So happy with this kids ipad
The kids needed a new ipad and this is so good! So many games for the kids to play and download so they can play without WiFi too. Parental controls are really good as I have to monitor my youngest with what he does. The ipad tells random facts and jokes which the children find funny. Really pleased with it and would recommend
A capable sturdy device, kids love it!
Very easy to set up and add kid’s profiles to Google family which has many settings to monitor and keep them safe. Access to all the play store apps such as YouTube kids, unlike the Amazon tablets. Nice large bright screen, decent cameras and a long lasting battery, all in a sturdy case with a UK charger included in the box. Happy with purchase so far.
Great for kids, a little slow
This is ideal for kids. I have it for my 2 year old when she wants to watch peppa pig or bing. There are some great education games you can add through the google play store. The parental control is good, you use the google family link app. Although my only gripe with permissions, is you can’t control a level of viewing inside the Amazon video, Netflix or bccplayer apps, if you download them then your child has access to everything. I’ve had a couple of occasions where the tablet has frozen and we’ve had to hard reset (hold down power button) to get it to respond. Connecting to the internet is sometimes slow and intermittently drops out, but this doesn’t happen often enough to be a problem.
The setup process was quite irritating, I had to restart the tablet 2 or 3 times during the parental setup which sent me back to the start again. However I believe this is googles android software more than the tablet.
The case is robust and sturdy, the stand is a little difficult to get your finger behind to pull out, so no chance my daughter can do it, but we don’t let her on it unattended anyways. The screen is really clear and responsive, however sometimes actions take a second or so to kick in, I think this is just the hardware, it’s not an iPad after all so I’m not expecting lightning speeds.
There is a headphone jack and as card slot. The volume automatically set to a good volume for kids when plugging in which I thought was a nice touch. All in all a reasonable pad for kids. I would recommend this. The 4 stars is mainly for the setup and freezing issues I mentioned
Extremely cute and fas
I could say that I am really impressed by the quality of this tablet as my little ones have been now playing with it for about 3 weeks and it didn’t gain any scratches or other damage. The quality of the case is great and it has a really nice colour, which makes it perfect both for toddlers and older children.
I also like the speed of it, having no issues while downloading or playing any games.
The fact that it comes with preinstalled games makes it perfect for people with little technology experience.
Ein nettes Kindertablet mit gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
Dieses Tablet wird seinem Preis gerecht. Es ist leistungstechnisch kein berflieger aber fr ein Kindertablet wohl ausreichend.
Nach dem ersten Start war es schnell eingerichtet und die vorhandenen Apps verfgen ber deutschen Inhalt. Das ist fr Kinder super.
Das Display ist farbenfroh und hell. Die Auflsung allerdings nicht ganz zeitgem. Full HD wre schner.
Das Tablet fhlt sich von der Bedienung her in Ordnung an. Es hakt ein wenig, fhlt sich also nicht ganz flssig an.
Was ich wirklich bedauere sind die Lautsprecher. Es entsteht durch deren Platzierung ein einseitiger Klang. Wenn man das Tablet also quer hlt, kommt nur von rechts ein Ton. Das klingt erstmal ziemlich ungewohnt und blechern.
Was ich wirklich mag ist die Verarbeitung. Nimmt man das Tablet aus der berdimensionalen Schutzhlle, hlt man ein sehr wertiges Gert in der Hand. Das gefllt mir sehr.
Alles in allem bekommt es von mir vier Sterne.

Video and sound quality good. Battery life depends on usage. Of course if play games and youtube as children do lt lasts about less then just being stationary, but overall battery charging fast and use of it good. Menu nice and simple, nothing complicated.
Protective case big advantage and nice having it included in price. Overall myself and my child happy with item.
I bought this for my son as he is always playing on my tablet (which is a lot more expensive). This one is rugged. I love the fact it has a good screen, really well protected body and easy to use. We copied his settings from his android phone and this process did take a while, but once it was done it was brilliant. Haven’t been able to get him off of it, until his time runs out for the day!
Good screen resolution, pretty good cameras and the battery seems to last as well. It also has en expansion port should you wish to extend the memory!
All in all a good buy, not sure you could get more for your money.

Das Tablet hat einen schn bersichtlichen Home Screen. Keine unzhligen Apps, die ber mehrere Screens einfach aufgelistet werden, sondern offene Ordner mit verschiedenen Kategorien wie Spielen oder Audio/Video, in denen Medien und Apps nach den Interessen des Kindes vorgeschlagen werden.
Durch die groen Icons erkennen die Kinder, was sie starten, auch ohne zu lesen.
Das Tablet lsst sich ber das Google-Konto fr Kinder optimal fr Kinder einstellen.
Wir haben die Einstellungen so gesetzt, dass zum Installieren neuer, kindgerechter Apps die Zustimmung der Eltern ntig ist. Auch die tgliche Nutzungsdauer haben wir so gesetzt, dass sich meine Enkelin allein mit dem Tablet beschftigen kann, ohne dass sie stundenland davor sitzen kann.
Die Apps und Medien starten zuverlssig und laufen ruckelfrei.
Das Display ist wirklich toll! Bilder und Videos werden scharf und sehr klar dargestellt.
Auch reagiert es przise und direkt auf Berhrungen.
Die Kameras sind fr ein Kindertablet richtig gut und mehr als ausreichend, zumal man es eher weniger zum Fotografieren nutzt. Videoanrufe machen damit Spa.
Die Hlle ist schn dick und schtzt das Tablet vor Strzen zu schtzen. Die Aussparung fr die Tasten ist recht schmal gehalten. Ideal fr Kinder, fr dickere Erwachsenen-Finger etwas fummelig.
Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt ist die Lautstrke. Die ist nmlich wirklich laut, selbst auf niedrigster Stufe.
Das G2 Tablet ist ein wirklich tolles Tablet fr Kinder, und meine Enkelin hat mchtig Spa damit. Sie kann es nach kurzer Zeit sehr selbstndig nutzen und erhlt nur Zugriff auf kindgerechten Inhalt. Unterwegs ist das Tablet gurch die dicke Hlle sehr gut geschtzt. Fr eine Bibliothek an Videos, Hrspielen und Musik lsst sich der Speicher auf 1TB erweiterbar. Das ist toll fr Urlaube.
Better than I expected
I bought this as my newborn daughter loves watching the dancing fruit sensory videos on YouTube. I thought the bigger screen would be handy as well as the stand so I can prop it up. I was expecting just a cheap tablet that would just about do the job, however, I’ve been plesently surprised!
Unlike most cheaper tablets, this is on stock android 13, giving you an up-to-date android experience without all the bloat and forced launchers like some tablets.
The screen is more than good enough for videos and general usage. The speakers are very loud, although just from one port, you’ll not struggle to hear it. The brightness isn’t half bad either, admittedly I’ve only and will probably only ever use it indoors. The unit is snappy enough without any massive lag. A bonus is the fact it comes in a rather presentable box making it good for a gift.
Definitely surprised by this one. Will keep and eye on Umidigi products in the future.
I have bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter as our girls’ previous tablets died earlier this year. What we are used to is a Huawei T3, we got one for each of the girls during 2020 and they were fine while the lasted but suffered some lag and the charging ports were micro-USB.
I’d say the Umidigi is an upgrade, it seems like it will play Toca Life, Minecraft and Roblox just fine which is pretty much the criteria at this point. And TT Rockstar for school obviously…
It has already had an Android system update since setting it up and setting up parental controls is straightforward in the relevant Google app. I didn’t bother with the specific “kids zone” option on setup. I have switched off the “expanded memory” as I don’t find it makes a difference on my phone so will just keep it simple and switch it on if it seems like they need it. The case is super robust and quite comfy, it should survive any hideous potential drops. The stand is sturdy too.
Brand wise I have had Umidigi phones in the past and they’ve been absolutely fine so for a kids tablet at this price I’m really happy and am going to order a second one for our other daughter.
This is going to be a Christmas present so it’s going back in the box now I’ve set it up but I’m very impressed.
Solides Tablet mit gutem Display
Ich habe das Tablet im Rahmen der Prime Deal Days zu einem reduzierten Preis gekauft und es kam wie gewohnt rasch an.
Kaum ausgepackt war ich erstaunt ber die groe und vor allem bunte Verpackung. Sehr interessant gestaltet und auf jeden Fall etwas das ich bisher noch nie gesehen habe.
Im Lieferumfang ist alles notwendige enthalten, das Tablet welches sich schon in der Hlle befindet, Netzteil und ein USB-A zu USB-C Kabel.
Zu meiner berraschung war schon eine Bildschirm Schutzfolie auf dem Tablet angebracht was definitiv bei einem Kindertablet mehr als sinnvoll ist. So muss man sich nicht erstmal um das suchen einer passenden Folie kmmern. Die Hlle ist auch schn robust und mit einem praktischen drehbaren Ring/Haltegriff ausgestattet, welcher auch als Standfu verwendet werden kann. Die Hlle htte fr meinen Geschmack etwas kompakter sein knnen, da diese schon sehr klobig ist und den Zugang zu diversen Anschlssen etwas friemelig gestaltet.
Wie auch von den anderen Rezensenten angemerkt, braucht das Tablet eine Weile bis es hochfhrt, wobei hier auch der Preis bercksichtigt werden muss. Gut finde ich die aktuelle Android Version und das die Hardware bspw. durch WIFI 6 auf sehr aktuellem Stand ist. Das ist in dieser Preisklasse nicht selbstverstndlich. Was auch erstaunlich ist, ist die Helligkeit des Displays, die auch an sonnigen Tagen noch ausreichend ist.
Die diversen Kinderapps sind ganz nett gestaltet, wobei auch teilweise nicht vollstndig bersetzt oder nur mittelmig gut 😀
Da kann aber jeder ganz entspannt einfach die Lieblingsapps der Kids ber den Google Play Store herunterladen.
Bisher war ich auch von der Akkulaufzeit nicht enttuscht. Was aber etwas verbessert werden knnte wren die Lautsprecher. Die klingen doch sehr dnn, aber das ist auch bei dem Preis verschmerzbar.
Ansonsten ist das Kindertablet im gesamten solide ausgestattet und vor allem fr die Zukunft gut gewappnet mit der neusten Android Version und dem neusten WiFi Standard.

I purchased this tablet for my 5 year old daughter to stop her from pestering her older siblings for their phones. It has everything you could want for your child, a nice clear and large screen (10.1 inch), a decent amount of storage that is expandable to 1tb, a good amount of ram and a 2.0Ghz processor to keep things ticking along smoothly and a protective case that will avoid damage from accidental drops. It has an adjustable handle on the back which doubles as a stand, I think this is a brilliant addition to help children keep their tablet safe and secure whilst moving around from room to room etc. My daughter loves it, she plays Roblox and lots of other games, watches YouTube and much more. Battery life is fantastic with the 6000mAh cell, she gets a lot of use before it needs charging and the charging is pretty fast thanks to the USB-C charging. The volume is pretty loud and even at its lowest, it still emits a decent volume. I haven’t listened to any music on it to see how the bass, mid range and treble fair but from what I have heard from games etc, it is pretty decent sound. It does what it does very well and as a tablet that is intended for children, it is a great choice. I am happy, my daughter is happywhat more could I ask for. Definitely recommended!!
Have tested this for over a couple of weeks and must say have been impressed by the quality of the product. Initially, when switched on, it is a little laggy, however, it doesn’t stay that way and is responsive. I have had Umidigi products for 5yrs and have always been impressed with their products and how they are built to last more than 12mnths. The case is quite rugged, although it doesn’t add full protection to the screen, it does give ample protection to the surrounding area of the back and sides of the tablet and I hope will prevent majority of damages that would otherwise occur without it. All in all, I would recommend other parents as a low cost alternative to the more expensive tablets that are available on the market today, if you feel you don’t want to spend a huge amount on a device for your children, my 5yr old is going to be entertained by this at Christmas, I’m sure
Wonderful, my niece loved it.
When I opened the box I was very surprised at how light this tablet was even with the case which is well made very sturdy plus the case is nice to hold also. Performance is very good played star trek fleet command and was able to switch between multiple Google accounts very easy with no lag. Very good value for money especially the extra 10 discount code that got added to purchase without me needing to add code. Battery life is great and performance is good enough for a kids tablet better than fire HD as android is so much snappier and easier to use for kids. The processor is pretty new to market from rockchip who make CPU for some of the best TV boxes on market that is what draw me to this little tablet well I say little but the screen size is 10.1 compared to a firetablet plus 4gb + 4gb ram gives it a serious punch. Only drawbacks is this is a new chip on the market so expect plenty of updates from Umidigi to iron out any bugs they find with these chips but still I would recommend as it looks good feels good and not at all heavy so perfect for kids I am so pleased I am keeping it for myself never mind the kids
I will start my review with the most critical factor for me, which is the operating system. There are tablets out there in the same price range with Android 12 or even Android 11. This UMIDIGI comes with Android 13 which is excellent in terms of security if you think that this is a kids’ tablet.
It comes with a very protective case – I cannot find a way that the tablet can be broken with the case on! The only negative comment/improvement I have is the case because it is so thick that it is not easy to access the Power ON button. At the same time, there is no indication (like different colour) on where the button is so you find yourself rotating the tablet to find it. This is something that could be included in the next version perhaps.
In terms of performance, it is what you would expect from a tablet at this price range; It’s absolutely fine for kids and it does play apps, netflix, youtube etc without any issue.
Lastly, the display is quite good and it gets very bright if you want to. The battery is absolutely fine as well, and the package does come with a power adaptor and cable. The speakers can get loud and they are alright even for movies.
Overall, I would recommend this tablet for kids as you have everything you need to entertain a kid (Safe/latest Operating System, good protective case, very good display and battery life).

Came in a lovely box that can be gifted. For its price is an amazing device if you think that for the same quality, you will need to pay at least double for the same performance in a known brand.
The outer is robust and will withstand falls and banging. It can also stand to watch something without holding it.
It comes with apps specifically for kids but you can obviously download more and delete what you don’t want.
I would say that if you get rid of the protective cover, can be used by any age.
Connecting to wifi was easy and there were no issues at all.
For its price is a great alternative for what it does.
A good tablet for kids
A good sized tablet that comes with a robust cover and stand. My eight year old daughter is currently set up on it and she finds it easy to use and navigate. It uses a Google account which is great as I’m able to use parental controls to limit usage and approve apps etc.
We primarily gave it to her to use for homework – times tables games, spelling, reading but have also installed YouTube kids, Disney and Netflix on it for her.
The screen does lag a little a times which is annoying for me but she’s not noticed.
She loved that she could set up her own profile and little avatar. It has a decent enough camera.
Overall, great for what we need it for and a good device for kids.
Would recommend!
