FOUND SERVICE FIRST CLASS,THE BULBS, THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE SENT FOR LEPRO BULBS I WAS PLEASED WITH THE FIRST ORDER AND I AM PLEASED WITH THE SECOND VERY GOOD LIGHT.THANK YOU
We’ve used a number of LE products over the years and always found them to be good value. These are no different. They give a good light without breaking the bank. Happy!
I bought this pack of 6 LED bulbs (all work well I’m pleased to say) as cheap spare back ups for an IKEA adjustable inspection lamp I had recently bought. These bulbs are E14 (Small Edison Screw) 5.8 watts. They are very light (about 15 grams each) and much smaller than the original IKEA bulb. The original IKEA bulb was 6.3 watts and weighs about 85 grams! Perhaps surprisingly, these new lightwight bulbs seem to perform just as well as the original and my Smart Meter Info Panel says they draw 6 to 7 watts which is exactly what it says for the original bulb as well. They are warm white as described – like the original and I notice hardly any difference. I just wanted cheap spares in case the original bulb stopped working. All my other lights are bayonet cap (BC) so they would not fit. I am very pleased I found these. If you are a perfectionist you might want to buy the original IKEA bulb at considerable expense but quite honestly for everyday use or for working on old clocks (which is what I use them for) I don’t think I would have any problems with any of these bulbs. I hope that they prove to be durable, but time will tell. At least I’ve got spares now, no matter what – so that’s a plus too. I paid 12.33 for these 6 bulbs, including postage, on Monday 13th June 2022. (12.33 divided by 6 = 2.055 pence each).
