    Powerful and 4k Amazing Quality
The HDMI Splitter Extend 4K60HZ USB HDMI to Dual HDMI Adapter is a fantastic addition to my setup. I find it to be of great value, especially considering its compatibility with various computer versions, including Windows XP, Windows VISTA, Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11.

One of the standout features is its seamless functionality. The adapter works well, delivering a smooth and reliable performance. I particularly appreciate the option to support both mirror and extend modes, offering flexibility based on my specific needs.

The output quality is impressive, providing a crisp and clear display at 4K60HZ. Whether I’m extending my screen for multitasking or mirroring for presentations, the adapter consistently delivers excellent results.

In terms of value for money, this HDMI splitter is a standout performer. It not only meets but exceeds expectations, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone in need of reliable and high-quality HDMI splitting capabilities for their Windows-based systems.

Easy to set up and extends display fine
    Please excuse the non-techy review!
I work from home on a laptop and wanted something that would enable me to use a second monitor that has a different display to my laptop – this extender is just what I needed.
A big plus about this one is that it provides the connections you need too – the last one I tried didn’t have any of them (and didn’t work lol).

It was so easy to set up – literally just plugged it in to my laptop then connected the new monitor. Any issues and the instructions are well written too.
At first it just mirrored my display on both screens but I had a play with the display settings and set it to ‘Extend’ rather than ‘Mirror’ and that worked fine.

It’s a game changer to have 2 screens, so much more efficient and I don’t have tons of cables everywhere….

very good for splitting, not so good for extending monitors
This device is just a game changer for a multi-monitor device setups. The idea of having HDMI splitter and extender in one device is just splendid. This means that now you can split/ duplicate your monitor into two monitors and also you can extend your monitor.
With work from home getting more and more popular this becomes very useful device.
The only downside I have to tell about these product is that extent functionality works only with Windows operating systems

    Nice, but only for computers
Nice little box that works well, however, this is not just a switchable output, and essentially uses USB out from your computer as an additional display (only while using their specific driver). So OUT1 is just a “thru” of your HDMI out and OUT2 is a USB > HDMI1.4 display card.

    OUT1 Supports 4k60
    OUT2 Supports 1080p60

A well built quality robust piece of clever and versatile equipment.
When you open the box you find this perfect block of red metal and that in itself is pretty cool. The graphics are great and informative. The added bonus when you lift the black packaging out is to find, not only the comprehensive instruction manual, but two cables. One cable is the HDMI cable and the other the USB-A 3.0 cable. Both these cables are what you need to plug into your laptop/PC, so this was a great start to set up. We have found in the past that you just get the splitter/converter and no cables, but this kit is excellent in supplying the key cables too.

You do need to connect both the HDMI and USB-A 3.0 cables to your laptop/PC for the splitter to work, but this is because it is not just a splitter that mirrors your original display (although it can do that), but it also allows you to extend your display to show separate additional windows. To have the choice of either mirroring or extending is brilliant and covers all the bases you need.

We have a gaming laptop with extended displays through the splitter, using the 4K HDMI output to a 4K gaming monitor and then the 1080p HDMI output to a HD projector. It all works perfectly with great definition and response. This is a very powerful little box of tricks.

Does the job, but why a USB?
Got this to split HDMI in to two feeds for an extended monitor set-up at work, id does the job brilliantly and the image is crystal clear on both monitors.
I just don’t see why it needs to have the USB plugged in as well to work? I had hoped to have as few connections to my laptop as possible, so it was easy to disconnect, however this takes up the same amount as before, so is becoming pointless, especially after I found alternatives that can do it without the USB. It’s a good product, and well made, but better are out there for similar price.

Nicely compact, requires USB power & only one output 4K.
    HDMI Splitter

Simple active USB powered HDMI splitter. Device is nicely made in red aluminium, light weight at 60g and compact (6*5cm and 2cm deep).

Takes a HDMI input and duplicates signal to two output HDMI ports – though one of the outputs is only 1080P, other is 4K @60hz. So if you have different monitor resolutions, make sure you connect them the right way. Active power is provided by supplied USB-A to USB-A lead which is relatively short at ~50cm.

Basic HDMI lead included as well.

Requires PC driver, so no good for games consoles etc.

Arrives wrapped in plastic bag on a plastic tray inside a plain brown cardboard box, with USB lead, HDMI lead and instruction leaflet.
