This dash cam is easy to set up and easy to use, I like that it’s not too big or bulky and it sits well in the car. I’ve not had any technical issues with it and I feel it’s made well too because it’s strong, sturdy and durable. It’ll last a long time that’s for sure. The image quality is very good especially night time and it was easy to connect to my phone. It gives me peace of mind and the recording quality is spot on. I think it’s very good value for money and I do happily recommend it.

I’ve been using this dash cam for a few weeks now, and I’m quite happy. It captures clear and detailed footage during the day and has impressive night vision capabilities. The built-in Wi-Fi connectivity makes it easy to transfer and view footage on my smartphone. The accompanying app is user-friendly and allows me to manage my recordings effortlessly. The 360 rotatable lens is a handy feature that allows me to adjust the camera’s angle to get the perfect shot. This is particularly useful if I need to capture footage from a different perspective. The parking monitor feature also comes in handy, recording footage when the car is stationary and detects motion. While I’m overall satisfied with the dash cam’s performance, the audio recording quality could be better.

This dash cam’s compact design is ideal for discreet monitoring without obstructing the view. The HD quality and night vision technology capture clear footage, ensuring all details are visible. The built-in WiFi and app control are convenient for viewing and sharing footage. The reliable supercapacitor withstands temperature extremes, and the parking monitor feature adds an extra layer of security when the car is unattended.

I’m using this dashcam in the back of my car to help with lining my tow bar up with my caravan hitch.

The cable reaches from the front of my ford galaxy all the way to the back.

I’ve stuck it to the inside of the boot door, which opens upwards, so that when the boot is open the camera is looking directly down at the tow bar. This works brilliantly for hitching up and add an added bonus, the camera is pointing directly at my dog when the boot is closed 🙂

The camera hasn’t fallen off yet. I’ll update the review is there are any issues over time.

One thing I would say is that it’s no use as a reversing camera as the view doesn’t extend to the corners of the car.

This low-footprint dash-cam met one of my main dislikes about cams, avoiding all the paraphernalia of the larger-screen-in dash-cams, the cradle, cable and obscuration of part of the visible driving area, together with the need to take it off every time you left the car.
However, in the chase for size and price, some compromises need to be made. The build is very plastic and does feel not as robust as I would have liked – it is cheap, and it does look it.
The fitment to the windscreen does have a low foot print which means you can hide the cam almost under the sun-shade, but the adhesive means you cannot take it off and re-place / hide it, it also means that there is move movement as it is’ directly attached to the windscreen and feels more vibrations , which impacts on the image- not too bad, but it’s noticeable.
The Image itself is good, the night vision especially so- but you should be prepared that when in use, your are taking it on trust that it is actually is seeing and recording something as there is no screen to confirm that- which is something that I did feel less confident about, preferring to see the unit in action.
Given the location also, it is highly likely you will have to thread the power cable from the cigarette lighter around the dash-board and up the a-pillar into the headlining- there is a pry-tool provided for this, but it was a task sometimes but I did get to see lots of interesting nooks in my car.
You supply the SD card, make sure it has enough memory and speed as it does fill up quick. The set-up is slightly impaired by the you-tube instructions not being there, others are available, but not this one, muddling through will get you there, but it again breaks down confidence in the product when the first point of after-sales isn’t as advertised. Once installed, the joys of pairing and it’s own wifi overcome you can view the the real-time images on the phone, or play back, or you could remove the SD card and playback if necessary- it does detect and store immediately after sensing a significant bump so if the worst happens you would at least have evidence- that is if it had been recorded.
Be aware, if you do want this one, recording all the time, even when parks, it does need to be hard-wired to the car’s electric system as the lighter socket in most cars don’t provide power when the keys’ are removed- for many new-cars, that’s not an easy thing to do.
So does it work, yes-for me, does it free up space, yes. Would I prefer a larger, screen-in cam: Yes- but I wish it could be the size of this one.

As someone who spends a fair amount of time on the road, having a reliable dash cam became a necessity. I opted for this model due to its compact design and the promise of high-quality night vision. It’s been a practical addition to my car, capturing clear footage without taking up much space.
The integration with my smartphone is a feature I’ve grown to appreciate. Being able to control the camera and review footage directly from my phone is far more convenient than I initially expected. The footage clarity, especially during night drives, has given me peace of mind. It records details like license plates and street signs with clarity, which is reassuring.
The loop recording feature is another aspect I value. Not having to manually manage storage space is a time-saver. Although it’s not perfect — occasionally, I’ve noticed minor delays in the app responsiveness — it hasn’t detracted significantly from my overall satisfaction with the product. It’s a solid choice for anyone needing a dependable, non-intrusive dash cam.

I really like the way this camera looks and how tiny it is but this is definitely not my favourite camera for those exact qualities. This, however, is not the camera’s fault – I simply prefer the ones that shows you the screen and is nit running on bluetooth, G4 and all that.

The quality of picture is good but, of course, it can always be better. However, looking in this price range, this one is really quite an option.

The quality of the camera is decent and the setup isnt too bad to install. Slightly different to normal setup as it works on wifi from your phone.
This video quality is same as most of the cameras out there which is good.
The main issue i have is to have to connect to it everytime using my personal hotspot whenever i am in the car which after some time gets a bit annoying to have to do that. Otherwise it is a decent product if you do not mind doing tha

Even tho it’s not top of the range dash cam, it still does the same job. You download an app and sync it all up then install into your car and that’s it. So quick and simple.
App is very easy to use and you get good clear recordings
Camera itself is small and compact and of decent quality

A handy dashcam that is really fairly easy to set up and use ( once you had uploaded the app) – it’s not going to win any awards for picture quality or design but it is good enough quality even on night vision to record what is happening should there be a bump.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the price!

Dash cams have got a lot cheaper so this is only just competitive – considering that it doesn’t have a screen. The build quality is not that great but it it’s not terrible either. I got it as a rear mounted cam and it is well suited to that. I fitted a 64gb card but it will take larger. Picture quality is good enough. You can read number plates from recorded footage.

This dash cam arrived boxed. It is a black plastic and compact, and not bad to look at. There is no video feed to watch from the device, instead it is linked to an app on a mobile phone, which was very simple to set up.
I had issues attaching the camera to the windscreen using the instructions provided, and ended up adhering the camera directly onto the windscreen with the sticky strip supplied.
There is a booklet included which provides access to a video link to guide you through installation and it also gives details of the required SIM you need to purchase, which are quite inexpensive.
The whole process took about half an hour to set up the camera and install.

4.0 out of 5 stars No SIM card included

This comes with an instruction manual that offers a QR code to access a video guide. The QR code takes you to the company’s You Tube sight – but there is no video for the EY01. However there is one for the EY02 which is similar – though the EY02 has a rear camera which the 01 does not. Installation is pretty straightforward – though you do have to fiddle around a bit to get the wires out the way, but the guide does help to explain exactly how to do that. The camera is powered through your cigarette port built into the car.
The casing for this dashcam is plastic and is, as they say, quite small, so it does not take up a lot of windscreen space. There is an SD slot for recording but you have to supply and format your own card. They recommend that you reformat your card every month! This is in part because the video locks in the event of a crash, but the apparatus is so sensitive that you will get false locks which will bung up the video space.
The camera’s functionality is accessed through an app on your phone. I found the connection to be a bit unreliable and required a lot of playing around to try and keep the connection stable. The parking monitoring system does not work using the cable option – you need to pay for your kit to be hardwired in order to access this function. The dashcam comes with a 12 month guarantee. Overall, I’d say that the image quality is accessible but no better than that. It is however a dashcam at a budget price and you do get what you pay for.

This sleek black camera records at 1080p resolution and comes with night vision for sharp shots day or night. The compact design is easy to install without obstructing your view. With a WiFi connection, you can easily transfer and view your footage on your smartphone or tablet. The mini dashcam has no screen, making it a covert complement to the dashboard.

The IIWEY WiFi Dash Cam Front 1080P Mini Car No-screen Hidden Dashboard Recorder with Super Night Vision is one of those items that has as many quirks as it does features but overall it isn’t too bad.

A couple of negatives straight out of the way – first of all, the shell is a bit plasticky and doesn’t feel too premium: I’m not too sure how confident I’d be on whether or not it would survive a good fall without a few scratches for example. Also the app connection is a bit shaky and can be a bit of a frustrating experience overall – not to mention if the app ever became unavailable for whatever reason, you’d be left without a chunk of functionality.

The camera does thankfully feature a micro sd slot and seems (despite the description saying otherwise) take a 128gb card without issue, including a prompt to format on device via the app.

The quality is so so and again it’s slightly fiddling to install the charger around the edging of the car but once done, it can be placed out of the way and forgot about which is a very neat feature.

4.0 out of 5 stars A bit budget but not bad
