Expensive but novel – I bought a second set having liked the first one. The build quality is very good, installation ad pairing is straight forward. The number of scenes built in make using it easy and it looks good from out of the box – I have them behind translucent panel curtains which makes the effect better by diffusing the light. The shared scenes features opens up the possibilities to what anyone out there creates. Given the hardware seems to be well spec-ed, I hope Govee adds more features in the future!

 

I purchased the outdoor bulb lights and have been toying with these mainly due to the crazy 120 price Tag (goes to 160 when not on offer). Yes the colours are good but at the end of the day it’s 120 for a 1.5m x 2m lights curtain. The size itself isn’t logical as most UK homes have a wider window with a 1m or so drop rather then the other way round. The app is cool but when using the lights inside it’s hard to make out what’s going on. They only really work outside in total darkness and from a distance.
