FOUND SERVICE FIRST CLASS,THE BULBS, THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE SENT FOR LEPRO BULBS I WAS PLEASED WITH THE FIRST ORDER AND I AM PLEASED WITH THE SECOND VERY GOOD LIGHT.THANK YOU
Nice bulb!
We’ve used a number of LE products over the years and always found them to be good value. These are no different. They give a good light without breaking the bank. Happy!
Lepro E14 LED
Bought these lamps to replace 40w incandescent lamps. Measured current before and after fitting and there was significant reduction in current consumption. Light level and glare levels were as good if not better than incandescent. All lamps worked first time no failures. Only criticism is that the lamps are 180 deg so there is a dark line on the shade, 270 deg would be better but that’s a cosmetic thing.
I bought this pack of 6 LED bulbs (all work well I’m pleased to say) as cheap spare back ups for an IKEA adjustable inspection lamp I had recently bought. These bulbs are E14 (Small Edison Screw) 5.8 watts. They are very light (about 15 grams each) and much smaller than the original IKEA bulb. The original IKEA bulb was 6.3 watts and weighs about 85 grams! Perhaps surprisingly, these new lightwight bulbs seem to perform just as well as the original and my Smart Meter Info Panel says they draw 6 to 7 watts which is exactly what it says for the original bulb as well. They are warm white as described – like the original and I notice hardly any difference. I just wanted cheap spares in case the original bulb stopped working. All my other lights are bayonet cap (BC) so they would not fit. I am very pleased I found these. If you are a perfectionist you might want to buy the original IKEA bulb at considerable expense but quite honestly for everyday use or for working on old clocks (which is what I use them for) I don’t think I would have any problems with any of these bulbs. I hope that they prove to be durable, but time will tell. At least I’ve got spares now, no matter what – so that’s a plus too. I paid 12.33 for these 6 bulbs, including postage, on Monday 13th June 2022. (12.33 divided by 6 = 2.055 pence each).
Excellent - bright warm lights
I was cautious buying these as some reviews were saying they were too bright.
I have found these to be absolutely perfect – I am using 8 (4 pairs) in a lounge and they give much better light than my previous lights, which I was replacing because of becoming quite dim over the last 4 years.
All 8 light bulbs that I used are giving the same brightness and colour.
Would definitely recommend.
These were amazing – after I screwed them into the light fixture they gave out light, glorious light! After years sitting in the darkness this was a revelation. Wowee, what a boon to the modern home.
The Price Was Right !
Received the pack of bulbs within one day or ordering them. The packaging was undamaged and the bulbs appear to be intact. The bulbs have not been used as yet as I am awaiting the delivery of the correct lamp so that they can be used. This is a gift for a relative whose birthday is coming up very soon. I will not be using the lamps or bulbs myself but I will be testing these items myself before I hand them over for a birthday gift.
My two main considerations were brightness and bulb height/length.
Pleasantly surprised by how bright these bulb are given their 5 Watts rating. Brighter than the fluorescent bulbs I was replacing, and instant full intensity at the flick of a switch.
If the 5 watts rating is accurate then they’re also more energy efficient than a fluorescent equivalent.
As for dimensions, they’re shorter than the shortest fluorescent bulb which means you can fit them inside lamp holders designed for traditional golf balls without the tips of the bulbs protruding.
Will they last as long as a fluorescent bulb? I’m not sure it matters. If they serve for a reasonable amount of time then consider me converted to LE brand LED light bulbs!
