The simplicity of this heat – powered fan is remarkable. It operates solely on the heat generated from the log burner, requiring no electricity or batteries. Its self – sustaining nature means that it starts automatically as soon as the stove reaches a certain temperature, distributing warm air efficiently and silently. The fan’s performance in heat circulation is impressive. It quickly disperses the warmth generated by the stove across the room, ensuring a more balanced and comfortable environment. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the distribution of heat, especially in areas that were previously less heated. The fan feels sturdy and well – made, and its compact size and sleek appearance complement the aesthetics of my fireplace setup beautifully. One of the most satisfying aspects of this fan is its eco – friendly operation. By utilising the heat from the stove itself, it maximises the stove’s efficiency, reducing the need for additional fuel consumption and helping me save on energy costs. Furthermore, the silent operation of the fan ensures a peaceful atmosphere without any distracting noise, allowing me to enjoy the warmth without any disturbance.
This dual valiant whirlwind log burner , stove fan is smaller than i expected , has a really solid design and build quality with two 3 blade fans that are heat powered with heat activation from as low as 45C but can be used an operated at temperatures as high as 340C.
I like the dual fan design, the first one like this I’ve tried , although the smallish fans only have 3 blades , they work brilliantly in circulating hot air with excellent heat distribution, a really solid and stable design too that certainly looks really durable too.
It’s very easy to use and set up , a good way to distribute the warm air and get it circulating around the room far better than without, so in the long term could even help in saving fuel by keeping the room much warmer.
You can also direct heat to a slight angle too if you like to heat colder parts of the room or towards seating areas that don’t get as much heat.
An all black design, robustly made and it came really well packed with the fans protected , I really like the design of this fan , it has a smooth, almost silent operation and is nice and compact considering it uses two fans.
