This does fit a normal Weber style kettle bbq it is not as thick as some of my other garden covers but at the same time it’s good enough and water proof to keep the elements off the bbq.
It has a Velcro strap at the bottom allowing you to wrap around one of the legs to stop the wind getting up under it and blowing away. Something that has happened to me previously!
Low enough price to save an expensive item!
This Zettum Kettle BBQ Cover is made of thick and strong material compared to my other BBQ cover and feels more durable. It doesn’t come with a drawcord, instead it comes with velcro to hold it down. Good size and is waterproof so protects the contents from the sun.
This is a simple plain black BBQ cover. It’s designed to cover a kettle BBQ of around 22″ in diameter.
It’s made from thick waterproof material which gives me confidence it will stand up to the unpredictable British weather!
At the bottom of the cover there is a hook and loop strap that you can use to attach it to your BBQ. If I could have one wish, it would be to add a couple more straps to the bottom to enhance its stability, especially during windy conditions. Despite this, the cover is built to withstand the weather and its overall construction is sturdy and well thought-out.
To sum up, I’m satisfied with this BBQ cover. The materials and design give me confidence that my BBQ will be protected from the elements for a few more years to come.
This BBQ cover is good value and fits as stated a Weber BBQ that is 57cm. Currently at 18.99 full price and compared to the price of other covers for its quality its worth it.
Its not as thick as some other branded covers but thicker than many and seems good enough quality for its purpose.
It comes down to above the ground but covers a lot more of the BBQ than many other covers which is good.
As its a BBQ cover for this Weber model it has a domed top and would work just as well for any BBQ that is 57cm with a domed top.
It comes in plain black with no company logos or symbols which is a bit different from what I was expecting looking at the company listing but I think its far nicer in plain black.
There is one velcro strap at the bottom of the cover to attach to one of the legs but as it covers the whole BBQ nearly down top the ground (not touching the ground) I don’t think there will be any need to use the strap. Anyone using it to cover something else might want to use the strap.
Well worth considering but check the size of your BBQ first and realise its designed to fit a domed top BBQ.
This is a very nice cover to protect your kettle style BBQ out of doors and is made from a heavy gauge material that should last for years.
One think I was wary of was the way it is secured to BBQ as most I have used previously had a draw string in the bottom but this has just one velcro strap that strops around one of the 3 BBQ legt, as can be seen in 2nd image.
However I think it works fine and so long as the BBQ is the right size so the cover is not very loose I am sure it will keep it secure in all but hurricane conditions. We have had some 30 to 40 MPH winds overnight lately and it remained secure.
Pros: Heavy gauge fully waterproof cover. Because of how it secures to BBQ not using a draw string it completely covers the while of the BBQ almost down to ground and as such looks really neat rather than the draw string type that sort of bunches the cover around the maun BBQ and leaves most of the legs to the elements and looks untidy.
Cons: None really, if I am to be rel picky I would have liked to have seen 3 velcro straps at 120 degrees apart to strap around each of the 3 legs, this would make it super secure and real quick to fasten and unfasten (draw cords can be a bit of a faf) but from what I have seen this is probably not required so I still give it 5 stars.
This is perfect for protecting my kettle barbecue. I previously used one that was made for my old gas barbecue but it was too big causing it to flap in the wind and hang on the floor. This is advertised as being for a Weber barbecue but I just have a big standard one from the garden centre and this fits perfectly. It is tight enough to stay in place and not get damaged by flapping in the wind and at the same time it is loose enough to put on and remove easily. It reaches to a couple of inches above the ground which means it won’t collect huge colonies of nesting snails.
The material is good quality and should add plenty of protection. Construction is good and all the stitching seems strong on mine.
The is one Velcro fastener in the bottom corner. This is adequate to stop the cover blowing away but it would have been better to have a fastener in each corner to distribute the strain more evenly in bad weather and reduce wear on the fabric and stitching. However this is a very small niggle about a very nice cover. I would definitely recommend this.
