For 38 at time of purchase this monitor stand is, to my mind, exceptional value. Supplied flat pack the packaging is quite extensive to ensure it arrives undamaged. Each corner has plastic corner protectors and good use of polystyrene packs out any spaces and helps protect the product further. It is then a case of assembling the unit, which is much like building any ikea furniture. Once built I am very happy with the products function and versatility. I especially like the raised part for your laptop screen to sit that little higher than a single height stand. The finish of the product (oak in my case) is what you’d expect from a laminated wood type finish. You know it is not wood but it looks fine. The product is sturdy and offers a few different ways to use it should you wish to change your setup in future. The only negative for me is to do with storage options below the monitor. The main piece is quite long so it needs a 3rd support leg which is situated in the middle towards the back of the unit which does limit depth for any items you may wish to store beneath your monitor.
