Good value for money. I haven’t used the highest heat setting as the medium heat is enough to help with my back pain. It automatically shuts off after 30 minutes but the residual heat lasts for a long time after that which helps make the battery charge last longer. Very happy with my purchase.
It’s so easy to strap around your back. The charged battery lasts and lasts. The vibrate is a bit loud but in your own home it doesn’t matter. It has continuous and pulse modes. When 30 mins are up it turns off all programmes in use but just turn it on again. Even the support of it on its own has been helpful.
Don’t know if I can get a refund ?
PS: I now wish to retract the statement given above regarding stopped working….as I have since retrieved this Item from my Mother and has found that the power pack has a button on the side to activate which has solved the problem of not working.

Only had it 2 days, but so far so good. Decent charge. Love the heat and the massage is nice too. I bought it for our holidays, long car journey, to help relieve the stiffness when getting out after sitting for several hours at a time.
First impressions of a great product which brought instant relief to a very painful hip were great, but the first belt became faulty within a week, the replacement belt became faulty after one use, 24 hours after delivery. Only great when they work and continue to do so .
Good heat levels and comfortable to wear but the vibration massage is very loud the same as an other review and if you use for any length of time you need to charge the batteries every day.
Extension belt secure. Good value. Lightweight when in use. Battery pack does not last long but can be used with any pack. I use one with a meter extension lead so I can slip the larger battery pack into a pocket or place on a nearby table.
The highest setting is too hot through a t-shirt, that’s how hot it can be.
Not full marks for comfort as no belt is going to be completely comfortable, but it’s not uncomfortable and does fit well under clothing.
The battery pack lasts a few hours, which is great for long car journeys or being out and about for a while.
I can’t comment on the massage feature because it has not been used as it is not suitable for the type of back pain.
I have only been useing this product for 24 hours but so far I am mightly impressed. The heat settings are more than adequete and the controls sensitive and immediatley responsive. My first reaction to the massage mode was that it was to rigouous but after a trial run I found the pain relief was superb. Thank you. PDF
It is not washable, so best not worn next to oily skin, hence the (thin) vest. The massage function works, but if your back is very sore you may find just the heat more comfortable. The 30 minute auto off function works, but would be nice it I could adjust it. Wearing it under a shirt makes getting to the control buttons a bit awkward. There is a belt extension for those challenged of girth, but it fits a 36 or 38″ waist without using the extension.
This heat pad does all it says it will do. The three heat and massage settings give you flexibiliity of use and the battery pack has a very good time span between charging up times. So a good and practical piece of kit. The manufacturers, Comfytemp, also provide a very courteous and helpful assistance with any questions I had about its workings and use.
I love the fact this rechargeable, it means I can get on with my day while enjoying the heat and soothing massage. Easy to use and comfortable to wear, it’s lightweight and so a great replacement for a hot water bottle.
I love the 3 heat settings and the different massage functions (it’s more like a big Tens machine vibe) , the massage like does each side alternatively is lovely. The material is soft and comfortable. This was one of the more expensive options but I think it’s worth it to help with pain / discomfort. My only gripe is the battery pack really doesn’t seem to last that long. It seems to charge super quickly but the battery time isn’t so good. You couldn’t use this on sat a long train / plane journey unless you had some way to charge. The massage function has a huge vibration so if your sat very close to someone this might really irritate them !
It’s good quality though.
Bought as a gift for my better half! I had to try before giving it to her to make sure it was ok!!
Heat – compared to my plug in heat pad, unfortunately this does not heat as well.
Massage unit is ok; a bit noisy, however does give a bit of relief.
Comfort – the belt itself is of good quality material, soft next to the skin.
If I was buying again I’d like to see improvements in the heating element and placement of heat.
