Fun and creative
This is such a fun set to have. My daughter enjoyed making many different designs and it was a lot of fun for her to use. She very quickly got the hang of it, sticking the different designs together and wearing it out.
She made some for her friends too and they all seemed to be wearing it, which to me is a big hit.
There’s a lot of different things to connect to it making it great for inspiring their creativity.
Nice activity to keep the kids busy
I ordered this as a stocking filler for my 6 year old. There are 6 headbands included with various different charms, 4 ribbons and sticky dots.
There is enough of each item to keep a few kids busy for an hour or two but there is only 1 of each type of charm so you may find you have bickering over who wants what.
As this set doesn’t include the use of glue, you can leave a 5/6 year old or above largely unsupervised with it.
Overall this is a nice litte activity set to keep kids busy for an hour.
Great gif
This is a great crafty gift for any headband loving little one. You can make 6 headbands and the sticky dots are super sticky so the charms do not fall off easily which is great.
I have 2 granddaughters aged 4 and 5 and this is suitable for both of them,obviously they will achieve different results but they are both able to create their own headband.
There are enough charms and decorations for them to choose from which is a good thing because they are both at the age where they think more is best.
The decorations are stuck to the headband by sticky dots which are very sticky and should last.
The box that it comes in isn’t that inspiring, but it’s the contents that are important and as it’s priced at 9.99 its good value for money considering that you can create 6 headbands.
The main thing is the time spent with my grandchildren which is priceless.
Lovely gift for older girls
This is such a lovely set. There are 6 headbands so not only would it be ideal for the older girl in your life, but also as a party craft idea. The charms are varied, from hard plastic ones to softer material pieces. This would make a lovely gift or as an activity for parent and child to complete together.
Multiple headbands to decorate
Young girls would love having to make their own headbands. There are multiple headbands to create. Can be done by one person or a group of girls. This is easy to use, makes girls get their creative side out. Can be given as a gift as well.
Not too complicated or fiddly
Good item for girls aged 5-9.
Plain headbands with sticky items to put on them.
Not as fiddly as the bangles/bracelet kits with the billion coloured discs to thread.

This set comes with 6 plastic headbands that are about 1cm wide, but it only comes with 4 ribbons that fit onto the band I really think there should be 6 otherwise you may find yourself refereeing who gets what.
There are sticky dots that you place onto the headband and then there are a lot of charms and flowers to put onto the bands. This will keep kids occupied for a few hours whilst they are creative with their designs.
I’m not sure whether they will wear their headbands more than once (the day they make them), but if they play dress up it may be a princess headband with their dress, their not particularly robust but they will enjoy them initially!
If these were priced slightly less and had 6 ribbons it would have been 5 stars, but due to lacking them I have knocked a star off.
Great colourful set, perfect for a 5-7 year olds
My daughter had great fun with this set and it passed an hour of time. The gems/adornments are easy to apply with sticky backed tabs (so no glue involved!)
There are number of pretty little things to add to the bands. A really nice, quality craft set.
Great craft activity
This came packed in a very small box so I was surprised it had everything in it that it did. You get lots of hairbands (these are plastic and a little sharp but still ok to wear) and the parts to decorate them. You get lots of pieces to decorate them with and it’s a great activity for two aswell. The colours are bright on the hairbands and the pieces to decorate with look well made. This is a good half hour activity maybe longer. Would recommend.
Lovely craft set - advise getting a better glue or use hot gun glue with adult assisting
My Granddaughter is super excited about this set, she adores headbands. The kit supplied has 6 headbands decorations and ribbons to decorate them with. Glue is provided, however I’m not sure the decorations adhere very well and they may fall off. I would suggest changing the glue to a better one or, if an adult is available to help, using a hot glue gun.
Pretty and arty crafty
I remember decorating hats as a child. This is prettier and headband are always useful for little girls.
Butterflies, flowers and even starfish and other aquatic bits for a little mermaid.
Half term Boredom buste
An ideal set that can be put aside for a rainy day or sleepover with plenty of bits to keep each one individual and entertain at the same time. Perfect stocking filler or emergency gift this Christmas
This is a good craft project to keep girls of about 5 to 10 years old occupied for an afternoon, although whether they will wear the headbands more than a day after making them is yet to be seen. (I suspect not, but the point of the project is to do something creative rather than to make a lasting heirloom).
There are plenty of charms to choose from although there only seems to be one of each type so that might cause a bit of conflict if you have two or ore people making the bands at the same time. There are six bands in the box but only four ribbons so don’t have more than four people doing the project or the fifth and sixth will have to go without a ribbon. (They will still be able to decorate the bands with charms, but again, some conflict might arise.
The sticky dots are easy to pull off their backing paper, which is an excellent feature since I’ve often spent hours just getting sticky things off their backing paper with previous projects because it was too difficult for the little ones to do.
However, the sticky dots are extremely sticky, which means the charms won’t fall off any time soon (a good point) but also that it’s more or less impossible to get them off if someone makes a mistake in positioning a charm or simply changes their mind about where it should go.
The blurb talks about a ‘beautiful box’ but it’s just a cardboard box with pictures of the bands and charms on it – fine but not, to my mind, ‘beautiful’.
Whether or not it’s good value for money depends on how much it’s worth to you to have a peaceful afternoon when you’re looking after several young girls 🙂

This is a really lovely hair band making kit that is great for girls who like to be creative and make their own things with a variety of items to use when making the hairband gems sparkly items you can get a good variety of designs going.
