This is a fantastic solution to needing a second dock or a lightweight travel solution.
The dock holds the switch nice and securely and you can charge the switch while also having it on the TV using the hdmi output.
The stand folds up really small so it’s ideal for travelling.
You will need to use the charger from your original dock or a compatible 3rd party one.
The stand is very nicely made, there is a little weight to it with the metal chasis design. OEM power adapter plugs right in with no issues, HDMI does the same. The operating, power light is a little hidden once the main leads are connect to the stand…not a worrying thing. There is a short power lead from the stand to the Switch for the initial connection each time, letting the Switch sit nicely in this book style stand.
