Mounted to a flat(ish) surface on the dash, this holder is pretty secure and holds my phone with the included magnetic ring fairly well. It would be even better if there was more than one ring included but these can be purchased on Amazon inexpensively.
There is also a round flat disc with VHB tape (or equivalent) to stick to your dashboard if you have a textured surface. Additional mounting is also available with a clip for use with the airvents if you have one that is sized and shaped appropriately. It was no good for my VW Up! round vents as the clip was too short to be held securely.
The claimed 15W charging will depend on two things, the state of charge of your phone and the power of the USB port/adaptor you plug it in to.
I’ve not managed to get 15W charging but that could be my phone rather than anything else.
This charger is great – very easy to fix and charges well. I had to buy a new case for my phone as my current case did not allow enough of the magnetism to attach the phone and the phone kept dropping off the charger when driving, but this is not a problem with the charger – just some advice. Buy a Mag-safe compatible case at the same time. Otherwise I am extremely happy with this charger.

I realise just how privileged I am being a Vine Voice but sometimes you have to request items so quickly that you don’t read the blurb properly. Mea culpa on this one, since it doesn’t fit my iPhone XR.
Positives: It’s easy to install and use, either via a suction cup or an air vent. Fixings for both methods are included. The instruction booklet is well written and informative and includes lots of diagrams. The item offers an impressive 36 month warranty and, as is often the case with Chinese suppliers, they are keen for customers to make contact if there are any issues. The quality of materials and construction are very good.
Negatives: Unlike me, you need to ensure that the item is suitable for your phone, ie. iPhone 12/13/14 series only. You need a ‘Magsafa case’ or no case to use the charger.
My experience with car charging mounts has been hit and miss. More often than not, the suction cups fall off the windows, the glue dislodges from the dashboard mounts in the summer and the vent clips never stay put.
However, having just received my new iPhone 15 pro after 20 years of being an Android mobile user, I was keen to make use of this new MagSafe technology.
This product gave a good variety of options and I figured I would go with whichever works best. I started with the vent clip option as my dashboard is curved and I’ve never been a huge fan of wasting window viewing space for mounts. The vent mount is honestly fantastic, it clips right around the vent blade and then you secure it by screwing it tight. It’s powered by the supplied usb c cable which connects to the usb a port in your car or a cigarette lighter usb charger. The mount is so solid and sturdy and the ball joint allows for tweaking to find the perfect position once you’ve mounted your phone. The magnet strength is strong and my phone clips on with a secure sounding thud and is held firmly in place. It’s so wonderful not having to faff around with cables anymore! Charging performance appears to be great.
So I didn’t need to try any of the other mounting options as I’m perfectly content with the sturdy vent mount. I can’t fault this magnetic car charger mount!
Driving and maintaining a charged phone is a daily challenge. Using this wireless charger in my car, I immediately noted its magnetic prowess – my phone remained unshaken, even on the roughest terrains. The four mounting options catered to my preferences perfectly, letting me choose the most comfortable view. A minor yet crucial observation, the 360 joint ball provides fluid motion, a factor I’ve struggled to find elsewhere. One point of contention, however, is that it would’ve been preferable to have the QC 3.0 adapter included. Yet, the fast charging feature does its job efficiently.
I have previously had a cradle type phone holder in the car, but not tried a magnetic one before, so thought I’d give this one a try.
The box contains the main magnetic charging head, the suction cup mount, an air vent clip mount, a self adhesive disk for fixing to any surface and a magnetic ring, as well as a USB-A to USB-C cable and the manual.
Since my dashboard is a leatherette textured vinyl finish, I did not thing the suction mount would work and did not want to permanently fix the self-adhesive plate to it, so I opted to try the air vent clip, which fits easily and is secured by a locking ring. The problem I had was the shape of my air vents, meaning that once the clip was fitted, the vent could not be opened, closed or adjusted. I then decided to try the suction cup on the dash board anyway, as it had a slightly sticky coating on the actual suction cup. To my surprise it fixed firmly to the textured surface and so far has shown no signs of coming loose. The suction cup mount can also be fixed to the windscreen, and is fully adjustable for angle and also reach.
Once the cable is connected, it is a simply matter of placing the phone onto the magnet and it starts charging automatically. There is an LED on the corner of the charger head that it white when power is on, and then turns green when the phone is charging.
I have tried this mount with my wife’s iPhone 12 Pro max which has an Apple magsafe case, and also with my iPhone 14 Pro max, which has a Quadlock magsafe case, both of which work fine and are held firmly in place, even on some very bumpy roads.
What is also worth noting is the magnetic ring included in this item, which can be stuck to the back of a phone that is not magnetic but does support wireless charging. This isn’t particularly clear in the item listing and isn’t even mentioned in the manual.
Worth also remembering is that this item is for charging a phone only. It does not provide any connection to Carplay, as this would need a cable plugged into the actual phone.
Overall I am impressed with this phone holder, and the various mounting options make it pretty universal.
In car charger for the air vent able to hold your phone in place and charge at 15watt the item is helpful and easy to set up think it should be around the 20-25 price tag.
