Brilliant little speake
I’d wondered if this tiny speaker would be a good idea, whether it would produce a sound loud enough and with depth – wow. Very good. I now take it with me to listen to music and my audible books.
Yes they are a little tinny, but they are also smaller than a golf ball. I have two, they can be paired together for stereo. Perfect for throwing in a bag for a trip to listen to some music. Looking to get them as stocking fillers for my kids.
Amazing and surprising sound
I bought thins because of a deal, because honestly, I can’t really be sure when I would use this, but it’s so cute and I’ve been tempted for so long that when it came on a very cheap deal, I succumbed.
Well the sound is really surprising for the size and genuinely impressive.
I can imagine it would be fun in the park or at a friend’a house or even in the bathroom, but as I generally use headphones out and about or have smart devices in every room, (except the bathroom – tho i do have a shower speaker) as I say, it is a bit of a surplus toy for me. I won’t be able to comment on the battery life, but I was happy to see that I could pop it onto a wireless charger to juice it up.
I didn’t try the camera remote shutter but i actually think that is a feature I might use at some point.
Trouble once paired
Loud and clear sound. Lovely a tiny. Only problem is when I paired to another speaker (I bought two) the sound isn’t so good on one of them but works ok on its ow
It does more than adverted. In the sense that I get an hour longer play time.
For it’s size it packs a big punch. I love it so much I have purchased a total of five.
Overall the speaker is good for it’s size. But don’t listen to other reviews. The quality is muffled, and I only listen to highest quality music at 350kbps. The bass disappears and the vocals are slightly suppressed. I have an Iphone 11 and the speaker isn’t much louder than the speakers built into my phone, therefore you won’t feel a massive difference. However, the speaker is built from durable materials and it’s very easy to use. If you really want to try this speaker out, then look somewhere for cheaper prices as it is not worth 20. If you have any questions, just ask, as I will give you a brutally honest answer about this product.
As per most of the other reviewers here, I’m blown away at how much sound this little speaker can kick out. Battery life is excellent too. It last the whole of my working day listening to music.
I’m running Linux on an iMac, and there are no drivers for the internal sound. So I am using this over bluetooth instead.
The only downside I’ve found is that I can’t get the internal mic to work. It is recognised in the device tree, and is available though the GUI, but when attempting a video call the other party could not hear me. I checked inside Skype, and the VU meter doesn’t move either.
This isn’t a showstopper for me as I have other computers to call from, but it’s a point to note for others. I suspect that it would work perfectly in MacOS/Windows but I’ve not tested to confirm.
