Plenty big enough for me to be well covered. Granted I’m only 5ft but I also sat with someone who’s 6ft and we were both under with no cold spots.
Takes longer than I expected to heat up and I find that I have to put it up to the maximum but once it does heat up, you’re going to be hot. The blanket itself is actually really cosy – I sit with it over my lap every day and it’s cosy, and that’s without it even being turned on.
I also took it through to my bedroom and put it over my duvet, which was bliss.
Really happy with it. I’m always cold so it’s a dream for me.
Great Idea
Bought when I saw on TV how little such blankets cost to run, against having the heating on. I love how little electricity it uses -( only pence per hour according to my smart meter) so you’ll find me comfy on the sofa and catching up on missed TV.

None of the internal wiring can be felt externally and the power lead can be disconnected so you can put the throw in a washing machine.
My, sometimes, grumpy partner really did not want one of these but when presented with it on a very cold night watching TV, I could not get him out from underneath it!
I bought two smaller size throws – but two people on a small sofa could probably get away with one bigger size.
Soft and comfy heated throw
This heated throw is is very soft and luxurious. A great buy. Has 9 different heat settings and can set a timer on it up to 9 hours. Fabulous throw for price. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely blanke
I ordered this electric blanket for a friend’s birthday. She is so pleased with it. She said it is so warm, great size and good quality. She would definitely recommend. I would add, that it is great value for money.

Lovely thick fur lined blanke
Absouiute game changer for me. This blanket is lovely and warm. I have nt gone above 4 on settings. No heating on while watching tv, I chose this one based on reviews. I’ve looked at a fair few. So far so good love it.
I love this blanket! It’s thick and plush and lovely quality, The control is very simple to use and it warms up nicely especially the longer you leave it on. I was so pleased with it I bought one for a present for my son’s fiancee. Highly recommend.
Why did I not buy one of these years ago?
I bought this because I work from home and I am tired of having to choose between spending a fortune on heating or being frozen. It’s only day two with this blanket, but already I’m hugely impressed. I spent the day at my desk working and felt toasty warm rather than freezing cold. This really is a revelation! It’s soft and comfortable and provides a lot of warmth even before you turn it on. If this were to stop working, I’d buy another one for sure.

If, like me, you’re retired from work and not always active it can get pretty cold during the day and turning on the heating can rapidly run up your bills.
This little beauty wraps itself around you and within a few minutes you are toasty and warm and the heat setting needn’t go above the halfway mark to do so. It’s ideal for lazing around on cold winter days and the running costs will not hit you hard, certainly not when compared to heating your whole house.
I have to say I find the cable and controller to be a bit cumbersome but it’s not bad enough to knock off a star.

I bought this for my elderly Mother.
The first time we plugged it in the error code came up. We turned it off and tried again and it worked.
However it wasn’t may uses after that the error code displayed again and the blanket would not heat up.
It was a lovely soft, snuggly blanket but sadly mine had a fault.
It was returned via the Amazon return facility which is excellent. My payment was refunded with no problems.
Good weight to blanket so keeps you nice and warm even when off like the texture of underneath part! Does not get hot hot more a medium at its fullest!

I nearly bought an electric blanket last year to keep warm during the day working from home, but thought they were a bit expensive and consequently spent the winter freezing cold trying not to put the heating on or plug in an expensive heater. After speaking to a friend I decided to try one, and after looking at options, plumped for this one.
I couldn’t be happier with it, best decision ever! I didn’t realise it would be so effective, on the highest setting it can feel too hot! I went for the bigger size so I can wrap it around me and there’s plenty of room, you don’t want it too small. The fabric is beautifully soft and cosy with a good thickness, and the dark grey colour gives it a smart look. The controls are easy to use and feel good quality, with 10 heat settings you can get the temperature just right depending on your needs. It is quite expensive but it’s very good quality and definitely does the job.
I have the electric blanket between a sheet and a thin blanket. I wake up a couple of times during the night to find the blanket has slipped down the bed and I have to keep pulling it up again.
Also, the controller light is always on when the power is on. The light is annoying when you like a dark room.
However, the earth supplied by the blanket and the overall comfort on the bed is excellent.
I couldn’t gauge from the images how soft the product would be, but it surpassed my expectations, it’s really silky & smooth. The colour is also exactly what I was looking for, it matches the rest of my furniture perfectly.
It’s pretty thick so even when it’s not plugged in, it keeps you quite warm. Although I’m writing this in September, not the middle of winter.
I turned it on to the highest setting straight away as I had a feeling the lower ones wouldn’t be warm enough based on some of the reviews on here. Even at its hottest setting, it’s really not that hot. I have an electric blanket for my bed that gets very hot & this throw is not even in the same league. That said, after some time, it does start to heat up your overall body temperature & does keep you warm.
Overall, I’m not sure that this throw alone would be enough in the middle of winter – I think something a bit more heavy duty would probably be better; however, for the price & the quality of the fabric, I’m relatively content & wouldn’t return it unless it breaks.
I’m a fairly small person so it covers me ok, but if you have a larger frame, this probably wouldn’t be big enough to wrap around you.
Good quality product you can tell by the feel and sturdy controls. It’s super comfy and a good size for one or two.
I originally bought one for my parents who feel the cold but it was so snuggly and warm I had to get one ahead of chilly nights and mornings or lazy afternoons on the sofa easy to use and warms up very quickly. Nice weight to it. Deffinately recommend
Well when I opened the box i thought to myself just the job, good quality blanket well packed quick delivery so couldn’t wait to try it, first let me explain I have health problems and always feel cold so I thought this was the ideal solution to keep me more comfortable while sitting reading a book ect but unfortunately once plugged in and set temperature at 5 thinking just over halfway should be fine, very little difference so tried it on full power got wrapped up and again very little heat so basically as far as I’m concerned not fit for purpose, I thought to myself maybe it’s just my condition so I left it on the bed for 2 hours and called my wife to see if she noticed any difference, she said there was a bit of heat transfer to the bed and try leaving it on for a while (she didn’t know it had been on for 2hrs) so she wasn’t impressed either. I my honest opinion it’s no better than a decent blanket so I will be returning it, it could be a faulty item but with the results I’ve had think I’ll keep trying to find something suitable. (Quick update since I wrote this review,I have been contacted by the seller and I have been really surprised by his considerate replies he has really wanted to help with the problems I had with the item and immediately offered a full refund or replacement, when I explained it could be down to my health conditions and not the throw and I had already sent it back to Amazon so obviously couldn’t send to him to have it tested he wished me luck finding something suitable that would work for me. Very nice of him, and today I received another message from him saying even tho I have received the refund he was sending me another blanket free of charge in case the first was faulty) so in conclusion this seller really does care about the products he sells and the customers satisfaction so buy with complete confidence..So the new throw arrived today and to be totally honest I didn’t think it would be much of a change, I unpacked it and plugged it in set it up to number 8 and got wrapped up I only put it on for an hour and honestly I had to turn it down to 5 it doesn’t get over hot but the weather was good today but I was more than happy with the item, obviously the first one was a faulty item otherwise I would have kept it but the difference is like chalk and cheese really pleased with this and the customer support is fantastic, thank you so much for your kind gesture.
