This bag is ideal for using as hand luggage without having to pay any extra charges on Easyjet flights.
It fits absolutely loads in and has a few different pockets and compartments too.
Well made, easy to carry and no extra charges = perfect flight companion:-)
SAVED ME £££s - Unseaming after 18 months
This bag genuinely must’ve saved me hundreds. Whenever I see someone else walking around with one of these at the airport, I know they mean business. This bag pushes the absolute limits of the most money-sapping airlines out there (Ryanair, WizzAir) and I have not had a problem once. This thing 100% does not fit in those luggage measurement boxes, however, its concealed on your back, so as long as they don’t notice it, you should be fine. Saying that, I’ve managed to squeeze an extremely full backpack into one of the racks. Just don’t have a go at me if your laptop breaks from trying to shove it in the space.
Unfortunately it is unseaming in the main compartment through to the smaller one. Oh well! Still useable! This is not due to its poor manufacturing either, I have literally filled this thing to the brim multiple times.
Its definitely not the most comfortable backpack but you’re using it to not pay for extra luggage. Best one out there. Been to Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Spain, Austria, Bosnia, Montenegro no problem at all. Never been asked to put it in the measuring bin, used it for several week-long holidays, and can certainly manage ones for half a week. Just don’t expect to bring a spare pair of shoes.
Good quality
Very impressed with the size and quality of this rucksack. I was going away for 4 days and didn’t want to pay for hold luggage. Was worried I wouldn’t be able to get enough stuff in but was pleasantly ! Very comfortable to carry on my shoulders. Loved the many pockets, and adjustable straps. Highly recommended.
This bag was a great surprise. I didn’t expect much, but it’s actually a great finding. It seems small but you can fit a lot inside, good for a long weekend away. It fits perfectly the Ryanair/Easyjet carry-on bag measures. The fact that you can use it as a backpack and a little trolley is really helpful. The wheels are really small, so wouldn’t use it as trolley for long distances, but having the option is great. Good padding as well and really cute overall.
Lovely design, handy pockets and tons of space. Very strong stitching and seems durable. Perfect for carry on baggage. Easily stows under the seat in front of you. I fit almost enough stuff for a two week holiday so my daughter and I could share one checked luggage item saving us money. Seems reasonably priced after searching through many similar bags. But it was the leafy pattern that swing it in my favour.
So this bag has clearly been made to deal with Ryan Air’s ridiculously limited free bag allowance. It’s perfect for short trips of 3-4 days as long as you are only bringing the necessities. If you’re going somewhere for longer then you’d best just pay the extra fee to cover a suitcase, since no 20L bag can contain everything you’d need.
Pros:
* You can fit a lot in this bag. On my last trip I managed to fit 4 day’s worth of clothes, toiletries such as toothpaste, sunscreen etc in a large toiletry travel bad, a small laptop and numerous chargers and I still had space left over to store souvenirs on the way back.
* It’s durable and the material used feels high quality. I have no doubt that I’ll be using this for years to come.
* The back part is well padded so you won’t feel any sharp edges in your back as you carry it. A common problem in cheaper bags. The shoulder straps are also well padded and don’t have any sharp plastic parts, so you barley realise you’re carrying it.
* The zips have holes big enough to get a small padlock through. Which is really important for using in pickpocket hotspots.
* It’s one of the cheapest around for getting around Ryan Air’s bag restrictions. A one time purchase of this bag is going to be cheaper than repeatedly paying their luggage upgrade fees.
Cons:
* It’s a smaller than normal bag. For daily use you’d look a bit silly using it, especially if like me you’re taller than 6 foot in hight.
* It’s not very secure on its own. It’s very easy to open the outermost compartment without the person who’s carrying it noticing. I wouldn’t trust this compartment for anything that has monetary value. The larger inner compartment without the straps clipped together has exactly the same problem, so If you plan on using both then my advise is to buy 2 small padlocks to go with it.
* The zips open right at the bottom of the bag. Small items that fall to the bottom of the bag like keys or pens can fall out if either the zips are left slightly open or get opened as you’re carrying it. For future revisions I’d recommend that the manufacturer just have the zips open 90% of the way down to the bottom of the bag instead of all the way.
I know a lot of the cons make this bag sound poor but when you consider that it’s one of the cheapest around and any security concerns can be delt with using a small travel padlock from your nearest pound shop, it really is a great value little bag.
The Cabin Max Metz 30L Carry On Travel Backpack has been an absolute game-changer for my travel adventures! This sleek and versatile backpack ticks all the boxes and has made my trips more enjoyable and stress-free.
First and foremost, the size and design of this backpack are spot-on for airline travel. It fits perfectly within the carry-on size restrictions of major airlines, including Easyjet, and even slides easily under the seat, providing convenient access to my essentials during the flight. Say goodbye to bulky overhead bins and searching for space; the Metz backpack offers a hassle-free travel experience.
The 30L capacity is surprisingly spacious, allowing me to pack all my travel essentials efficiently. I’m impressed with how much I can fit inside while still keeping everything organized with the multiple compartments and pockets. The main compartment is roomy enough for clothing and personal items, and the separate padded laptop sleeve keeps my tech safe and secure.
The comfort of the Cabin Max Metz backpack is unparalleled. The padded shoulder straps and back panel ensure that even when fully loaded, the weight is distributed evenly, preventing any strain on my shoulders or back. I’ve worn it for long periods, and it never feels uncomfortable or cumbersome.
One of the standout features is the high-quality build of the backpack. The durable materials and sturdy zippers give me confidence that it can withstand the rigors of travel without showing signs of wear and tear. Additionally, the water-resistant fabric has protected my belongings from light rain during unexpected weather changes.
The attention to detail is evident in the little extras like the top grab handle, which makes it easy to carry when I need a quick grab-and-go option. The side compression straps are also handy for cinching down the bag when it’s not fully packed, keeping it compact and streamlined.
The Cabin Max customer service has been exceptional as well. They promptly answered my pre-purchase questions and provided helpful advice, ensuring I made the right choice for my travel needs.
In conclusion, the Cabin Max Metz 30L Carry On Travel Backpack is a must-have for any frequent traveler or adventurer. Its compact size, spacious interior, and thoughtful design have made it my go-to travel companion. I highly recommend this backpack to anyone seeking a reliable, comfortable, and well-designed carry-on backpack that meets airline regulations without compromising on style or functionality. Kudos to Cabin Max for creating such a fantastic product!
I waited until I returned from my trip before reviewing this, I have not been disappointed. I traveled to Italy for 5 days and flew with Ryanair.
This back pack is deceiving and fits in so much more than I expected. I put together a capsule wardrobe with mix & match items and put them in a small vacuum bag – 2 x trousers, 1 x long skirt, 3 x tops, 5 x knickers and a swimsuit. I took 1 x pair of wedge sandals and bars of product to save on valuable liquid space. Headphones, airport bag of liquids and a small wash bag with other essentials.
The front pockets are great for documents and other little bits you want secured like make up brushes etc.
It is so comfortable to wear and compact that you still have plenty of space under the seat in front of you on the plane to stretch your feet out. There is no stress of rushing to the gate and queuing for ages to ensure you get your case above your seat, you can sit and watch everyone else queue then casually stroll to the plane at the end because your bag just goes under the seat in front of you.
Brilliant bit of travel kit, love it 🙂
