This is nice and bright but does have dimming setting, sturdy too so does flop down like some, 3 light settings white, natural and a mix of both (Pics not loading on atm)

Easy to adjust, bright, good value for money.
At 15 this is pretty good small table lamp. The quality of the product is sufficient, the cover of the light source does not feel very sturdy to the touch however as long as it avoids rough handling or accidental impacts, the lamp should endure regular use without issue.

In terms of brightness, the light emitted is sufficient for comfortable reading, making it a suitable addition to a bedside table or attached to the edge of a bed. The cable length may be on the shorter side, but it aligns well with the lamp’s intended purpose of bedside use.
Adjusting the position of the light is a breeze, although the mechanism might not exude an extremely robust feel, it proves to be strong enough for typical light use.

Considering its performance during testing, would I invest 15 in this product? Absolutely. Despite the minor concerns about the sturdiness of the light cover and adjustment mechanism, the lamp fulfils its purpose well.

    Nice dimmer options
I bought it as I wanted the remote control feature, which seems to be working fine. The shades of light are quite nice at the warmer dimmer end of the scale. I forgot it doesn’t come with the plug, just the USB end which was a shame but fair enough, I just forgot! Good long lead and clips onto the wooden rail of a bunk bed well.

    Good product.
Easy to use and good brightness, it looks simple design but works great, remote control is easy to use too, so far so good, no problems with it, sturdy and adjustable, the quality is good, very pleased.

Could shine a light on its current draw...
In many ways, this is a good light. I can’t spot any flicker, and with five versions of white from ‘cold’ to ‘warm’ and five brightness levels, you should be able to find one that’s the one you want.

It doesn’t inspire confidence that the colour chart here is wrong: the lower temperatures should be the yellower ones, not the higher, though.

You need to have a USB A socket to plug it in, but the question of which will work safely and reliably is unclear. The description here says you can plug it into a laptop etc, but a slip tells you not to.

Some quick maths says that if the max wattage in the description here is right at 6W, it needs 1.2A which is more than the rated value of a lot of older USB chargers and more than many USB A ports on devices want to supply. The box reckons it’s 1A, but the box also reckons it can do three versions of white rather than the five it actually does.

Argh, I shouldn’t have to get a USB current display to find out what it actually needs.

The build quality is mixed: the arm doesn’t flop about while being flexible, but the diffuser cover for the LEDs was half detached on mine (it does mean I know how the various sorts of LEDs are arranged!) and the clip at the base which protects the wire up the arm from tugs was open rather than stopping it from being pulled excessively.

Finally, there’s a blue LED light by on/off button on the control that’s lit when the light is off. You might find it useful for finding the button in the dark or a pain, even though it’s not particularly bright, but there’s no option not to have it.

It’s good, but it could and should have been better.

    Bright & Versatile
Having recently had my side lamp by the sofa break, this has been a really useful replacement. I use my laptop on a table at the sofa, and this clips securely to the table. The neck is sturdy and infinitely adjustable to focus the light where I need it – towards the keyboard screen for easy typing, my hands if I’m doing art/crafts or poised to light my face if I’m on webcam.
The adjustable light temperatures and brightness is really useful to create more ambient lighting or to optimise it for the activity. I generally prefer slightly warm light, but more of a daytime temperature is really useful for artwork, where accurate colour perception is more important.
It’s been really convenient for the purpose I’ve used it for, and it’s easily moved if I want to use it for reading or crochet in bed, and I’ll be using it a lot in the car when we go micro-camping, as it can be easily and firmly clipped to handles above the doors to light the entire car, running off the power station without drawing much energy from our limited supply.

Nice desk lamp but not very tall
This is a great little lamp, better than what I was expecting to be but just a shame it’s not taller. The neck is flexible allowing me to direct the light where I want it but it’s only about 39cm (neck excluding the actual light) long so it’s better suited to desks with a laptop rather than a desktop PC like mine though this hasn’t bothered me much as I was able to clip it onto a unit next to my desk. The clamp is very strong and was able to open wide enough to just about fit to my IKEA Malm desk which has a 5cm thickness. I wouldn’t recommend clamping it to something as thick as that though as the foam on the clamp would probably get ruined but it held onto my desk fine before moving it.

The buttons to contorl the light are on the cord which are pretty easy to figure out without resorting to the manual. The top button adjusts brightness, the second button cycles between the 5 different colour tempratures, the third button is for setting a timer and the final button is to power on/off. Very easy to use. The only thing that got me reading the manual was to figure out how to use the timer but pretty straight forward and only ned to read it once to know what the lights mean – timer light blue 0.5H, green 1hr and red 3hr.

The power cord is only about a meter so not very long but I have it plugged into an extension plug so hasn’t been a problem for me but overall happy, brighter than I expected it to be.

    Loving i
I can’t fault this. Seems to be very well constructed and the articulated neck lets you raise, lower, twist and turn it to your heart’s content. The spring-loaded clip is big enough and strong enough that you don’t worry about it coming loose. For power it needs to be plugged into a USB-A power outlet.

Mine’s clipped to a shelf over my desk and throws light over the main work area very nicely. The control switches are mounted on the cable about 1/3 of a metre below the clip. There are buttons to control on/off, brightness, light colour (warm/cool) and finally a timer that let’s you set it to switch off automatically after 30m, 1h or 3h if you want to be reminded to take a break.

It’s a well designed and well thought out light. At 15 it’s not the cheapest desk lamp but it is definitely worth the money.

    Just what I needed
This is one of those things that I didn’t realise I needed until I saw it and figured out how useful it would be! No more wandering around trying to find the right light to read either small print or the details from a card, this lamp gives more than enough and it’s right there where I need it most!
The lamp has a very strong clip which requires some strength to open but means that it will hold fast. It’s very useful that it has a snake neck so I have been able to position it just right for me and use the settings on the in-line control to get the brightness to how I both need and want it to be.
By attaching it to my desk and plugging it into the USB on my PC, it was ready to go out of the box, so simple for such a useful thing

nice light, but lead a bit sho
This light is a lovely shape and I really like the different light colours, ranging from a muted amber, which is easy on tired eyes, to a very bright white which I find useful when looking at fine detail. The shape and size of the light is about perfect and the clip that holds it on to the table is nice and tight. It isn’t going anywhere once it’s in place!
It drops one star for me for a couple of reasons. The control for the light is in line and the buttons on it are quite small. They’re fine for me, but my hubby who has larger hands and worse eyesight than me, struggles a bit. The other negative thing is the length of lead between the control and the USB connector, which is less than 1m. This means that the light has to be quite close to the socket if you don’t have an extension. A minor niggle really, but I find it a bit inconvenient. I guess if you plug it into your laptop or PC, it will be fine.

    Conflicting informatio
A brilliant variable light source on a robust flexible stem enabling accurate positioning over a task, however the USB connector cable has a label attached which warns – ‘ Do not connect the device to a computer ( PC, Laptop etc)’. This completely contradicts the web site which states in the notes – ‘USB cable can be plug into available USB port (laptop/desktop/power bank/USB adapter)’ and in two graphics headed – ‘Ways to Charge’- which clearly indicate that it can be powered from an adaptor, power bank, PC or laptop. I see no reference to this anomaly in previous reviews, so I can only assume most customers are using an integral USB port on a PC/laptop without any problem. Possibly this label was attached by mistake during assembly, but conflicting product information such as this, is inexcusable and only serves to cause confusion and concern!

    Love it.
This is more than just a reading light 🙂 It’s actually my night light now. It’s super bright. I love that it has a remote control so I don’t have to get up to switch it off when I’m already tired in bed 🙂 It’s super bendy so I can place it anywhere, it’s really convenient. Would definitely recommend it. The brightest mode is so bright, it lights up my entire room. When I don’t need as much light, I can just dim it from the remote control. Excellent product.

Nice desk light, I liked it a lot, the downside for me was the blue LED staying ON when light is OFF
I used this desk light for a little while, I did like it, very nice and flexible, allows the top to be rotated to pretty much anything position I wanted to, the system also comes with 2 controllers; one built-in onto the cable itself which is very handy, and another that can be used to control the system remotely, I personally didn’t find it useful to have the remote-control mainly because I only switch it on/off when I am on my desk, others might find a good use for it, nothing negative there nor affects my score, just not an accessory I would use.

What I really didn’t like about the unit and why I’ve knocked one star off is the blue LED light staying ON on the dials when I asked the lights to be switched off, in today’s modern world the slightest LED can costs a lot of money for Energey bills when added day-by-day, I would rather have it all OFF when I don’t need to power on, I don’t like anything blue staying which also does not help when I like to focus in a dark room sometimes.

    Good product overall.

    Useful desk lamp
If you like to read or want to shine some light on a project then a flexible desk lamp like this is ideal. The gooseneck design and clip allows the lamp to placed almost anywhere.

In the box you getting the lamp, a remote and some documentation. The lamp is reasonably well made and can be controlled via the flex mounted control box. Power is supplied by USB and it provides good illumination. If you’re feeling a little lazy then you can always use the remote to set the brightness and timers.

Overall a useful versatile lamp that can be used on a work bench or at the bedside.

Good reading lamp with a range of features.
I like using this lamp because it’s flexible and delivers light to suit most situations. 10 levels of light can be chosen from. Six colour temperatures can be selected, from cool to warm.
The flexible neck is 45cm long which means I can position the light easily over a book or some craft work. The spring clamp is very strong and will grip shelves up to 5cm thick. However, the lamp won’t stand up by itself without clamping on to something.
The cable has a USB-A male plug on the end and is 200cm long. You get two controllers, both with identical control buttons: one on the cable 50cm from the lamp base; and one wireless remote powered by a CR2025 coin cell.
Because the lamp is not rechargeable the cable has to be plugged into a standard USB-A socket on a phone charger, PC, extension or other suitable power supply. (It can’t be plugged into a mains 240V supply without an adapter.)
The quality of the lamp is good and the price of 16.99 very reasonable. The packaging is marked with UKCA, CE and FCC logos to show the product’s been safety tested.

    Brilliant ligh
This is a fantastic light, it has a really strong rubberized grip that won’t scratch whatever it’s clipped onto and has six different temperature colours. The stem is quite long but very easy to manipulate and bend to almost any angle that you require. It’s a nice and bright lamp as well, making it perfect for anything from sketching to reading. It has a nice shape of smooth contours and no sharp points and has a small control panel that gives you all the options you need. On top of this, you get a remote with numerous functions as well.

All powered by a USB-A so can be plugged into almost anything be it an adapter, port on your extension lead or computer.

What makes this light so good is its price, I think for 16.99 it’s already a bargain but there’s a 30% voucher making it considerably cheaper on an already great price. Very happy to recommend this light.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA really nice versatile USB powered light.
For 16.99 ( at the time of review ) this is a couple of pounds more than the cheap alternatives, but I think it is worth it.
It has a decent length at just over 2m with an inline control for all the settings. Other than this is also comes with a remote control.
The clamp coped well with my table, which is 5cm thick, although this is about the maximum.
The neck is around 43cm and very flexible, it also holds its position well without any of the ‘ springiness ‘ you can get with cheaper goosenecks so is easy to position accurately.
The lamp is about 12cm long and provides a good spread of light.
You have 10 levels of brightness as well as 6 different colour temperatures so easy to find a comfortable level.
It also has a timer, which can be set to 4, 8 or 12 hours. However I never used that as it is easy enough to switch on and off as you need.
You can get an idea of the brightness levels and colour temperature from my video.
Overall am impressed with it and have no problems recommending it.

Does deliver on the tech side
It does deliver on the tech side of things, and it does it in a big time, so apart from having a timer (not sure why) it also has a remote …again for a lamp that barely lights up your laptop/book why would you need a remote…but not fair on me to pick on things .. I just do not get it.
The lack of 1 star is that at the only department that it should come through .. it’s barely coming through which is the lighting part.. slightly dim even on the highest setting cold light ..which is the brightest …it would still be ok for a laptop or a book I would say but that’s about it.

    Great addition to my desk
This lamp is very convenient for a small desk or a bedside table, where space is an issue. It can be attached to a horizontal or vertical surface with a strong clip that gives good support and doesn’t slide. It has a variety of different settings for colour warmth and brightness, as well as allows to set an automatic timer for 4,8,12h of work. This lamp can be controlled by attached controls on the cable (that is long enough to reach the socket) or the wireless remote control. Overall a really good and helpful choice and I can highly recommend it!

I have this clipped onto my desk at home and what I love the most about it is that it is bright enough but can also be dimmed. You can change the hue and you get a remote control meaning doing all of this is easy to do.
I think the height and flexibility are definitely plus points too. All in all I’m very happy with this lamp!

This is a very flexible light.

It has a very sturdy clip, which is slightly different from the one illustrated in the blurb. This will attach to an average sized desk and has a couple of small sleeves to protect the surface.

It is extremely versatile with a variety of intensity and colour settings. I particularly like the remote control feature — ideal for the bedside.

    It is pretty stylish too.

    Versatile
I really like this wee lamp. It clips to the side of your desk and is flexible enough to direct onto the documents you want to read.

It comes with a wide variety of brightness/warmth settings so you can make the lighting as harsh or gentle as you want it to be.

It comes with a remote control. A little superfluous given that the lamp is in pretty close proximity. But it’s there if you need it.

I really like this and find it very effective, I’m not a fan of the office lighting and this gives me my own customisable environment.

    Versatile and space-saving.
This LED reading lamp is so handy for clipping onto different surfaces when I am using my computer at night. It has 6 colour modes and 10 brightness levels and can prevent blue light damage to the eyes.
USB powered, it is controlled by a mini-remote, so light can easily be adjusted to various levels of darkness. It also consumes less power than other normal lamps and devices, and has a timer function which automatically turns off when the set time is up.
The flexible gooseneck makes it easy to adjust and direct the light exactly where needed.
Good quality, convenient item and not expensive.

Perfect for the desk or as a reading ligh
This is an LED lamp which will be suitable for the desk, the bedside or as a general reading lamp. It has some great features to suit all these applications.

The light has a good strong spring-loaded opening of up to 4cm so should fit most tables/desks/shelves and the insides of the clamp have soft rubber pads to protect the surfaces.

The lamp has a 60cm long flexible soft touch body which can be angled to suit and is stiff enough to avoid it drooping when angled low and away from the clamp. In use, when its angled downwards to the desk it will have a working height of about 50cm.

The cable is 2m length and is plugged into a USB input from the power source, such as a computer or direct into a USB mains plug.

The control method is either by the-line pad or by a small remote control pad. I favour the remote pad but either method is quick, easy and intuitive to use.

    Controls are:

    ON/OFF
Colour temperature: 6 modes from cool to warm
    Brightness: 10 levels
Timer: Can be set to automatically switch off after 4, 8 or 12 hours.

Overall it’s a great quality, versatile light with exceptionally well made/designed clamp and easy to use controls at a great price.

Elegant and bright, with useful options and no gimmicks
Really quite elegant. I’m using it faced toward the wall for ambient lighting. Appreciate the long neck and generous cable. This replaces a broken ring light I used for similar purposes, but this goes brighter, with a more steps (6!) between warm and cool. Easy to use controls, and handy remote. I needed to plug it in with a power adapter—it didn’t work going straight into my power extension USB ports. I might have preferred it in white, but that’s just a preference. Excellent value—really cheap for the quality.

Can be used for reading, crafting, painting or anything you need a bit of extra light for

Clips on to the table really well and feels nice and sturdy
The neck of it is nice and bendy and can be bend into position of choice with ease

The brightness and colour can be adjusted numerous times which is great as the brightest setting in the evening is very bright, great for adding details to paintings for me but also can be turned down if too much – depending on preference

    Versatile adjustable lamp.
This comes with a remote control and instructions.

The lamp is controlled by either the remote or the controls which are on the cable. The cable is a good length and likely to reach a power socket for most people.

The brightness and colour warmth can be set as well as a 4, 8 or 12 hour timer. Oddly it remembers the brightness but not the colour warmth when you turn it off and back on again.

The clamp is pretty basic but functional. It has rubber jaws to help grip and protect what it’s clamped to and can probably open up to about 4 cm.

Overall a nice bedtime reading lamp which at around 14 at the time of review with a voucher is priced well.
