Good mood lighting.
I bought these lights for some extra mood lighting in my conservatory.
Easily placed under the window cill, they give off a very pleasing background glow.
The slow fade, seven colour change is my favourite.
The 15m length was more than my requirements and was easily cut at strategic points.
The app is also very useful but my phone keeps telling me it crashes all the time!
How long the lights continue to work remains to be seen, but at this price they are worth a chance.
Exxcellent desig
I found these perfect for my requirements, mainly to hang around the bedroom so that when I went to sleep I looked at the beautiful lighting these very bright LEDs put out.
The biggest plus for these is the fact it is one big 20-metre strip unlike others when you have to push segments together and watch as they fall apart, but these are maintenance-free. Also, the power supply has its own 3-pin plug a much superior design.
Lastly, I love the fact you can pre-set the time for when it will turn off after I have fallen asleep.
Really nice lights excellent quality
My son has adhd and autism he’s now reached his teenage years and his bedroom is now due for a grown up upgrade. He is into his gaming and loves his novelty lights ( he has a few )they make his bedroom his calm space. He currently has a colour changing bulb but it’s not really that impressive so he doesn’t bother with it so when I saw these and read the reviews I had to get them. Once I recieved them I plugged them in to make sure they worked and was very impressed with them. Unfortunately I cannot take a photo of them as they are currently wrapped up for him for Christmas along with the rest of his new bedroom items but they will be a big hit once they are up.
Thought I would give some first impressions on this product. On first opening the package from Amazon, I was a bit concerned that the plain black box was nothing like the box in the advert. Also, the connection plugs between the LED strip and the controller were different from the pictures.
However, absolutely everything worked as it should straight out of the box! It is really important to thoroughly clean the surface the strip is to be affixed top, particularly in my case as the strip was to be fitted on top of kitchen cabinets which tend to get greasy. Having tone this, installation was a breeze and I found the adhesive very good. One reviewer mentioned there not being enough of the included double sided tape and I wondered if they had misunderstood that this was only provided to use as short reinforcing strips as the main adhesive is on the LED strip itself after peeling off the blue tape? Anyway, the lights work brilliantly; they are bright and provide a good even wash. I’ve used both the remote and the Bluetooth from my phone and again. Both work perfectly. I should say that I originally had problems scanning the QR code (on the top of the controller) to get the app. This turned out to be the a particular QR scanner app on my phone which was dodgy (now deleted) which sent me to advertising pages. My other scanner worked fine, taking me to the app store.
I don’t know how long these will last but for just 10 I’m quite happy to take a chance.
