Study and versatile phone holde
This phone holder grips the airvents via a small rear hook which is tightened via a turn-knob against the rear part of the vent. This means a rock-solid mounting that won’t drop. The only issue here is that you can’t really change the vertical position of the vent slats, which is typical of vent mounting phone holders.
The phone is clamped easily with two side clamps on a ratchet, and these are quickly released with a single button press at the rear. The holder allows a charging cable to be plugged in at the bottom of the phone, and assumes the charging port is central.
A a short adjustable boom arm allows the phone to be well clear of the car’s own screen or other controls that you want unobstructed access too. You can bias the mounting towards the passenger side if you prefer, for example.
Overall this is a versatile and sturdy product if you want a phone to be visible and easily accessible in the car – e.g for sat-nav (phone can be mounted horizontally), or for when you’re parked up and want to tap out a message or two.
Well designed but doesn't fit in a 15 yr old Mini
It ticks all the boxes of a well-designed mobile phone holder for the car but unfortunately for me it did not fit the vents in a Mini Cooper circa 2006-7 – a real shame but “universal” is not quite correct!
Solid, sturdy phone holde
A very solid phone mount for your car vent.
If you prefer your phone mounts to go onto the car vent instead of on the dashboard then this one is worth a look
It slots into your air vent then tightens up for a secure fit – after which you can just leave it in place as you come and go with your phone.
One of the main advantages of using this phone holder is that you can put your phone into any orientation, whether portrait or landscape – useful if you’re watching movies *whilst not driving* or using your phone for sat nav etc
At first it looks flimsy but once it’s fitted it does the job nicely and you should have many years happy travelling just getting in your car, slotting your phone into the mount and driving away.

I recently purchased this phone holder and so far, it’s been a solid investment. The installation was a breeze, and its design offers great flexibility. The holder looks and feels sturdy, providing a secure grip on my phone during drives. Its rotation feature is handy for adjusting the viewing angle. At 9.99, it’s reasonably priced, though I’m crossing my fingers for its durability over time. For now, I’m impressed with its performance and would recommend it for a reliable and user-friendly car phone mount.
Impressive holde
managed to break my trusty mobile holder in the car, having had it 9+ years, and hoped for a good replacement and this is it I believe.
Really versatile, even on my Fiesta vents in the middle console area – I have to say that I was not sure until fitted- and I am very happy indeed. Easy to remove and engage (and holds my S21 in its case too) and not in the way of the vents power either. Fabulous!

Review of LISEN Car Phone Holder Vent 2023,
A well made substantial mobile phone holder for vehicle air vent fitting, the hook to position fits through and behind the air vent slats then tightened to retain.
As an added feature a wing type support is supplied to fit the front of the air vent, this positioned and held in place by the large mechanism to tighten the hook onto the rear of the air vent.
Once the retaining hook is in place a smaller nut on the front of the phone holder body allows 360 degree rotation of an arm to which the phone cradle is attached, this cradle also rotates 360 degrees allowing the phone cradle multiple vertical or horizontal positions, a minor irritation is that should the arm be positioned upright behind and in line with the cradle the arm retaining nut prevents any downward movement or positioning.
The cradle itself well made with extending arms on a ratchet to retain the mobile phone and a cut out in the foot allows cable connection, the standard ball connection at the rear has a large nut that can be tightened to fully retain the cradle at any angle.
Except for the one minor irritation this is a heavy duty phone holder for air vent fitting and does retain the mobile phones allotted position in use, hopefully the air vent will do the same.
Very versatile phone holde
This phone holder works great it’s very versatile and you can customise the fitting to suit your car. I’ve had problems with other phone holders covering my infotainment units controls but this holder doesn’t. It sits securely into the vent with a good solid screw mechanism. The other fasteners on the arm don’t seem as secure but do the job well. I can orientate my phone exactly how I want it so this works well for me.
