Strong glue. Make sure you put at the right place/ height because the glue may pull of any paint or vanish.
Great sound proofing and draft excluder. I will b ordering more
Does its job very well
I got it for the bottom of my door, where I had an uneven gap. It’s perfect, no more draft or light from the hallway! Sticks well and lots left.
As described
Bought for our front door, this has achieved what we expected in that it has excluded the draught from coming through the porch to our living area. Easy to fit and appears to be adhering well. Price was reasonable and delivery was quick.
Instructions weren’t needed. This was very straight forward to fit onto the bottom of my door. I bought it because my room is by the front door so any time somebody leaves I would be woken up – this blocks sound so well that this is no longer an issue.
Purchasing draft exclude
I’ve also recently purchased this type of draft
Excluder this does the job now my living room is warmer and draft free and I’d recommend this to anyone looking for this type of product.
Draft exclude
Used this on the outside of my metal garden shed door. To help keep the rain from running inside the door. Since I have used this (heat with hair dryer for a better adhesion.) It has stayed in place with all the weather conditions that we have had recently. Would recommend
Draught exclude
Bottom of door had been cut and the edge left uneven. This did a fantastic job to cover up completely as it is not see through like some other products. Looks good as well
I was pleasantly surprised by this rather good, flexible and effective self adhesive excluder. It was easy to fit, make sure you follow the instructions. I gave 4 stars for ease of installing as the print on the instructions was so tiny I had to resort to reading them with a magnifying glass even with my reading glasses on.
Did the job and so easy to install/stick. I wanted to block the WIND! coming through the skirting along the bay window and these seems to have an amazing job of it and it looks very discreet.
I heated both strips up by leaving them along the top of the radiator for 10mins so that they became a little more stretchy to stick along the skirting (it makes each strip slightly longer too).
Thankfully we don’t have any critters or rodents through the gaps but I’m certain these strips would block off unwelcome intruders if you press the edge right to the ground.
Really happy with these! I wish it came in longer strips. Will probably buy again since I’ve taped up 2 or 3 sides of a bay window
Easy to use, looks good & does not let any draft through
I used this to replace an old brush-type draught excluder on the bottom of a hall door. It was incredibly easy to install & adhered perfectly. It seems sturdy. Has been in place for about a month now. Cannot feel any draft at all now coming through the hall door. It also looks really good. The dark brown blends into the same colour on the door. It brushes over the floor easily when the door opens.
Effective and easy to use
There’s a sizeable gap between my door and frame, that I’ve been filling with a draught excluder, but its just not cutting the mustard in these sub zero temperatures, so I thought I’d try this draft excluder, and it’s PERFECT.
Easy to use, sticks well, easy to cut, and is very effective. I’ve got rid of the draught excluder (okay it was one leg of a pair of tights and some cushion stuffing), now my home is much warmer, and it looks so much smarter than the tights hah!
Definitely recommend.
Cut it to size
It’s great at keeping out draught. Notuced rooms get really warm now with central heating on. The only downside is that it makes a squeaking sound when you open/close the door. That is if the rubber touches the floor. So I suggest leaving a 1 cm gap. Or if you want to keep in the heat in then keep it snug.
Stays stuck well, a bit too deep for fitting door to floor so had to cut some off the bottom. Definitely notice the improvement and reduction in draught. Would recommend
Have had these on bedroom and lounge doors for over a week now and still in place. Very easy to use and the adhesive is strong. I heated with a hairdryer as recommended by others to warm the glue. The silicone is a little more flexible than I would like and I’ve since found some more rigid ones which I prefer but still can’t complain about these ones. Just make sure to get positioning spot on as once that glue is stuck it will be hard to rearrange…I tried and it pulled the paint off the door and left a section without stick!
It works
Easy to fix, and definitely keeps water and leaves out of my garage. So I discovered the water on the floor and from a leak I’ll get fixed. Keeps the draughts out too . Recommended
Easy to install, looks good, is sound-proofing. BUT, although not the product’s fault, since my floor is slightly uneven, after 45 of the door opening, you hear the scraping and high-pitched noise, which gets very annoying! Now looking for a softer material draught excluder for this door/room.
Update: high-pitched sound goes after a while.
