Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBetter than the rest !!
After years of shaving with trimmers that didn’t shave close enough or blades not sharp enough or crap battery power this ticks all the boxes.
I’m a black guy and like many of us I’ve been prone to razor bumps, this shaver goes as close as possible without irritating skin and leaves my head looking great with literally zero stubble.
I’m 3 haircuts in and around 6 shaves and still on the 1st charge .
Perfect for wet use also but the power button is too smooth so can be difficult to switch off with wet hands .
So far the only other attachment I’ve used is the nose trimer and again I can’t fault it ..
Much better than the braun/Philip’s all in one shavers that are on the market .

    Excellent trimme
All you need in one. Very good quality trimmer, well made and gives an excellent trim, really smooth. Would recommend. I think at 120 it’s overpriced, fortunately I paid 65 on Black Friday so I feel I got great value for money.

    Great Hair Clipper Se
Been cutting hair for quite a few years now. One of the best clipper sets you’ll find.

Super good quality. 3 hour battery life. Comes with a clipper case(nice soft fabric). Has a very good variety of clip sizes.

Haven’t found a fault with it yet.

The box it comes in too is great. You’ll probably want to keep i

    The best in class
I have owned a babyliss hair clippers set for many years and used them on a regular basis but finally the re chargeable batteries gave up the ghost so had to purchase a new set so without hesitation I looked at the babyliss range the one that impressed me the most is the super-x-metal hair clippers the quality of manufacture is excellent they feel right in your hand when using them the fact they are re chargeable so no wires to get in the way is excellent would recommend you try them and hopefully find them as good as myself.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBest clipper ever for self-haircuts
I recently upgraded from a corded clipper to the Babyliss cordless model, and I must say, I’m absolutely amazed. Let me provide some context: I have incredibly thick hair, and I’ve been cutting it myself since the start of lockdown. This premium clipper, which I acquired for 70, has already proven its worth. In just over 3.3 haircuts at home (at 20 each), it will have paid for itself.

Upon its arrival, a few standout features immediately caught my attention. The clipper offers a wide range of sizes, spanning from 0.5 to 7, with additional options for those seeking seamless fades. Given my thick hair, I was initially concerned about its ability to handle the thickness, but it effortlessly glided through, confirming its status as a top-tier clipper.

One of the most impressive aspects is its battery life, which extends up to an impressive 3 hours. This means I can power through multiple sessions without the hassle of constant recharging. Moreover, it’s worth noting that the clipper has an aesthetically pleasing design – a subtle but appreciated touch.

The noise is half the decibels of my previous clipper, I rate it 6/10 in noise, could be better but anyways it does a great job going though the hair.

Initially, there was a hint of apprehension that I might have overspent, especially with more affordable options available on Amazon. However, after experiencing its performance firsthand, any doubt vanished. I can confidently say that this purchase was a wise investment. I wholeheartedly recommend the Babyliss clipper, giving them a perfect 5/5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSolid choice!
These clippers are pretty good and plenty sharp, they do however need to be adjusted to bring the gap closer to zero for optimal performance.

This is called zero gapping and you can find video on how to do this. I recommend leaving about a mil gap between the outer blade and the inner cutting blade, this will ensure the clippers dose not catch the attachments while in operation.

This is a solid choice and a good all rounder and to top it off it runs really silent.

My third set of Babliss hair cutter in 20+ years. The power of the Liion battery is amazing. The speed gives an accurate cut. Easily heldbut heavy. Length arm is very positive. The guides seem flimsy.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersEfficient Hair Clipper for Home Haircuts
The BaByliss Super-X Metal Hair Clipper is great for cutting my dad’s hair, although it offers fewer guide options compared to my previous clipper. Despite this, it provides precise and efficient cutting results, and its solid build ensures durability. Previously I was using a cheap corded clipper and the difference in cutting ability is unbelievable. Truly a joy to use.

I’ve had a Babyliss clipper before and it’s been grate and still working good too .
I saw this one and decided I would buy it as it’s got more cutting blades , like a 1.5 , 0.5 so cuts even closer , cut my husbands hair and looks really good so he won’t need to go to the barbers again saves 16 every 6 weeks , they will soon pay for their self .
Just look on YouTube lots of videos for beginners to get you started. Cut my sons hair see pic , think I’ve done a good job and he’s pleased with it and it’s saved him 19 at the barbers

    Excellent.
Have been looking for wireless clippers that have the capability to finely adjust the mm cut to enable a fine beard trim. These are perfect. Leaves just enough stubble. Comes with multiple grades, and travel pouch.

    Quality produc
I’ve been shaving a number 1 on my head each week for over 30 years and have had a selection of clippers. The wireless ones would only last a couple of years and need recharging every week. I have owned these since Christmas, shaved a number 1 each week for 10 weeks without the need to recharge. Yes, they cost more than some, but they are a very good quality product, which I fully expect to last for years so the upfront cost will ultimately be a saving. I highly recommend.

    Decent hair clippers
Brought after my husband dropped his last pair. Work well, look nice and charging stand is a nice feature.
Only downside is it didn’t come with a storage box like our previous Babyliss clippers, overall good value for money.

    The best one to date
Increased usage of such clippers during lockdown but used other brands for 10+ years.
This machine is easily the best yet – great blade, quiet and quick. Lots of good quality combs to attach – not the brittle type. Highly adjustable on the device itself. Comfortable to use, fits hand perfectly.
Well-weighted, balanced – very good construction using quality materials.
Excellent battery life and charges quickly.

    Great All Round Clippers
Super sharp and I manage to get the close trim I want without needing to use a razor. Feels like a quality product, nicely weighted for ease of use. The blades are super sharp , so need to be extra carefull around ears, etc. Great set of clippers though for use to get close to grade 0 on scalp and then with attachments, required grade for beard. Overall happy with them so far.

    Solid clippers
I had a Babyliss cordless clippers for years before buying these, so was confidence they would be good. And they are – very solid, professional feel with the chrome and plastic. It’s primarily for grade 0 beard trimming, and it’s a neat cut, although not quite as short as I would like, ideally. Nevertheless, good battery (six shaves so far from the initial charge), solid build, loads of accessories and looks good.

Great to us and quiet, Shame the price dropped by 50 as soon as I bought them. I just hope that the gauges last longer than most. Still it gave a good cut.

Really happy with these clippers. I have now been using them for quite a while. Its nice to have the recharge so you don’t have the wires getting in the way. With a better selection of grades you can style your hair how you want. Another great feature is that the charge lasts for ages. I have only had to charge it twice in about 8 months and I cut my hair once every two weeks.

    Excellent quality but does nip
Excellent quality of build and steel. The attachments are of plastic surround which does loose is colour, they’ve gone from shiney metal effect to black in places, from pictures it made me believe that the whole attachment was steel. But the blade is and the blades are great. The 1mm beard trimmer does nip a lot though which causes a lot of discomfort when using, waiting for the next nip of hair. Recommend this over any other body groomer. The battery life is amazing too.

    Bits are not very sma
Bits are very pointy which makes them hard to use when short mm are chosen. for example, They are useless for trimming moustaches.
But apart from that it’s a good device

    Feels quality
These clippers feel very professional and solidly built. Only done a few cuts so far, butso farvery happy. I only cut with clippers fully retracted, so I can’t comment on the any of the numerous supplied combs. Haven’t so far, experienced battery life, but its easily recharged via usb, so it’s not an issue for me. Clipper blades are fast, so there is no ‘plucking’. ++++++

Overall the product is good but it pulls the hair and The wide clipper isnt that much of a good cutter. Besides that its good but does it worth the price tag, no.

Great wireless clippers - as good as mains powered
I’ve tried a couple of battery clippers in the past – from Braun and Wahl, for convenience when I started cutting my hair each week. I moved from Wahl mains ones which were great and never struggled to cut hair at any speed but inconvenient having to plug in.

Neither of these ones I tried from reputable brands were great they’d easily get stuck with thicker hair and would need to go slowly to not chew into it. These ones from Babyliss are another league. They cut through without resistance and the charge lasts a long time.

Best cordless hair trimmer I’ve had over 10 years
The -ve is that it’s a bit bulky as a cordless trimmer buts that’s the only negative. You get a mountain of different attachments for every length of cut. Much better range of attachments than any other device. Takes a fair bit of time to charge but I’ve done three cuts and still shows a full charge so that’s a big plus. Other battery trimmers struggle to cut – not this thing, it cuts your hair like a 230v wired cutter. If I get a couple of years out of this trimmer, I’ll be 100% happy. So far all I can say is.. Buy one. You won’t regret it.

I got these when they were reduced to under 80, after binning a 20 new set of clippers I took a gamble with. These have good blades, cut even and short, are comfortable and easy to hold. They feel weighty, powerful and of good quality, like they will last a good few years.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWell made and solid
Very pleased with is. It feels good and solid and has a nice weight to it. The handle is a good shape to hold too. The combs are a useful size range and it does a good job cutting.
Along with the recent trend to lose the chargers and supply only a USB lead, there is no charger in the box. I have no problem with this.
It feels like it will last a long time, unlike the cheaper plasticky stuff.
I usually do a 10mm all over so I haven’t had the opportunity to play with the cut height adjuster, but even this has a satisfyingly solid click in use and is made of metal.
I hate cheaply made kit so I would recommend this
