This battery is OEM and you get the peace of mind knowing that this battery will have 100% compatibility with your Neewer Q4 strobe. I love having an extra battery for my strobe, especially if I’m on location using flash. I dont recharge batteries after every shoot unless the battery is at least 25%, so knowing that i can always pack the spare battery will allow me to focus on more important factors of a shoot. If you are accustomed to the battery that came with your Q4 strobe then you already know everything about this one. Also having an extra battery can prolong the life of your batteries by reducing the charge cycles on each one.
Mit Produkten von NEEWER habe ich bislang gute Erfahrungen gemacht und wurde auch hier beim NEEWER NB-Q4-Akku nicht enttuscht.
Vor dem Kauf ist aber dringend der Hinweis des Hersteller zu bahnten, dass der Akku nmlich nur mit dem NEEWER Q4 400Ws 2,4G TTL Blitzlicht funktioniert und auch kein separater Ladeadapter mitgeliefert wird. Dass die Kompatibilitt hier eingeschrnkt ist, ist zwar bedauerlich, aber bekanntlich kochen die meisten Hersteller ihr eigenes Sppchen, um die Kunden mit ihren Produkten an sich zu binden
Ansonsten macht der Akku bislang eine gute Figur am NEEWER Q4 400 Ws 2,4G TTL Studioblitz und dient fr umfangreiche Blitzaktivittten ggf. als Reserve, denn im Originalzubehr des NEEWER Q4 400 ist bekanntlich bereits ein Lithium-Akku enthalten.
Der hier gelieferte Li-Ionen-Polymer Akku (21,6V/2.800 mAh) kann vom Leistungsumfang bislang berzeugen, ist qualitativ hochwertig und erwartungsgem voll kompatibel (da Original-Zubehr). Alles in allem eine gute Wahl, denn doppelt” hlt bekanntlich besser. Mangels Langzeiterfahrungen gibt es somit aktuell vier Sterne.
This relieves in a third-party battery it’s simply another battery identical to the one you got when you bought the flash. So it’s perfect. Same good build quality and same amount of power. Same number of flashes. What’s not to love?
As a go-to brand for photography gear, NEEWER doesn’t disappoint with the Q4 Battery Pack. After relying heavily on my original, getting a spare was a no-brainer. Its compact size is a major plus, making it easy to include in any photography kit without the bulk. The assurance that you won’t run out of juice mid-shoot is invaluable, especially during long sessions or on-location shoots. This battery pack is a must-have for any photographer looking to avoid the dreaded power outage at crucial moments. It should be noted, this is a replacement for the Q4 Studio Flash Strobe Light, NB-Q4 only. But given how heavily I rely on my NEEWER lighting, a backup battery is a smart investment.
This 21.6V/2800mAh Neewer Q4 battery pack doing great job i must admit, very simple to use, really helpful and useful replacement.
I really like that one full charge can give up to 400 full power flashes, and it can be fully charge in about 3.5 hours.
Very safe to use couse it has built in: overheating protection, electric shock, overvoltage, short circuit, overcharge, and overcurrent protection.
It’s in small, lightweight, portable size: 3.5”x3.4”x1.5” (8.9cm x8.7cm x3.8cm) and weighs only 0.9lb (410g.
Great additional photography equipment, really good quality, and price is reasonable for sure.
I can easily highly recommended to anyone.
Every photographer knows the value of having spares of everything possible! In the case of batteries for strobes, a second battery is particularly important.
This battery looks and works just like the one that came with my Q4. I did notice this battery has a slightly lower capacity though. See my pictures. The capacity IS what is stated in the description, so I am not complaining. I just found it interesting.
If you want a spare or need a replacement battery for your Neewer Q4, this is what to get.
It is what it is, a replacement battery (or backup) for Neewer’s Q4 Strobe; it’s the exact same quality model you get with the Q4.
For me, this will be used as a backup so I can have one charging whilst the other is being used (very handy for a full weekend of photography at comic con for example ).
This battery (NB-Q4) is the original manufacturer battery for the Q4 strobe, so, not to be mistaken for any 3rd party replacement battery.
Therefore, it is identical with the battery the NEEWER Q4 Flash comes with.
I have been very happy with the power output of the battery, or let’s say the number of flashes I got out from my Q4 strobe; but having a second battery as backup is of course the recommended way to go when taking the Q4 to a location shoot where you cannot plug-in.
The battery can be charged with the charger that comes with the Q4 strobe — this battery itself does not come with a charger. The battery requires that NEEWER charger and cannot be charged via a USB-C charger.
