Does what it says
I had had reasonable success powering a fite TV stick from the TV’s USB port but was getting irritated by constant “insufficient power” messages from the stick and “unable to support USB device” from the TV. Neither prevented the setup from working but the messages seemed to be getting more frequent. This fixed it. A refurbished one saved a bit of money.

Wow what a great idea. Saves on unsightly wires, one plug into wall to power telly which then powers fire stick. I brought it for my campervan. I’ve used it at home bait as yet haven’t tried it in van. But I’m guessing it’ll work just as well. Brilliant. 5
Absolutely amazing! Saves using sockets you don't have
Super convenient to have. I took the fire stick on holiday with me with the USB extension and it works perfectly and was handy to have. Makes it look a lot less cluttered around the TV with all the cables that would be going to the sockets. Wonderful. Would highly recommend to anyone who has a fire stick
As you can see from the photo my TV is fixed on a bracket on the wall and all the cables come out of the wall behind the TV so the last thing I wanted to do was to connect the fire TV stick and have the power cable coming out from behind the TV then run down the wall and look untidy. So I found this amazing gadget on Amazon. It was a little bit fiddly to connect it as I had to squeeze my hand behind the TV but it was well worth it. It works perfectly and is worth every penny.
I don’t often review items but felt that this item deserves a mention.
My firestick would randomly reboot itself and continue to do so over and over again.
Most of the time it was fine but when this problem occurred it wouldn’t work until I left it for a hour or so.
Anyway I read that my issue could be a power issue, as I had extended the original power lead that came with the firestick, as I wanted it in the wall to hide the wire.
When I plugged in this gadget into the usb and firestick it worked perfectly.
I haven’t had anymore problems with my firestick.
It’s ideal as it’s all hidden behind the tv.

Great Help
Where the tv is mounted, the electric socket is too far away for the length of the electric cable that comes with the fire stick. This USB Power Cable works well, no problem with cable lengths.

This came in very handy for setting up my fire TV stick without having to use the plug that came with it and it neatly tucks nicely behind the TV.
Works a trea
Bought this becasue we didn’t want a visible wire trailing down behind our TV to a socket.
Read the instructions – you have to plug the box in and charge it for 10 minutes before you use it. it has a battery/capacitor inside that stores a charge for when the TV is off, so it can instantly start up again.
It’s quite slim so fits behind our TV well. So now we plug it in to a USB port on the TV and don’t need a socket. Fantastic solution to an age-old problem.
Does the job but bulky
Couldn’t use on living room TV as not enough clearance behind for the chunky battery. Used on a bedroom TV instead. Does mean fire stick doesn’t go into standby requiring a full reboot every time powered on but does mean one less plug required for a wall mounted tv

Bought this as was not aware of the power issue until I got a new tv. The unit worked instantly and stopped the low power message displayed on the TV constantly. Excellent item
it’s simple and does what it says it does works perfectly fine and powers my fire stick with no problems. The power block is a touch bulky but not too big that it will cause problems or stop it from fitting behind a TV. The TV I have it fitted to is wall mounted and the size easily fits behind the TV and helps to tidy up the TV and make a much cleaner setup.
USB Power works a trea
The Mission USB Power Cable for Amazon Fire TV is perfect to host power the fire-stick TV straight off the TV’s USB port. So no need to use separate power socket keeping everything everything behind the TV very neat. A very minor issue with my setup is that I found the cable from the Mission USB Power adapter a bit short. Resolved with ordering a longer USB cable
Perfect for TV on a wall
I have added a fire stick to my TV and all the cables are truncated with no room for an Amazon power cable. This fantastic device allows me to power my fire stick without a 13amp plug. Simple device that is effective and reliable.
This Works Really Well
I wasn’t sure if this would do what I wanted because we completely power off our tv when it’s not in use. I thought that it would probably not get enough direct current from the tv’s USB port and need to charge whilst on standby. This was absolutely not the case and it works perfectly even when all power to the tv and it’s peripherals is shut down between uses.
Brilliant bit of ki
This is an excellent bit of kit which powers the fire stick via the tv. We only have one power socket at the back of the tv so was thinking I’d need a conventional extension lead or something, but this is super neat & tidy and works really well.
Great little product, great idea, just plug in a usb to give it a little charge for 10 mins. ( not needed to do this again since )Then plug in to the usb on the back of the TV then in to the HDMI as normal. And the TV powers the fire stick.
This means I could do a way with the long wire and plug and my extension cable I needed before . Makes it a lot better smooth lines around the TV with out wires hanging down makes it looks cleaner and much more tidy. Great idea great product.
Worth the money
If you have a wall mounted tv and limited power supply then this is an ideal solution. Bit pricey when you think about it but it is honestly worth the money. No buffering issues at all.
for (my configuration) the configuration i require/ to be able to store neatly/ ‘correctly’ etc. (once fitted) i instantly saw that i would need to buy an ADDITIONAL cable
so as good as this item is (which it is)/ taking AWAY a cable/ i now have to ADD a(n admittedly smaller) cable
it seems like such a ‘small’ (i know it’s hard to make this kind of product [in these kinds of numbers]) and ‘simple’ fix/ maybe even (as a minimum) making both cables the same length
i am NOT saying: don’t get this cable!…
i AM saying: consider your configuration BEFORE buying and take into account maybe needing/ AT THE SAME TIME buying a SHORT Micro USB Male to Female Extension Cable

Very easy to install. Works straight away. I do feel it is a bit slower than using a plug version but that might just be me. Very happy with purchase as I needed a spare plug for the fan in this heat. Does the job and I would recommend
