The box works generally as described, it blocked the signal of the key significantly but there was still a faint signal form the key, but the key would have to be within 2cm of the receiver to pick this up. The pouch also full blocked the signal.

Highly recommend this for anyone with a keyless car. The keys when in the wallet are not detected and then when stored safely away in the box at home it means you have complete peace of mind. Would highly recommend them, excellent quality, great value and arrived next day. Highly recommend the goods and the company.

This is a simple solution to a modern problem

We are in a rural area and being targeted by car theft where thieves scan for car remotes
This is a simple box the extra pouches are really helpful

I never thought I would be interested in this FaradayBox/pockets to secure my car keys, however, recently we experienced in our close suspicious activity, with 4 people testing our car doors. Police were called, and their advice was to purchase a Faraday box. They said that there had been 4 cars stolen in the area.

The box is used to store the keys to my car to prevent them being cloned as is the current fashion amongst car thieves. The box is the right size for the task and is conveniently placed in our hallway table without being an eyesore. I have tested the box and the two pouches that come with the box by trying to start the car while the keys are stashed and the car refuses to start so it appears that the box does what it claims.

Nice product. I actually mostly need the pouches as I’m always unlocking my car when my keys that I keep in my pocket get squeezed. The pouches stop this from happening. As my current car is not keyless I had the box as well for future use. Tested it by holding my key inside and pressing the unlock button. Not a proper test as I can’t close the lid with my hand inside. But tested it enough to see that it works.

I didn’t know what to expect as id never used a RF blocking item before, but these work brilliantly, even when I have the box or pouch right next to my car door it won’t open, I’m very pleased!

The box and two pouches arrived safely, and they come packed inside a plain cardboard box. The overall quality of everything is surprisingly decent. The box is well made, finished to a high standard and looks quite smart. The same can be said about the pouches.

The box can easily fit a whole bunch of keys inside it whereas the pouch can just about fit my single key and its key chain inside.

As previously mentioned, both the pouches and box seem to do a perfect job of blocking signals. My doors will no longer open automatically until I have removed the keys from the box/pouch and the car will refuse to start even with the pouch sitting on my lap.

Overall, it’s a product I’m very happy to recommend and I feel its easily worth the full five stars, buy with complete confidence!

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks smart, nice quality, and blocks signals perfectly!

I ordered this Faraday set actually not needing to use the car key pouches at all, I gifted one to my mother in law who’s really pleased with it.

The large box itself is a solid black box that can pretty much hold a couple of mobile phones in, as well as keys, cards, etc

Whilst mobile phones are in the box they cannot be contacted by other phones, neither does the ‘find my friend’ function work, which lets us know the box does indeed block electrical signals to whatever is inside.

I think it’s a great value for money set, that really does help to keep peace of mind in terms of security.

This smart black Faraday box is perfect for keeping your vehicle keys safe and secure, especially important if you have keyless entry.
With a contrasting gold clasp, this box looks stylish from the outside and has an attractive silver lining inside. It also includes two Faraday pouches so both your main and spare keys are catered for.
This, medium sized, box has enough room for keys (vehicle and house) plus those everyday essentials we grab when we leave the house. I daresay it would also have capacity for house keys, security pass and a small wallet.
With the amount of time we waste looking for these items, a one stop secure box would be a perfect solution for tidiness as well as security!

I can’t tell from the listings what the difference is between the “medium” and “large” models, but I ordered the “medium” model and the outer dimensions of the box measure17x12x9.5cm which does equate to those shown in the product listing and photos.

Both the box itself and the key pouches work well and I was able to stand right next to the car and the keys weren’t detected.

The box is quite large and there is plenty room for one or more phones inside as well as the keys unless you have an especially large phone.

The pouches on the other hand are rather small – you can squeeze an individual key in – so fine for long term storage of your spare key, but I wouldn’t want to use them on a daily basis or try to get a bunch of keys into them…not really a problem as the box can be used for that.

You get One Faraday Box and 2 Faraday Pouches.

The box has a stitched imitation leather appearance on the outside and a gold-coloured clasp. The quality is good and resembles a jewellery box in appearance. The inside is well lined to shield any wireless signal.

I received the medium sized Faraday Box which had internal measurements of 16cm by 11cm and 7.5cm deep. The box is big if you only have one car remote, so there is plenty of room for other keys/ remotes and even a small phone. For me I just have the one car remote and then the two Faraday Pouches in it.

I recently changed the battery in my car remote, so I know the signal is strong. I stood next to my car with my remote (Keyless entry) in the Faraday Box and then in a Pouch and in both cases I was unable to open my car door without taking the key out. I therefore deduce that both the Box and Pouches do a complete job of stopping the signal.

Nowadays you hear quite a few stories of people with keyless admission cars being stolen from their drives, due to thieves picking up and relaying the remote signal. This Faraday Box and Pouches will prevent this happening, providing I use it.

    Ordered the Medium sized box.
    The box measures approx. 17cm (w) x 12.5cm (d) x 9.5cm (h).
Comes as shown, with two vinyl key pouches. These pouches are not just designed to look like unrealistic carbon fibre, they are also designed to block signals.

Not a fan of the reflective gold clasp on the box lid. From the look of the photos, it appears that the large sized box has a more tasteful antique coloured clasp.

The box itself is faux leather on the outside and a very stylish material lining on the inside. The interior base of the box and underside of the lid are also padded.

The lid when opened, does not stay open by itself – it’s not quite able to be opened beyond 85-ish degress. Therefore just falls closed if you let go. Not sure if this was an intentional design feature or if my box suffers a manufacturing defect. (Photos taken with the lid open were made possible with the use of propping up the vinyl pouches against the lid. No CGI, Photoshopping or AI was used).

Real life action packed tests (sitting in the car together with car key inside box) reveal that the box does indeed stop the car key signal and our stuntman was unable to start the car when pressing the auto-start ignition button.
Fun Fact: As long as the car key remains inside the box, this will also work on preventing all non electric ignition cars from being started.

Now… just have to find somewhere to store the box out of sight from car thieves…wish the glove compartment was a little bigger.

The two ‘not so little’ portable vinyl key pouches pretending to be carbon fibre, also passed the key test. All manner of blind button pressing through the outside of the pouch resulted in successful zero response with the cars*.
*Plural – Tests carried out on two different vehicles.

No carbon fibre was harmed during any tests or the writing of this review.

4.0 out of 5 stars It works. Hitting those car zapping thieves where it hurts.

This not unattractive box will give some peace of mind that my new car can’t be easily robbed. It’s quite large just for car keys (17cm wide, 12cm deep and 10cm high) so I may look for a smaller one. I’m not sure I’d bother using the two pouches that come with it but I guess they’d add security if you were bothered to put your key straight into one each time you walked away from the car into your house/office etc

I wish these boxes didn’t have clasps on them as this makes it slightly more awkward to open to chuck in your keys. There are a lot of very similar looking faraday boxes on the market. This one seems reasonably priced.

I’m not blown away, but equally I can’t really fault it for the price.
