These lights !!! Wow - worth every penny !!!
I was a bit sceptical but these lights are fantastic. I have them strung across my courtyard and bought them to give a bit of Christmas spirit but they’re never coming down. The app for them is amazing. The colour combinations are endless and that you can choose from many many stunning preset combinations or set your own is really fun. You can time them or control them via app. You can even set them to pulse with music. Im a tech novice but it really is easy. I’m obsessed will be buying more. Highly recommend.

I purchased these to put on my tree in my front garden. I tried them out in my living room and they’re far too nice to put outside. They’re brilliant so easy to set up and use on the app. I got these when they were on offer otherwise I wouldn’t have brought them as they are expensive but you get what you pay for. Still need some outside lights for my tree

Really love these Govee lights. easy to set up with the app on my phone. A lot brighter than I’d expected. Endless colour and pattern combination. Just wish I’d bought these at the beginning of summer. very recommended.
Fantastic string lights
Possibly one of the best things I’ve ever bought on Amazon. I was very impressed with these. Very easy setup. Wonderful colours and excellent brightness. The app offers both simple pre-selected lighting effects, or create your own. If I were to suggest any improvements it’s that the power chord could have been longer.
I bought these lights recently to put them over our table at the end of the garden, and overall I am very happy with the light they are giving. Its enough to have a relaxing evening, and since they can be dimmed, you can adjust them further. I have not tried any of the fancy programs that they come with, but they certainly provide me with the nice warm light I was after.
There are a few things that would make their use more practical. As mentioned by several reviewers, the UK plug is the wrong way round, so the power unit cant be directly plugged into an outdoor plug. In addition, the the “control” unit is not rated for outdoor use, so you either start your lights from under a roof (the cable between the control unit and the first bulb is not very long), where the electronics are protected from the elements, or you have to build your own little water poof enclosure for it (which I ended up doing). Not ideal for a system that is being sold for outdoor use.
The lights come with some hooks to attached them to a carrier wire, which is great and simple to set up, but since the light bulbs are much lighter than the electric cables connecting them, you end up with the lights pointing upwards and the cables hanging down. Time will tell if gravity eventually wins and brings the bulbs down, but for now the lights are the wrong way up.
