Game changer!!
So, with having a triple Apple product, I no longer have to prioritise which one gets charged first – now so can charge all 3 at once or maybe just 2 at the same time. Either way, it’s been fantastic and so easy to use. Charges really fast too so that’s always a good sign. Thanks guys
Bought this charger to charge my iPhone and Apple Watch on a single device. The device itself is beautiful, and looks extremely well made, so first impressions were excellent. It is easy to place the phone on the stand, and charges it quickly.
My only issue is that it won’t charge the watch reliably. Placing the watch on the stand causes it to initially start to charge, but after a seemingly random length of time (ranging from a couple of minutes to 15 minutes) it stops charging, the battery starts to discharge and the watch gets extremely hot.
The Watch charges without issue on other devices, so isn’t the problem, and I’ve tried an array of different plugs and cables, with no noticeable effect.
Other than this the device is excellent, so I’m very disappointed that it doesn’t function as I hoped.
****Update****
I gave this item 3 stars because it didn’t charge my Apple Watch, and it seemed to get dangerously hot. I was trying to use this charger with the original Series 1 Apple Watch. When I bought the charger the listing said it worked with all models of the Apple Watch. I have just noticed that the listing has since been updated to say it only works with Series 2 and above.
I have actually recently upgraded my watch to the new Series 6, and this charges without issue, so I can now charge phone and watch at the same time.
I am now much happier with this purchase, and have actually ordered another. I’ve updated the review to 5 stars.
