The colourful LED lights add a fun and vibrant touch to the overall experience, while the 200+ sounds and reactions bring the robot dog to life.
One of the standout features of the DOG-E is its ability to communicate through its tail, thanks to the innovative persistence of vision (POV) technology. This adds an extra layer of interactivity and engagement, making it feel like you’re truly interacting with a real dog.
What sets the DOG-E apart is its app connectivity, allowing you to play games and delve deeper into its personality traits. The app provides a seamless and intuitive interface, making it easy to control and navigate through different features and activities.
I highly recommend the DOG-E Interactive Robot Dog. It’s a perfect combination of fun, education, and technology.

Super cute and fu
This interactive puppy is great fun and has been a source of joy for my daughter.
It’s easy enough to set up, we downloaded the app to my daughters Ipad and she loves being able to feed it etc using the app and also interact with it without the app using its inbuilt sensors which are really reaponsive.
The dog itself is designed really well and is super cute.
It’s currently on offer at 75 which i think is a great price for this little pet.
Great quality fun robotic toy to play with
This robotic dog looks great and is great fun to play with. The interactive nature of this toy stands out. It is brightly coloured and can be customised using the app. I love the tail letting you know the dog’s needs. It is a nostalgic product having bought one (not as versatile as this one) in the early 2000’s so brings back some good memories. Great for kids and adults of all ages
Great toy to get the kids away from screens
I have two kids aged 3 and 5 and this has been gifted as a joint present for them both – yes I’m brave like that ha.
They immediately loved the thing, before it was even switched on so as they learnt all the cool features, such as the tail telling you what it needs, it being able to play with the toy and needing to be stroked they just got more and more excited.
I’m yet to show them the app that I’ve installed on my phone for now, but once the novelty of interacting with it in the way they are wears off I’ll be showing them that too.
Happy to recommend, it’s good fun and I’m enjoying watching them run around with it in the house, beats them being sat on YouTube for an hour!
I have memories of being desperate for a certain high end Japanese branded robo dog in the very early days of the centenary, and seeing this took me back to lusting over them but never having the money to be able to actually get one!
Now 25 years later I have something very similar. What a treat!
Great for kids and big kids (me) alike, this is a fun toy to have. The quality isn’t amazing but I am enjoying him all the same.
It’s a lovely idea for a gift, perhaps for a child who isn’t in the position to have a living pet, this might be a good substitute?
Woof!
As a technology enthusiast and an avid pet lover, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the DOG-E 1691 MINTiD Robotic Dog. Designed to be an electronic pet and app-connected companion, this delightful robotic dog is aimed at children aged 6 and above. In this review, I will share my personal impressions of the product, highlighting its features, functionality, and overall appeal.
The DOG-E 1691 MINTiD boasts an eye-catching design that exudes a charming and playful personality. Its compact form factor, complete with wagging tail and movable head, is reminiscent of a real dog, eliciting an immediate sense of connection. The build quality is excellent, with sturdy materials that can withstand the rigours of playtime and ensure durability.
One of the standout features of the DOG-E 1691 MINTiD is its app connectivity, which allows for a more interactive and immersive experience. Through the companion app, users can control various actions and behaviors of the robotic dog, such as walking, barking, and even performing tricks. The app also offers additional customisation options, such as changing the dog’s appearance or selecting different play modes.
The robotic dog’s responsiveness is impressive, thanks to its built-in sensors and intelligent programming. It can detect touch, sound, and motion, allowing for realistic interactions and responses. I found the voice recognition feature particularly fascinating, as the dog can understand basic commands and engage in simple conversations, providing a sense of companionship and engagement.
Furthermore, the DOG-E 1691 MINTiD comes equipped with an array of sensors that enable it to navigate through different environments, avoiding obstacles and adapting to its surroundings. This feature enhances its playability and ensures a seamless experience for young users.
The DOG-E 1691 MINTiD is designed with children’s safety and entertainment in mind. It features rounded edges and uses non-toxic materials, providing peace of mind for parents. Moreover, the robotic dog offers an opportunity for children to develop a sense of responsibility and empathy as they care for and interact with their electronic pet. It can serve as an educational tool, fostering creativity and imagination through play.
Our little one loves her robotic animals and the DOG-E 1691 MINTiD has gone down very well. I’ve generally observed that robot dogs seem to vary from being very (too!) simple to massively complex in terms of ai and it’s setup and the Dog-e seems to sit perfectly in between the two due to its complimentary mobile app that cuts out a lot of the hard work.
I really like how customisable DogE can be and the level of interactivity that brings as it really adds to the depth of the toy. A lot of that depth comes from the app, where there’s anything from simple controls to tamogotchi like feed and treat games. That does mean having little one tied to an app as part of play time but thankfully this does get the balance right between the real and digital worlds.
The build quality is thankfully very good too – Dog-E looks, sounds and feels robust and moves around surprisingly well on our carpets compared to some of the cheaper alternatives. Overall very happy with DogE!
