Only time will tell how well these stay stuck but so far so good. Chain is good and strong and its a doddle installing them.
My child isnt old enough to open windows yet, but ill feel a lot safer in the future knowing they cant climb out their window!
Easy to install, easy to set the chain length and above all else its a nice safety option to help keep you feeling safer at home.
As a cat owner, I know the worry about mine pushing the windows open a bit wider so that they can squeeze out, so this option really has made it easy to not have that worry about having to constantly watch the windows when they’re around. The adhesive is strong, and the option of being able to adjust the chain length to suit really is a nice function so that it works well for wherever you want to place it. All round easy to attach, easy to set and for me a great piece of mind.
I got this for one of the uses shown in the product images: To be able to restrict the opening so our cat can’t fit through. I didn’t use the glue and so can’t comment on how well that fixture method works. I chose to use screws instead and found the ones included in the packet seemed too long (2.5cm long) and thick (4mm diameter) for my use. I ended up using screws about a quarter of the size but the fitting is still very secure and not wobbly at all
You have to hold in a button on the side and slide the faceplate button at the same time to lock/release the chain and so this works well to deter unwanted release by young kids or pets. The lock/realise mechanism is helped out by gravity and whether the lock or release process is easier for you depends on if you hang the lock part to the left or the right. If you hang the lock part to the right, then the lock release is easier — maybe this should be avoided?
Overall, I found this worked well for my use. The lock/release mechanism is a but fiddly to attach the chain but I guess it is supposed to be hard and you aren’t meant to be releasing and relatching this very often.
A game changer for indoor cat owners, these window locks allow you to have your windows open enough to let in the fresh air, but not enough to let your feline friends get out.
They are easy to stick to the window frame with the provided adhesive and easy to adjust the chain to the desired length. Easy for an adult to open and adjust, but not simple enough for most toddlers or pets to figure out.

Although been only under 5 its pretty reasonably priced, Good quality product and very easy to install using either the adhesive or screwing into the window with the screws provided.

Good value for money
It works as advertised, very easy to adjust thanks to the simple chain unlike some of the more complex window restrictors using some slide mechanism. For me main use was to keep my cats inside and it does that perfectly. My only real gripe is why the glue? It seems to be sturdy but it makes the whole installation much more messy, and depending on the customer experience can vary. Because of the inconsistent/wrong glue application I can imagine some people being unhappy with the results. There are some great heavy duty double sided tapes that can hold just as strong and installation would be much easier (Glue takes around 72h to fully dry and adhere). I still reccoment the product but possibly pair it up with some strong heavy duty double-sided tape instead.
