem I guess, only once worked with Rog Ally. Then Windows 11 device manager said it could not read device descriptor, so everything connected the hub not worked any more. Then I bought this one, it saved my life. Now I can use Rog Ally like a true desktop computer.
USB C Hub
I purchased this to be used with a Fire HD tablet so that we could connect a USB keyboard and mouse while simultaneously providing power to the unit. Unfortunately, while the keyboard and mouse work fine in this setup, you are unable to provide pass through power, you will get a ‘water’ error if you do. Unfortunately, this seems to be an issue with the Fire devices being unable to untilise such a device. But the hub works as designed.
Can charge iPad Air 4th Gen at the same time as connect to external display
I bought this specifically because I spend my evenings tutoring students and thus wanted my iPad Air 4th Gen connected to the external monitor. The battery wouldn’t last an hr when connected. Hence the reason for buying this. I plugged in this device into my iPad, then connected the screen via HDMI, and inserted a wire connected to a charger to the PD input. And voila!! Now I can tutor for hours straight with no battery lost! 🙂 Very pleased!
it is durable and works good. price is quite fair too.
However, i will like to inform Amazon to review the manner their delivery staff behave. My order was placed on the floor, at the entrance of a block of flats. I reside upstairs and anyone could have picked it , the items were in their original packaging and the packaging was damaged(see attached). could you please advice your delivery staff to ensure packages are delivered to actual recipients or at the reception, my building has a reception and it would have been safer to drop with the reception staff rather than where it was left. This is about the 3rd time hence my complaint!
Seems generally ok. I find the short USB-C lead very awkward, and metal casing a drawback
The metal casing just introduces a risk of scratching up your macbook. Don’t like that. No matter how “quality” it makes the extender feel.
The short lead means the extender is off to the side just a bit too much. But it’s too short and a bit too stiff to wrap behind the rear onto the other side. Sort of awkward no matter what you try, IMO. Still, better than a stiff connection breaking your mac’s few USB-C ports. Don’t use those!
HDMI seems to work on my 1440 display, but video bit-range seems wrong (looks like TV standard, probably display’s fault). Clipping whites and lifting blacks. Needs further investigation. Don’t think it’s the adapter’s fault. (It’s an M1 mac)
Added info: Unlike some other hubs, this one actually works with 1440p. I got a USB-C extension lead that also allowed 1440p with this one, so that solved the short led issue. Not all extension leads will allow this.
