Great budget watch
I ordered this as an Xmas gift for my daughter, as one I’d previously bought off eBay was rubbish.
She’s really pleased with it, and loves all the features, plus it comes with two straps.
I’d recommend this product to other people looking for a budget smart watch.
Cost effective and easy to set up
This watch is cost effective, looks trendy and was easy to pair. I love the app and all the features offered. There are many watch faces to choose from, lots of seasonal ones as well.
Great size screen 👌
After not receiving 1st watch. I ordered again and glad I did it’s a cracking watch. Not sure about the accuracy of heart and step counter. But it is a great size full face .Great colour pixel. Worth the money.
I have been using the watch for the last 2 weeks. I wanted to try it before writing a review. The charge lasted for 8 days for me. I use training mode everyday for 2.5 hours (jogging and yoga). I am impressed by the performance of the watch while there are much more expensive options. Steps counting is working correctly. It helped me to improve my performance by measuring my speed and heart rate. Only minor drawback is sometimes the screen touch is a bit sensitive. But by using the app, I can overcome it. Bought this for 21 pounds!!! It is a great product for value. I love the strap colour and the watch is so light. I almost don’t feel the watch. Planning to buy as a gift to family members too.
This watch is quite simply, brilliant! After my Samsung watch failed after 3 months from ‘water damage’ and Samsung told me you could only swim in fresh water (wtf!) I decided to never waste money on their watched again!
ENTER…..THE BLACKVIEW!
From the start it was easy to set up and get started. The battery last about a month, even now at almost a year of use. The watch faces are good enough and I always find something i like. It measures accurately, syncs ok, survives multiple bashes and drops, and generally does the job well!! Most importantly, after 10 months of use AND swimming classes twice a week, ITS ABSOLUTELY FINE!!!!!! This watch gives what it says! I’ve managed to buy some nice straps for it too!!!
The app is a bit temperamental lately, but I’m wondering if it needs an upgrade.
Overall, I’d never go back now. These watches perform 1000 better than Samsung and iPhone watches for about 10% of the price!!!
I’ve used it for about a week and can’t complain really. I like the vast choice of faces in-app and love the additional fabric strap, particularly in this heat. Although, I still need to figure out how to deal with the ‘sports’ bit. My only outdoor activity is walking for health reasons; it starts alright but then keeps pausing by itself and doesn’t save the data (I’m still trying to figure it out along with getting SMS and call notifications on my watch; had no time to delve into user guide properly yet). Sleep tracking is fine, the step count is more or less accurate too. I haven’t used all features yet and might not do so. Overall, I’m rather happy with the watch and the battery life is great.
Does the job for a step counter and watch, the App is awfull
After losing my smart watch I bought this, the app is no where near as good as the other cheep watch I had. Was pretty, comfy, told the time and counted steps well. When swimming it didn’t stay on exercise mode which is my main reason for purchase.
My old watch you could click on the wave chart to see exact HR and time taken can’t do any of that on the app only guess.
Great for motivating my health and exercise changes.
I bought this specifically for tracking sleep patterns as I have had many years of problematic sleep. I like that it gives a clear visual graph of how good (or poor) my sleep is and a short note on the harm of lack of sleep. I could see results in one night by changing the time I went to bed, and other adjustments.
I have set a steps goal but have not seriously pursued it, but it was really encouraging see that I had exceeded it one one day just by taking the dog for a walk.
I am not tech minded and I briefly looked at instructions and when I saw the QR code I used that, it was quick and in minutes everything was set up.
For the price, it does just what I needed and is good value for a health tracker and is making me more conscious of sleep, movement and the heart beat range needed for my age group to burn it those extra pounds!
Great watch! I didn’t have to add any extra holes despite having a smaller wrist. Lots of different trackers that allow me to have a better idea of how my body is getting on every day. It’s also really nice to be able to track my sleep and see the deep sleep light sleep awake breakdown when I would only have known I was asleep.
It also tracks my steps and lets me know better than the phone I often don’t have on hand and is in my handbag not tracking steps. I’ve felt more pleased about my step count thanks to the watch
Came with an extra watch strap if the silicone strap doesn’t appeal to you – it’s fabric.
It also came with a charging cable which I was very glad about as I didn’t have a magnetic charger so I thought I was going to need to get one.
I’m very glad to have bought i
I rarely write any reviews but this watch deserves it. I am massively surprised by the quality in comparison to the price! I did not expect the miracle but this watch does everything according to the producer’s promise. Battery life is long, step counter works with no problem, app easy to configure. The only thing I can complain about is the measuring the distance while cycling which does not work properly and is quite annoying.
In all, worth giving it the try for essential fitness tracking.
I loved my Fitbit versa. But it stopped charging and is out of warranty.
I don’t have the money to get a new one.
So I looked for a smartwatch that had the amenities I was used to – sleep tracker, text notifications, flashlight, timer, alarm- for a decent price.
I chose this one because it came with two straps.
I also like the option to upload your own picture for a face.
Pros- the fabric strap is much better than the plastic one and reminds me of my Fitbit straps. It’s got the amenities I wanted plus some extras like blood pressure and body temp. It’s not a lot of money. It connects to my iPhone. I have a super cute watch face.
Cons- it’s not super accurate. You can’t edit anything (ie you know you slept 8 hrs with 1 hr hanging in bed but it says you slept 9 hrs) . The timer only has its own options preset into it (1,5,10) so you can’t really do a 7min timer etc.
It’s a great stopgap and it does the job for now. However I will be getting a Fitbit versa when I have the money and this will be my spare.
I actually paid for mine so not a freebie review. Had it for a month now.
I did quite a bit of research before buying and had a 30 budget so this fitted
Positives – the pink rubber strap is quite comfy – I thought it might be sweaty but it is very supple with a slight soft texture and looks more expensive than it is. There is a second strap and clips (see photo to snap it on and off)
The app is very easy to follow – I have android – I spent a lot of time setting up the app just how I wanted it. What I liked was that the permissions were set to off as default and you choose what you share. Changed the watch face which is a nice touch.
Battery loss about 15 – 20 % per day but very quick to charge and the magnetic charger just easily snaps to the back(the right way around)
Waterproof – I have been swimming and showered with it no issues. – I don’t press the side button but the touch watch face still works with dry-ish fingers.
FIND my phone – great – I am one of those people who has not actually lost their phone it is in the room/car/office but I can’t quite remember where I put it. In Bluetooth range it connects you press a button and it rings your phone even on silent. Then you take you phone out of your coat pocket and get on with your life. – A great add on would be if I could buy a key fob that worked with the watch
Negatives
It does count some hand movements as steps but not a lot – my husbands watch was 7 times the price and still gets things wrong so I am fine with it.
Health tracking seems to follow ok but the temperature alarm did not do anything.
I wish the switch on when you lift your arm would be a little less reactive at night. It is too bright and distracting-maybe change to a wrist flick/double arm lift at night.
I would buy it again and recommend to a friend.
UPDATE- the company have now contacted me directly to resolve the issue although I still think they need to update their information with Amazon as without this review I would have been able to resolve this. I have updated the review as my husband has the same watch and it works great
For the last month or so it keeps randomly factory resetting. Then last week I spent a week with my husband and my steps were less that half of his so the step o meter in it also isn’t working.
I tried to contact the company using the information that Amazon provide for them only to receive an email back from a different company who have had theirs listed incorrectly as customer support, neither them or myself are able to find contact details for the actual company! So basically I have a rubbish watch and I’m unable to get support with i
Edited to add… I have been sent a replacement because it stopped being able to charge. Customer service was great. However they have informed me that you cannot swim in it despite the listing saying you can which is a shame because that’s the main reason I bought it.
This is exactly what I wanted and more! It’s a beautiful watch, the screens are so user friendly, I love that I can customise the front screen and there are so many beautiful ones to choose from as well. It does so much more than I realised like a relaxation programme, controlling the music on my phone and taking a photo on my phone by shaking the watch. The best thing is that it stays dark at night. The thing that bugged me the most about Fitbit is even with it turned off it would light up when I moved at night.
My “traditional” watch had given up the ghost so thought I would replace it with something more up to date. I wasn’t looking for anything too fancy, just wanted something cheap and cheerful as I didn’t think I would be that bothered about any of the fitness features of it. When I got the watch I downloaded the app and got it linked up. Was quick and easy to do. I like that you get a choice of 2 watch straps with it. The rubber strap is getting a bit dirty looking already and that’s just after a few weeks of wearing. Haven’t tried washing it to see how easy it cleans. Loads of different watch faces to choose from which I like. I like getting the notifications from my phone to the watch. You can see a bit of what has been written in a message. You can set it up so you don’t get the notifications if you prefer. I have been sucked in to checking my steps which is something I’ve never been bothered about! I think that’s a good thing – helping me to be mindful of my fitness and health. I don’t know how accurate the step counter is but I’m not too worried about that. I like that there’s a timer which you can set for a range of times. Also a stopwatch feature and a host of others. I really love it and it’s such a great price.
