Does what it says, and cheap
I got this to charge my USB-C pixel buds on a stand that uses lightning. It works well enough, my headphones charge! Not much more too it really, it’s an adapter and it works!

Works well. Useful for the car, and the tether is a good idea too.
This works well. Very useful for the car where my wife and I have an lightning and a USB-C phone. Now we can have a single cable in the car, and just use the adapter, which is much tidier. In addition, the tether on this adapter means you can keep it attached to the cable, even when you’re not using it. This is particularly useful for the car, I find, where small devices have a tendency to disappear just when you need them. That’s why I’ve given this five stars, whereas I’ve given others on amazon four stars.

Do exactly what you expect them to.
These are great, featuring a quality metal housing, a snug fit for both connectors, a small chain to attach to a keychain to keep in your pocket, and a basic LED to show if it is either receiving power or actually charging something.

Cheap and do exactly what I needed them to do. I can’t ask for more.

Very Useful As USB-C Becomes the Default Charging Po
Not only for people who are left with a pile of Lightning cables after they move up to an iPhone 15, these adapters are for anybody who is finding everything these days has USB-C charging ports.
The adapters look well made and have a light that turns from red to green to reassure you that the device using it is compatible. There is also a small chain attached by a pair of lobster clips that allows this small device to be fastened to the cable so you don’t loose it.
USB-C is more complex than earlier USB-x interfaces and this adapter claims to not only transmit power for charging, my application, but also for OTG (On The Go) data connection to USB storage devices, but not headphones or apple pencils. I tested data transfer from an SD-Card reader that connects to my iPhone with a Lightning connector. Plugging this into an ipad Pro’s USB-C socket using this adapter didn’t work. The red light flashed and as instructed I changed the orientation of the plugs, but to no avail. This might be an iPad incompatibility issue, they can be a bit fussy.
My five stars are for the charging performance. I will leave others to determine if these adapters are any good for data.

    Does what is supposed too.
Great value, 6 adaptors for a fiver. Doesn’t even get warm like a note comment made. Fits perfectly and seems to work great.
Jus a pity it’s made in China where 99.9%of stuff comes from these days.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersSeem fine for charging phones
Work pretty well with it the (current) standard phone USB charger plugs to allow phones with the newer generation connectors to use existing leads. Obviously not quite as good as a dedicated cable, but decent solution if you don’t want to buy yet another load of cables immediately. Have not tried these with data transfer.
