Used for the first time on some good quality 11 year old John Lewis knives. Although I would say it didn’t return them to as new standard, the edge wasn’t totally clean, there were still a few nicks along the blade, (in fairness that is a big ask on some old blunt knives) it did produce a result that would cut down a sheet of paper. The grip handle is a good size and comfortable to use. Am yet to try the scissors sharpener.

The instructions are relatively clear and easy to follow. The complimentary pair of cut protection gloves is an excellent touch and sets this device apart from others in a similar price range. We paid 9.99 for the set, which is truly excellent value given that a pair of cheap cut protection gloves will set you back a few quid on their own.
