This computer came on and set-up well, all the features are working. However, not sure why!! But it keeps going blank screen and I have to restart, this is causing me concerns as the internet is not down, not a lot of open windows, yet, it had gone blank 3 times since purchase in December……….
HP i5 laptop
It’s quick which is a real step up from my previous laptop.
Mainly use it for browsing and shopping online, but I know it’s capable of a lot more.

value for money
after using 2 weeks, the laptop can say very good and value for money. the setup when start the laptop was smooth. screen big enough to watch videos and play games. running very well.
for 300 quid this is amazing. i had a hp laptop before this one, it lasted 5yrs and i bought a new one bc the old one had always been slow.
for the price i expected it to be just as slow and annoying as my old one, but its not! its fast and i can do my school work on it. i even downloaded ts4 and a lot of mods onto it and it ran smoothly!

Great laptop but....
This laptop comes with windows 11 S mode pre-installed which means you cant download any apps unless their Windows apps, this includes security features like McAfee. We also found that this version of Windows 11 really affected its performance, slowing everything down and making it non responsive at times to the point we thought that the laptop was defective. However S mode can be easily turned off and this had an instant affect on the laptops performance.
I am really pleased with laptop I have a work hp laptop already which is smaller but heavier, this is very light, the keyboard will take getting some used to as I am not sure to the key sizes/ or shape maybe.
I am struggling with accessing the free Microsoft account- should I have received a product key? It is asking me to sign up with only 1 month free but I bought the laptop on the basis it came with 1 year Microsoft subscriptio
