Arrived very well packaged. Very easy to install. Took ten minutes to put into a 2009 Tiguan. This battery was recommended to me. You can get slightly cheaper makes,but why compromise on quality.
Larger ampage battery
We bought this battery to replace the one supplied by the manufactures of our Peugeot 108 . As the car is not in daily use we found that the battery was soon going flat in winter. This is the largest and most powerful that would fit in the tray, the car now starts straight away. Don’t know about longevity as only just purchased but being a Bosch should be good. The supplier promptly dispatched the item which was well packaged the hold up was with Parcel force who had the package for 4 days before sending out for delivery then failed to deliver on date supplied on tracking .

It’s exactly the same as it’s made by Varta ( D15).
Great piece of kit too early to say how long it will last but has the right pedigree to do so. Came in three days well packaged, don’t forget to remove the yellow travel bungs.
Good price for a good battery
Battery was delivered unbelievably quickly. For some reason it wasn’t fully charged. Luckily I have a charger, so I charged it before fitting into my car. I needed a new one as I was going for quite long journey crossing 7 countries. I really hope it will be as trouble free as it was during the first 6000 miles.
Bosch S5005 is not a type 005 but a 027
fit is smaller than expected because its not a 005 type as I skimmed the description states Bosch S5005 I thought was 5 year guarantee and model 005 its a Type 027 further on in the description ???????? Why call it a S5005 and not an S5027
Not 100% sure
Not totally sure I was delivered a new product or if this is the nature of battery recycling. What I received wasn’t boxed and terminals had plenty of score marks. Having said that it turns over the engine much better than the depleted unit it replaced.

Fitted much more easily than expected in my Skoda Roomster (which I believe is installed in the same way in a VW Polo) and worked immediately without any issues and no problems after 2 months. I also encased the battery in a cover to protect it in the winter. The plastic terminal covers had snapped off my original fittings.
