Good filament, let down by photo
I always try to buy filament on cardboard spools for environmental reasons. The photo and general description made me believe that’s what I’d get. However it has come on a plastic spool. So be aware of that if you are like me and like to be more conscious about the environment and only use cardboard spools. (Ivory White).

Great, but not as red or sparkly as I expected
I used this filament on various models, printed on a Bambu X1 Carbon; it adhered great and was nice and smooth. No jamming, or spaghetti! However, it is a much darker red than pictured, and whilst it does have some sparkle, it’s not as obvious as other filaments I have used.

    Great quality, bad winding.
I really like this product. I’m enjoying its quality, the way the spool is rolled, and the printing experience. The build adhesion on the stock Ender 3 V2 “carborundum” plate is great, and the filament itself is partly transparent, giving a cool look to prints when either done at a higher quality, or a lower quality. Anywhere in between is fairly opaque, so keep that in mind.

The problem I faced with this is, while the spool is wound excellenty, there is rather sever twisting in it that I cannot untangle easily. This means that I’m going to have to babysit my next few prints and be ready to pause the print if it snags. And it definitely will snag. It’s almost as if it’s been braided in there, and it has caused a Gordian Knot of sorts.

The filament is a bit “sticky” as well. The additives that have been put in has cause the filament to stick to itself, and you can hear when the Extruder pulls a new length out. It’s not severe, by any means, and it helps prevent the spool coming loose when removing from the printer to be locked and stored, however it adheres like nothing else to my nozzle, and my nozzle went from being near brand new (it’s been used plenty with many different filaments) to being literally covered in red. I’ve had a few blobs come because of this, and neither heated nor cooled, I cannot remove the thin film that has accumulated on the nozzle. Thankfully, the extruded material seems to want to stick to my build plate and the already printed material better than the nozzle residue.

I would’ve rated higher, if only the spool wasn’t tangled, in an otherwise perfectly wound spool. My prints are turning out excellent.

Pox affected silver prints. Update - all perfect now
    2nd Update 4.5 stars
Bought 3 black rolls based on the success of silver, glitter blue and white. Oddly the black filament leaves a rougher top layer finish, almost large scale abrasive to the touch. The other colours were smoothly finished on the final layer. Had some spitting and hissing issues (steam in the nozzle) as moisture got absorbed from they air when we had massive rainfall a month of so back. Made for a ruinous temperature tower! I bought a 40 food dehydrator to dry it out which worked. 2nd roll of black appeared to be brittle. I had 2 prints fail almost right away on the 5th layer due to the filament snapping. I was having breakfast one morning (printer cold and off) and I heard a twang, looked around and the filament had just snapped outside the extruder (direct drive!! Prints fine but for the rough layer and the occasional random snappage.

    Update… 5 stars
    Great filament including the silver!
I tried the sparkly blue after the blobby silver and it too was blobby. Investigating more it soon became clear that the hot end was leaking up the threads and this was causing the blobs! All this was being hidden by the silicon cover. Check out “leaky nozzle” from the well known video site to see how to fix. Basically when you screw the nozzle in leave it sticking out a fair few turns, screw in the heat break and only then tighten up the nozzle. No more molten plastic leaking out both threads.

Now the hot head has been fixed the white, silver and sparkly blue have all now printed wonderfully and I’ve upped my rating to five stars. I highly recommend and will continue to reorder Evryone filament going forwards.

    Original review
dec2019 silver filament. Colour wise it looks great. The white was 3D print perfection (5 stars). The silver is not! It produces molten blobs everywhere. Tried a range of retraction length/speed settings – made no difference and retraction was off for the white filament. These large blobs create an audible twang as the nozzle pings them on the next layer. If your prints footprint area is low it will likely detach the partial print off the bed. This happened a few times.

    Perhaps a duff silver batch?

I’m in a dilemma now, do I order more of the white that was great, or will it this time around be potentially as bad as the silver!

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersBuy it for the price or buy it for the quality, makes no difference.
OK, so Ive been using this filament for a few days now and I have to say that is certainly fulfils my needs and exceeds my expectations.

I had been having problems with my Creality CR-10S printer for a few weeks now and was unable to get a reliable print. This is mainly down to the settings of my printer not the filament, so as you can imagine I was reluctant to start using this as I feared I would not get a good print. However, I gave it a try and immediately noticed a difference. Stringing was reduced. However, I reduced my temp settings to 190 (The minimum this filament it claims to work well at) and voila, all stringing was gone. This is sompared to a slight stringing with my regular filament.

Now, Ill be honest, I havent tried using premium filaments so I cnant compare this to the “big boys” however, this has performed really well for me. What you have to remember is that if you get a bad print it could be the filament but equally it could be any one of lots of other settings such as bed leveling, temp, flow rate, o, the list goes on. However, this filament seems to be quite forgiving.
In addition, because they are an Amazon seller I can have this delivered to a locker close to my place of work, so I dont have to worry all day if a courier has thrown my package over the fence, not been able to deliver or not even bothered trying.

So, my thoughts before I tried this?
Well, at 14 a 1kg roll compared to 20 for my regular brand (Which in itself is quite cheap) I thought I would carry on using it as long as it worked). I mean, 6 a roll is a MASSIVE saving, in fact its a case of buy 4 get one free….effectively.
However, I will not be continuing to buy this because of the price. I will continue to buy this because its a good quality filament.

Buy it for the price, buy it for the quality, makes no difference.

I spoke to Eryone before I bought this and asked them a few question and Ill summarise the answers.

    Why is this so cheap?
Well, its cheap because Erone make and sell their own filaments. This means that there is no reseller taking their cut. This means that the savings can be passed on to you the consumer.

You only have two colours. Are there plans for more?
The reason they only have two colours is because they are a newish company. They have started off with the most sought after colours and in the future they plan to introduce more colours. I have suggested they introduce purple as I like that colour LOL

Do you have a facility to give away free samples so people can test the product or colour?
After explaining that the supplier I regularly use gives away a 10M free sample with every spool sent out in a colour of your choice Eryone thought the idea was nice and they would certainly look into the idea themselves. Now, at the price they are selling their filaments Im not sure if they would be able afford to be able to do that.

    CONCLUSION
I am more than happy to make Eryone my number one supplier for filaments. However, as they only supply black and white at the moment Ill only be able to get that from them. Ill continue to use my previous supplier for coloured filament but for blacks and whites these are now my number one “Go-To” suppliers.
