Definitely keeps drinks warm!
This is the first cup I have bought that actually keeps drinks warm for hours! I know it’s a wee bit pricier than most but you really do get what you pay for with these cups.
They are really easy to wash too, always a bonus.
No spills either as you press the button when you are ready to take a drink.
Travel mug
I like the size and have around 3 variants from the same maker, the other click lids always leak after about 6 months and the seal breaks, this type never have this issue and will last a good few years.

Been using it every day since I had it. Fits very well in the hand. But it does only keep the drink hot for probably three and a half hours. I’ve Knocked. It. over a couple times. And it didn’t spell a drop. overall, a good product.
It took me 8 times to find a flask that suited me.
This is great for people that has 3 things in 1.
1, This is great that you can almost fill to the top.
2, it’s non spill, (it has a button that you press to drink).
3, Easy to hold.
4, it has a button to completely seal the flask while in transit or outside.
Hot hot hot! Great purchase.
Only used for hot cups of tea. Keeps the tea very hot, so i have to leave the lid open for about 20 mins before closing it up. After closing, i get approximately another hour of hot tea. Used for a couple of weeks now and it hasn’t caused any odd taste to the drinks. Coloured mugs cannot be washed in the dishwasher, and caution should be taken when handwashing. The colour hasn’t faded or scratched so far by following these cleaning requirements.

Lovely design, with great colour choice. Easy to use and seals well. Particularly like the lid, can fold out the inner workings to wash thoroughly, without this then cleaning would be problematic.
Keeps drinks ho
I’ve bought three of these over time and they are great. The leakproof lid means I don’t need to worry about tea spilling inside my bag and it keeps it hot for a few hours. The only negative is that the finish is easily damaged/scratched but the leakproof lid means I will still buy again.
Ok so this product is really good and doesn’t leak. However I did find when I used it , even with the top removed it took a very long time to actually cool down to suitable drinking temperature, I want to say maybe around 2 hours. Although this does keep drinks warm / or cold unfortunately a bit too warm for too long for me
You need one of these
I have had 3 or 4 of these now over the years and wouldn’t bother with anything else. They take some serious grief in my line of work and these are faultless. they keep my tea hot enough to drink for 4 or 5 hours if needed.
I can’t praise this enough. Get one now!
If, like me, you like your coffee hot then this is the item for you.
So many travel mugs keep your coffee hot for about an hour or so. This one keeps it hot for sooooooooooooo much longer. Don’t believe me? Then buy one and try for yourself.
I found that, after pouring my drink into the mug and replacing the lid, if I did not press the button to drink, then the coffee stayed hot for up-to 5 hours. It may well be longer, but by then I was getting caffeine withdrawal so for my sanity I started to drink.
Once I had started to drink the cup kept the contents hot for about another 45 minutes. Constant opening of the leak-proof slider meant more colder air was getting inside but it still remained at a decent temperature for drinking for a further 30 plus minutes.
This was NOT a scientific test but it was one that verified the claims made on the purchase page.
I am extremely happy with this product and am happy to recommend it.
Used every day
My wife and I both have these and I use mine often twice a day but at least once every day of the week.
Perfectly holds a double coffee from our bean-to-cup machine which keeps me going most of the day.
My only slight criticism is that, probably because of the design of the lid, it does not keep the contents hot quite as long as my previous sealable flask (I don’t generally pre-heat the flask). However, this one is MUCH easier to drink from, especially in the car. Also, though larger, it still fits in car cup holders (though it stands a little tall of course).
Sturdy, clever design with easy to use mechanism – push button release on the ‘spout’ at the rear of the mug, keeps hot drinks hot for a decent amount of time, enough capacity for around 2 “normal” full cups of coffee. Definitely recommend.
Buy now if you're in need of a cup
Initially dubious about the product and price, but the amount I have spent on crappy cups over the years does not compare. I can get from 7amish to 3pm and my coffee will still be drinkable, certainly not boiling but drinkable.
My only issue is the product is that good it keeps my drink too warm. Often I forget this and end up burning my mouth as it’s still piping 2 hours later. (can’t have it all really, eh)

Really good, doesn’t leak when you forget to keep it upright, only down side which others have mentioned is, as it’s so good at keeping your drink warm it can be too warm for you to drink..

Typical Contigo product. Does exactly what is says it will do. Just choose your colour and pay the money. You will not regret it. My wife lives hot drinks rather than tepid ones.
Been looking for a decent insulated mug that doesn’t spill since having the kids as any open mug either gets cold before I can get to it or risks being spilt and hot liquid and small kids isn’t a great combo. I’ve tried many brands with varying success but bought this one 6 months ago and it far outstrips all others – keeps genuinely warm even outside in winter for many hours and doesn’t spill even if knocked over or loose in a bag and falling about on its side etc. Brilliant.
One of the best. It keeps drinks hot, it seals properly so there are no leaks and you can drop it in a bag and trust that the liquid isn’t going to go everywhere (unlike some others). It’s nice to hold, and the latest design shape is great. Word of warning the matt finish version is good, but I didn’t like the gloss version as it was a bit more slippery to hold (and didn’t look as good as the photos).

After the 1st one I ordered didn’t arrive. I was disappointed. But Amazon was very quick to send a replacement. Its s great travel mug. Perfect for me at work.
Have had this got months now and love it. Keeps things hot for a long time, easy to drink from on the go and I appreciate the button press and the lock that make sure it won’t leak when not in use – so far no leaks! The lid is dishwasher proof which is the fiddliest bit to clean, so I’m happy to hand wash the mug itself, seems like a small price to pay for such a good product.

It doesn’t leak
This is my second one,after the first one disappeared, it doesn’t leak, I’ve tried in many conditions at work,bouncing around,up and down, rolling around the floor, it still works, The only bad thing ,cleaning the top, not easy, duo to the mechanism inside .
Good and fits in car cup holde
Keeps hot. Only problem is the button is a little stiff to press to get the drink out but overall is great. Even dropped it from an height a few tomes and no damage!
I have wanted one of these travel mugs for ages however they are rather expensive but I finally decided to treat myself. I work from home and have lots of virtual meetings back to back, therefore with all the talking going on, my tea was always cold before I finished it! This travel cup keeps my tea hot for the whole morning, which is a joy when I have not had a chance to drink it in one sitting. I have had no issues with leaking or washing the mug after use either. The best travel mug I have ever owned and would buy again in a heartbeat.
It’s a great cup. It’s shape allows you to grip it comfortably. The extra lock on the lid makes it easy to carry in a bag without spillage and is a safety feature if it’s close to a lap top or keyboard and gets knocked over. The written instructions are hopeless, but the pictures show you how it works. The lock button is like a light switch with a padlock design, easy to use. Unlock it, grip the mug and press the vertical button, this unlocks the flow to the mouthpiece, drink. The instructions don’t tell you how to clean the lid and it is a bit fiddly as ideally you need a small bottle brush to get to all the parts. Inside the lid, the grey clip pulls back showing the inner small mouthpiece which also comes out further for cleaning. It then just folds back and clicks into place. So I’ve given 5 stars for the mug for heat retention, style, ease of use, being spill proof, but only 3 stars for ease of cleaning because of the mechanics of the lid, but I’d buy another nonetheless now that I’m familiar with it. Overall its a good product.
Fully leakproof and keeps your drink hot for ages! Gamechanger for me
It’s worth mentioning from the start that my last travel mug was a plastic one from Costa. I never really expected it to keep my drink hot but I would use it to take my morning coffee in the cup holder on my bike or wheelchair. It spilled a little bit so I would never have my full coffee when I got to the office.
So I looked for a new one, preferably more leakproof. This contigo mug definitely IS leakproof, I can confidently turn it upside down and nothing will come out. The flow is good and a bonus is that I can take my time with my drinks as they don’t cool down as quickly. I often forget about drinks and get sad that my coffee is cold, but now I don’t have this issue, they stay hot for a good few hours. It has a really convenient button in the lid that allows you access to everything you need to clean and then clicks back into place when done.
Fully worth the price.
Much impoved lid design over previous model makes this a great flask for hot drinks
Bought as a replacement for an older model Contigo flask, and the improvement is huge. The old one has a basic screw top lid with a rubber seal around the inside of the lid. After washing it one time I realised the seal had come out of the little groove it was in. I pushed it back in to place, but as the seal is square rather than cylindrical it did not sit back in the groove properly. I tried tweezers and a small tool kit but could not rectify this. The inevitable result was that the flask began to leak. This was unfortunate as in every other way the flask was great. I am very pleased to say this new model improves on this design fault and totally eliminates any leaking. The lid is totally redesigned with quite a complex mechanism inside it, but the result is a completely sealed flask with no chance of leaks. There is a lock for extra security, and I often find the flask flat at the bottom of my lunch bag, or even upside down with not a drop of coffee anywhere in the bag. It also keeps hot drinks hot for several hours. I make my coffee at 7:30am, and it is still warm at 1:30pm when I have my lunch. It is quite pricey compared to most other flasks, but it is worth the investment in my opinion.
