I have them on the back of 55′ tv and I love them.
Really good light display for enhancing your enjoyment of TV or Stereo.
I mainly use it to sync the light display, to the beat of my music.
But you can have a vast array of colours, both static, or moving.
The lights in the video are on 50% brightness.
I’m really happy with this product, and would definitely recommend.
Got the TV strips for an Xmas gift and was on Amazon the very next day buying these to go on my book shelves. Once all were synced together it was perfect. We put on the new Mario film to test the colours and were amazed couldn’t be happier with the product and couldn’t recommend it more. Definitely give it a buy.
Great light bars with the versatility to place anywhere by or on television. Easy to set up and the colours would suit all tastes from flashing like a disco or a subtle plain back-light. Really pleased with them. I bought 2 packs one for me and one for a relative and they were half price too which was a bonus. Definately recommended
I really like these TV lights. Great to set an ambience or to use with music. I have attached them to the back of the TV. So many light variations with the app. Still so much to try. Would recommend
I bought these to add a bit of atmospheric lighting to the living room, very pleased with the result. works great with Alexa and the app has lots of pre programmed settings. I use them all the time instead of the main light.

These are really simple to set up. There’s a traditional wall wart type power supply which plugs into a small control unit and then the lights (which are joined on the same cable) also plug into the control unit. After you’ve installed the Govee app on your phone or tablet, simply press the pairing button on the control unit and within less than a minute you can get them set up in the app.
Whilst the app itself is very versatile in terms of being able to control each light independently, including setting the colours and relative brightness of each segment and saving your own ‘scenes’, I do find it a little non-intuitive in places. You can set both light bars to either white (continuous choice from cool to warm white) or RGB mode, but not a mixture. They are extremely bright in white mode at 100% brightness and will easily light up a room. In RGB mode you are able to either set all segments of the bar to a single colour, or indeed choose individual colours for each segment. You can also have different combinations of colour and brightness for the left and right bar. Once you’ve configured your favourite selection of colours and levels, you can save this as a scene. The app also includes many built-in preset scenes, as well as some lighting effects that change colours automatically. There’s even a sound operated mode that will use the built-in microphone of the control unit or your phone to change the light patterns on the beat.
It’s also easy to control these from your favourite smart speakers. After installing the Govee skill on my alexa app, I was able to fully control the brightness, choice of solid colours and switch them on and off from my smart speakers. The lights will remember the last setting, so you can set a colour scene in the Govee app with mullti-colours and then just turn them off and on, or set the brightness, with an Alexa command.
Overall these are the perfect mood light for a larger screen TV and I would thoroughly recommend them.
Already had a smart TV light attached to my TV but was just not good enough, was a little on the dim side when lit up. These Govee smart lights on the other hand are not dim, both in the light brightness department and what they can do when hooked up to the APP or alexa.

Got these on offer, but would still recommend at full price.
It comes with multiple stand for either mounting on your TV / monitors or you can simply stand them up either side or behind them for roughly the same effect.
The brightness is great but not amazingly bright, BUT that’s a good thing. When watching television the brighter the ligh around it the more distracting it can become.
If it was too bright it would simply not be as good and with close proximity to a wall would cause hot spots making the surrounding area look overly saturated.
It’s a very warm type of light that truly blends well with any colour of wall.
The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because of the way its powered.
With a wire coming from each light I’d prefer they didn’t connect together at the end making cable management a little bit of a pain.
In conclusion, you simply will not find a better price per led for an rgbic light on the market.
