I use this monitor for my work as a software engineer whenever I travel or want to sit at the kitchen table in my home with a dual-monitor setup, using my MacBook Pro monitor as the primary display and the UPERFECT monitor as my secondary display. The UPERFECT monitor is, no pun intended, perfect for what I was looking for, which was a moderately priced monitor with a great picture. It has solid brightness, the colors are fantastic, and the text is crisp. I’m considering upgrading to the 4K version for even better pixel density, hence even crisper text, but the 1080p resolution of this monitor is more than fine for everyday productivity. I also love that the monitor is lightweight, has narrow bezels, and lacks a distracting branding logo on the front bezel. It works fine with Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4, so long as you purchase a Thunderbolt 4 compatible data cable if going that route. My only complaint is that it lacks VESA mounting holes on the back to allow you to attach it to a VESA desktop stand. I’ve owned this monitor for three years, and it’s still going strong!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe monitor is great as a second monitor. The screen quality is great, I haven’t had the problems with brightness mentioned on other reviews. It’s very sturdy, lightweight and just plug and play with usb-c. Would definitely recommend for the price

Had to travel recently, needed an additional portable display for my laptop. Shopped around and finally settled on UPERFECT Portable Monitor FHD 1080P 15.6 Inch Monitor IPS Screen Matte Monitor. With HDMI and USB C ports this was perfect. I also had a few questions and interacted with customer service they were absolutely brilliant.

    Hands down a great investment.

USB-C screen with pass through power. Very versatile and usfull.

Is a bit of a shame the screen isn’t that little bit brighter, but that’s inherently a limitation of making it a low powered device.

I’ve actually invested in to their newest Kickstarter screen, a dual screen single cable solution. Very cool.

The cover is a necessity for travelling to protect the screen, and a few other brands do not supply. The magnetic “stand” aspect of said cover is of course useful but not the most secure, so somewhat of a let down. That said there is a hole to use a pen of sorts to stand it but have not yet ventured that far.

Worth it if you’d like to rock an addition screen in the office! This actually contributes as a 3rd for me, where my office USB C power /screen and 2nd usb out of laptop runs this one.

I bought two of these for a new desk setup and I am very happy with them.
The VESA mount on the portable monitor was exactly what I needed.
Delivery was fast, setup was easy and all the necessary cables were included.
Very happy with this purchase and how it has turned out.

My laptop shows slow charging when both power (laptop and monitor) and plugged in. Meaning to say, I can only charge my laptop via the slow monitor charging speed of the monitor power. Could not make any mobile phones display show. Overall, a good sharp monitor and easy to carry.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI’ve been using this monitor for a few days now and I can state that the quality of this monitor is very good. I’ve used this in several different configurations:

    1) 3 monitor setup connected to a Nvidia GTX 1080 card. Output is at 4K 60Hz using the supplied mini HDMI cable. The monitor must be powered by the included power brick and usb-c cable.

    2) Connected to my laptop as a 2nd display using the included usb-c cable via thunderbolt 3 port. Output is excellent with 4K 60Hz. In this configuration, if you plug in the monitor using the included power brick it power the monitor AND the laptop at the same time. Vice versa if you have your laptop power brick charging the laptop; the usb-c cable will drive the monitor and also power it so you only need the one cable

    3) Connected to Nintendo switch. Output was 1080P using the usb-c cable and also powering the monitor with the included power brick and cable. Quality was very good, although you can tell it’s 1080P. Much better than the native Switch screen though.

Picture quality: Excellent. Very detailed, similar to high end laptops running 4K 15″ IPS screens. Color accuracy seems to be OK. Not as good as color calibrated OLED laptop screens but definitely as advertised.

Brightness: Very good. I didn’t run my color calibrator on it yet, but brightness appears to be 300+ nits

Panel type: Since this is a touch screen, the surface is glossy using a glass or glass like coating on the screen. Very high quality, although I can’t state how durable it is. Definitely want to be careful moving it around. There’s definitely glare, but it doesn’t bother me and I prefer the sharpness of a gloss screen over matte (probably in the minority there)

Touch screen: Touch accuracy and response is very good, but note that the touch screen is only supported using the usb-c connection. HDMI will not work.

There is some light bleed, but it’s not bad and is similar to other IPS panels. To compare, this screen has less light bleed than my Lenovo X1 Extreme 4k IPS panel.

Overall a very high quality portable monitor on par with higher end IPS screens. It’s pricey, but worth it if you want quality with a glossy touch screen.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLovely screen, Plug and play – I chose not to use the touchscreen option (which requires an extra USB-C to be connected) as it was drawing a little more power from my Dell workstation laptop (which has a very hungry Gfx card) more of a Dell issue tbh.
Thin bezel, crisp text and plenty of brightness and contrast. Worth the money.
