    Works brilliantly
Oral-B Genius 2x Electric Toothbrushes with Pressure Sensor, Gifts For Women / Men.

They just work so well we have both used them for many years and they make a real difference to teeth cleaning.

Batteries last a good 2 weeks and the heads are a lot cheaper than the new style Oral-B iO series.

Can’t see the point of bluetooth though.

    Best electric toothbrush
This toothbrush couldn’t be better. Ive had it for nearly 5 years and still works like the day I go it. It has 6 cleaning modes- Daily Clean, Pro Clean, Sensitive, Whitening, Gum Care and tongue clean. I have tried all of them using different pastes and brush heads but really only use Pro Clean and Tongue Clean and occasionally Whitening when I want to give my teeth a good polish. Has lasted really well! Easy to replace the brush heads ann can pick them up online for about 25 for 12 which lasts just over 2 years. The Battery takes a about a day to charge fully from dead but will last about 2 weeks.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat toothbrushes for the price.
I researched so may toothbrushes and decided to go with these as the replacement heads aren’t too expensive, whereas the I0 Oral B brushes, the replacement heads are crazy prices. I am very happy and my teeth feel like just come away from the dentist. I like the different settings but think I would generally stick with whitening as seems to be most powerful. I am not bothered about the app so this was an ideal brush to purchase. Does the job and I got 2 brushes for 100.08 so I am happy. Would I pay more, not really.

Handy 2 pack allows you 1 for every day, and 1 in travel case ready to go
Technology getting cleverer with every new model, but I think watching your brushing skills on you phones app is probably not worth more than novelty value. Bring back the clock/ timer, not as clever but more useful.

    Gets to the tooth!
What an absolute bargain this is. No more fighting the Mrs for the electric toothbrush now. More functions than our old one. Even has an app to tell you how long to brush in one area of the mouth, not that we use it but….
All in all very pleased with purchase.

    Perfect for holidays
The battery life is exceptional and being a two-pack this item is perfect for a couple. The timer and Bluetooth app are great for ensuring a good clean. My wife particularly likes the gold. The only down side is that only one travel case is provided in the kit. This led me to buying a further travel case. See other review.

    Love it …!
Had use a uk adapter because it come with two pin plug. Don’t know why ? If where uk buyers. Charge lasts 12 days , works really well clean teeth super love it , worth its price. Hubby loves it too , look good but would have liked it to come with a second case too , since we both don’t always travel together at the same time . Good to have case in the same price.

    A bit over-engineered but a good toothbrush
I bought an oral-b toothbrush to replace my Sonicare on the advice of my dentist. I was torn between just getting an entry level one and going for the fancy one that does everything. As there was a deal on and my husband wanted to replace his too, we went for this one.
I have to say, I really don’t think the extra features are particularly worthwhile. This has a Bluetooth connection with a programme that tells you whether you’re brushing your teeth correctly, which is a great idea but I didn’t find particularly useful. It comes with a holder to stick to the wall to put your mobile phone into as the phone has to be facing you while you’re brushing your teeth. It’s a bit of a faff, especially if you don’t want to be sticking things to your bathroom wall and all it really does is tell you if you’re missing parts of your mouth when brushing. Handy in a way but it just seems like a lot to do just for that piece of information. It also has lots of different modes including for sensitive teeth, tongue brushing etc, which is handy, but is available on cheaper models. It’s a great toothbrush, battery life is a little short, but I do wish I’d just gone for the entry level.

    Excellent toothbrushes
Lots of bells & whistles are linked to Bluetooth which are for the most part superfluous, there are lights to indicate excess pressure etc. I guess Oral B felt Bluetooth was a necessary addition to sell what is an excellent toothbrush. Lithium Barttery & holding the charge for much longer than previous models also high speed is really effective to give a really clean feeling after use.

It works very well if you are not good brushing your teeth
I have had it for 1 month and when I got it I told the difference right away. The heads are nice and cover most of the surface of my teeth. The only disadvantage of this toothbrush is it is a bit noisy. So, if you tend to brush your teeth at night ( e.g. 1 am ) you might disturb your family. Don’t buy this toothbrush only for the app. I barely use it since it isn’t convenient.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGreat Quality, Various Functions, Thorough Clean, Magnetic Charging Dock, Travel Case
Does everything it should do and more.

First time I have used an electric toothbrush and Braun does not disappoint. Once you go electric there’s no turning back!

That clean feel is certainly noticeable compared to a conventional toothbrush. The different modes suit all sensitivities with variable oscillations/intensities according to the setting you use.

Of course you should use a suitable toothbrush head as well for an efficient job.

The quadrant timer that vibrates every 30 seconds is a useful timer, or you can disable it and just brush at your own pace. The 2 minute vibration still occurs in any case.

There is also a pressure sensor built in. The LED light around the neck of the handle illuminates WHITE whilst in normal use. If too much pressure is applied the sensor detects it and the LED light will turn RED. This is a good safety warning feature to potentially prevent damage to your gums or teeth.

I haven’t used the bluetooth function in conjunction with the smartphone holder as I’m not really a fan of going this far with tech especially in a toothbrush (??!). So I have disabled this function, it is very easy to do and will save on battery power!

The charging time is quite long (upto 15 hours) and that’s not an innaccurate timescale! However you can boost up with a smaller charge just to brush your teeth and return it to the charging dock. You can also dock your toothbrush in the charger after each use but overall this will reduce the battery longevity.

The unit cannot be opened up or sent off to Braun for a battery replacement as the battery is sealed in the unit and is non-replaceable. The handle will only be good for the bin.

It is advertised the battery life will last around 12 days. Bear in mind this is likely based upon using the toothbrush for the recommended 2 minutes, and using the bluetooth function and also the quadrant timer so you may achieve a longer use from a full charge. Also if you share the handle with another person then please factor in you could be charging it every 6 days.

It is a magnetic charging dock so no visible electrical contacts, and its completely safe to use. There is no 3 pin plug and therefore you will need to purchase a two pin plug adaptor.

The brush handle is all water resistant and can withstand a quick rinse. Personally I just use a wet hand to wipe it down, dry, and store.

It also contains 1 travel case, the smartphone surface mount (which has suckers for attachment to a mirror or smooth surface) and some spare brush heads suitable for different sensitivities.

I bought 1 duo pack shortly followed by a purchase of a 2nd duo pack.

I’m enjoying the experience of a thorough clean which a conventional toothbrush just cannot match!

    Great job Braun!

Missing travel case and power lead
I am disappointed that my package only comes with one travel case, when their are two toothbrush heads. Either my wife or I will not be able to use the case when we travel. Worse still there is no power cable for the travel case enclosed in the package – which is essential.

Open box but like new - wouldnt have known any differe
I purchased for a lower price as it was marked as open but new. Items arrived in original undamaged packing, with all accessories. There were 4 brush heads but not all 4 types, 2 of the same and 2 different (missing floss head, but i dont mind). Provides a deep clean, the app does work but is somewhat gimmicky and requires you to stand in front of the camera for it to work. If you start a challenge on the app some of the 5 brushing modes will LOCK and it will seem that your toothbrush is broke, ITS NOT. Go onto the app, onto your brush, and you can see the deactivated modes and reenable them.

Replacement to my existing Oral-B brush
I’ve been using Oral-B for over 6 years and my previous brush was around 4 years old, it needed a charge every 3-4 days and I thoughts its time for an upgrade, knowing this one provided a 12 day charge it meant I can travel with it (post lockdown of course). I have been using the brush for 3 months now. I like that I only need to charge it once every 10-12 days. I also like that its quite a lot smaller compared to my previous one, by that I mean its more comfortable to hold in my hand and the special brush modes do actually get my teeth cleaner. Its a pricey toothbrush but hopefully it will last me a good number of years.

    Best brush purchase I've made
We’ve had a generic oral B for some time now. Honestly there was nothing wrong with them (passed on to family that wanted) so as a brand I will probably always shop with them for toothbrushs.

For me the oral be app that you can connect to your toothbrush as you brush, is a game changer, I have always brushed twice a day for a couple of minutes, but this app really shows you the places (on 5 Sections) where you aren’t brushing enough. It encourages you with medals to win (like 2 weeks without too much pressure) also sets you challenged to complete. I would recommend pressing the camera button at the top right of the screen just before brushing so you are in the best position for the feedback, I have had a few issues when I haven’t done this but non when I have.

The battery life on them at the moment is just under a week that I think is fab, I do however charge every few days our of habit, but also after a few days the power does tend to slow the brush down slightly.

There are many different brush settings, my preference is the sensitive setting as too powerful and my gums can hurt, this is just preferable for me though, my partner uses the daily clean setting and says its fine. (I do like that we both have the same brush and the deal for both made it worth it I think at 30 extra to get the double set)

I would fully recommend this model, or one of their models that are Bluetooth enabled where you can use the app while brushing.

If thar isn’t for you it is a good brush alone, and also you can set up the app to just track your daily brushing unguided.

There is a very strong holder for your phone that comes with this pack (not sure about others) and I have found this very helpful, it is on the bathroom mirror and won’t budge unless a button is pressed so I am happy to keep my phone on, I also use it to play music on my phone while showering. If you don’t want to use it for this purpose then it could be good for hands free face timing?

The charger is standard. It does also come with a case that you can use for you brush heads, but I’m not using this.

I would recommend using an oral B brush head. I know they are expensive but they are such good quality. Also most Dentists advice to change your toothbrush every 3 months and I think the cheaper brands don’t last this long. I do Sterilise our brush heads once a week that helps keep them clean and I think extendes their life also.

So all round 5 stars from me.

    Powerful but noisy
For an expensive brush its noisy. Also you cant change modes when turned off, a major usability flaw – has to be on so sprays everywhere. The 2 minute timer feels short, end u brushing double the amount normally. But powerful and good battery capacity.

    Pros and cons
    Pros:
    -Beautiful design
    -Ok battery life (2 weeks)
-Oral b app (is not perfect, but makes washing my teeth’s fun and I actually notice my teeth’s are cleaner when I use the app.)
-I feel my teeth super clean
    – good price

    Cons:
-Why does Oral B sell a toothbrush in uk that does not have uk plug (nor EU!!)
    – the toothbrush comes with different modes but they are always locked: I can only use the normal and the tongue one. Only after reseting the toothbrush (click on power button for 10 seconds) I can access them all.
-the travel case is not a charging case as said in some comments, is just plastic.
    – it just comes with one charger, witch may be annoying if both toothbrushs are out of battery
    – it takes foooreeeeveeer to charge. Seriously 15 hours to charge a toothbrush? It takes less time to charge a car

Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and despite it all I would by agai

Beautiful toothbrush with lots of power and functions
Love the colours, comfortable in the hand; however it’s a pain to access the buttons or change it’s function whilst in operation. Say from cleaning teeth to cleaning the tongue. This can lead to water or toothpaste foam splattering over things especially the mirror. Timer does not automatically turn off. When completed so brush will still spin unless you can easily turn off whilst still in the mouth.

The bluetooth function can be a bit hit and miss with the quadrants. Its advanced but clearly not as developed as the io versions. Though the app is great and gives great functionality with you being able to set a programme for your objectives. The app tracks and notifies you of how well, how long, and if you brush too hard.

The battery is pretty good. Even if the it’s showing 1 bar, the function performs as if it has full power. I have yet to run out of juice.

Cleaning is excellent, very thorough and very powerful. It’s great that it has a gum massage function as they need extra care. It is gentle on that option.

The travel case is nice slim fits into most wash bags, but it would be brilliant if it had the rechargeable one, so you didnt have to carry the lead.

Overall a super toothbrush, but a little improvement needed with bluetooth quadrant accuracy and latency.

    Fab, however 1 small critique
Loving the improvement of using this electric toothbrush and is easy to operate my only criticism is if spending that significant amount of money there should be a 3pin uk plug in the box as they only cost a couple of pound to source I think oral B should reconsider the contents and when charging so much money for a product I should at least be able to charge it the day I open it without having to spend more money on a standard 3pin uk plug ….. just seems a little distasteful but the product itself is brillia

Satisfied so far, for our first electric toothbrush
First time owners of an electric toothbrush so choosing the right one for us was quite a chore. We eventually decided to get this particular model by Oral B-Braun and it did not disappoint us. Like riding a bike for the first time, it has a lot of nice and useful features that made our transition from manual to automatic all that easy. The tactile feedback lets us know when to move the head to another quadrant and it also lets us know if we are pushing the head too hard against our teeth. There are several modes/speed to choose from which is another plus feature. The brushing experience left us feeling far cleaner compared to using a traditional manual toothbrush! We haven’t tried the bluetooth feature (it’s a nice bonus but personally not necessary). Battery life stands at 7 days as far as our experience is concerned (usage is 2x/day) before needing of a recharge. Lastly, for 122 for 2 handles (black and rose gold), I’d say it’s worth the price!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAbsolute Essential!
Thought I’d give this product a few weeks worth of testing before my review, and I am absolutely amazed by how big of a step up it is from your traditional toothbrush.

    PROS:

    * FUNCTION – the 5 brushing modes to accommodate to different tasks and necessities is amazing. I love the ultra cleaning mode, the whitening mode is fantastic too, with the right brush head and toothpaste. Your mouth will be left feeling extremely clean, fresh, and ready for the day ahead.

    * TIMER – honestly, the 30 second intervals are extremely helpful, you just hold your toothbrush in each corner of your mouth moving it slowly to hit all areas. No time wasted.

    * BATTERY LIFE – amazing. It really does live up to its description of 2 weeks. Literally zero stress!

    * WHAT YOU GET – this product in particular comes with 2 Series 9900’s, travelling case, 4 heads, charging stand, and a mirror mount. Huge bang for your buck!

    CONS:

    * APP: I sometimes have trouble using the app’s guided system when brushing my teeth as it uses motion tracking etc., it became quite annoying as it was showing that I was brushing a different side of my mouth. Not a huge issue though as the 30 second timer was more than enough for me so I stopped using it.

All in all, if you have the money to spare, this is an incredible investment for your dental health, your future self with thank you.

100% recommended and I hope you found my review helpful.

    Very poor service
The product is fine but amazon customer service is appalling. We had not used amazon for some time but decided to try them again. We were warned by friends that trying to buy something without getting roped into prime was almost impossible. We bought the product and at every step ticked for standard free delivery and refused the prime free trial offer. My partner checked at each step. When we got the order through by email it stated prime delivery and then we got an email welcoming us to prime. Really difficult to cancel. Took over a hour to sort. The last customer service person did so and said that we deserved compensation for the time and stress that was involved, but it’s not amazon policy so they couldn’t. They have certainly lost me as a potential customer. That’s the problem with effective monopolies – they abuse that position. They are truly awful. While the product gets the 4 stars amazon deserve a minus rating.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSqueaky clean feel!
I’ve been using a manual toothbrush all my life, which has been the most effective for me personally.
I’ve decided to finally take a step forward and use an electric brush. The difficult question was, determining the right one.

I came across the Oral B 9900. It has changed my life for better.

The brush itself consists of functions which suit your own personal preferences. It cleans your teeth profoundly and makes them squeaky clean and shiny white.

I’m a bit unhappy with advertisements of 2 brushes for 1, as the pack is only equipt with 1 brush worth.

However, overall I’m very happy and it has been a long term investment for better.

    They are great!
Electric toothbrush really makes a difference, it cleans properly between your teeth and you can definitely feel it. It takes much less time for that effect with electric rather than the non electric one! There are so many functions it’s amazing! The battery last very long (around 3 weeks with one charge) so you don’t need to take the charger with you when going on a holiday. The oral-B app is literally amazing it shows you where you missed a spot while washing and it makes is so much fun! I definitely recommend!

    Lots of features
We haven’t even tried all the features and gave up on the app as we don’t have time to use/connect every morning although when we used the app it was interesting to know how much of your mouth you had covered!

Overall excellent toothbrushes and give a lovely clean feeling. various heads supplied and of the three we’ve used all do a great job. Not sure how sensitive the sensitive setting is though in comparison to the other settings – I had a facial injury which required stitches to the mouth and I had some teeth knocked out that needed replacing as well as some composite bonding to build teeth back up. I bought this toothbrush because of that and on three occasions the composite bonding has come away from my teeth and needed replacing (this never happened with a normal manual brush). I don’t think this is a bad thing though just a show of how powerful these brushes can be but maybe not the best for issues such as these or super sensitive/injured mouths/faces.

The travel cases are excellent and battery life long. We generally stick to the same settings and teeth feel clean and the timer buzz is very handy. We have owned Phillips Sonic clean before too and I would definitely prefer these to that for the spinning head feels like more area is covered and gotten to.

    Quite good.
You need some time to learn how to use it (it is the first electric toothbrush I own), but when you use it for 2-3 times, then everything is good.
The pack of two (2) toothbrushes lacks of the support of both. What I mean is that, there are accessories for only one of them, like travel case, charger, toothbrushes consumables etc., so if you need them you have to buy them extra.

Better than Sonicare by a mile
After 20yrs of Sonicare I’ve permanently moved to Oral-b after my Sonicare broke. In my personal experience Sonicare toothbrush handles last about 2yrs sometimes less before they get noisy and break. Happened to me 4-5 times and around the same number for wife. I had flirted with oral b toothbrushes but never persevered, I felt they were a bit severe in use where the Sonicare was super gentle. Anyway around a year ago I bought the single pack oral b genius 9000, and I persevered. What a difference, ok it took about 3 weeks for my mouth, teeth and gums to get used to it but Wow. Super super super clean mouth, gums and teeth. I can now rate as super gentle too. Dentist visit confirmed teeth and gums all good and nothing needed and no charge. On reliability, 2 sons have oral b basic brush handles around 7 years and still going strong. Wife has now changed too and fully agrees with the above.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBuy it!!
Brought in Black Friday deal at 109.99 although to be honest it looks like it’s this price anyway. But brought it as needed a good rotating head one. Had an omron previously by Colgate and wasn’t getting on with it teeth never felt clean. So didn’t do my research just when for something that was expensive and a good brand, also liked the fact it was basically a his and hers pack .
Reading the reviews I didn’t know whether to get it as it didn’t seem great but looking at other brands the reviews were the same. Bluetooth I can’t comment on as I don’t use it to me it’s a bit of a useless feature. My daughters brush has it and it never connects or looses the connectivity it takes longer trying to connect and set up then brushing so I haven’t bothered with this one.
Battery life seems fine I have been using it for 4 days now and not needed to charge.still going strong. The different modes etc is very good and helpful. I can 100% notice the difference after cleaning them. It’s like having a clean with the hygienist at the dentist normally before my teeth would still feel grotty and bits were left in between but now they feel so clean and looks all clear. Highly recommend if your looking for a toothbrush

    Good toothbrush, very expensive
I’ve bought maybe 6 of these toothbrushes (different models) over the past 4 years, I have purchased the Genius 9000 before & it came with the nice, quality, smart travel case (although the USB port is pretty much useless). I’ve now purchased the 9900 which is the twin pack of the 9000. The travel case is a cheap, flimsy looking case, not smart, it is correctly advertised as not being a smart case but the supplied case looks & feels like something you would pick up from a 1 store. Very disappointing, I’m currently considering sending it back for a refund. The brushes are decent, packed with 6 functions, 5 of which I never use. From my last 9000 brush, it has never got the claimed 2 week battery life so I don’t think these 2 will be any different. You may get a weeks use from brand new, then the battery deteriorates & after 3 or 4 days you notice the oscillations reducing so you recharge it.

it came the following day… lovely set up….the oral – app took time with the blue tooth to your phone. i had to try loads but it did finally work…i thought i had lost my old elec tooth brush while i was moving house, so ordered a new one, yep sods laws my old one turned up… got this with the black friday deal…so an absolute bargain, only problem is there are only one charging pod in the stand, but 4 tooth brush heads… the other handle has to go inside the case which has a hole for a charger but you have to buy this, which is really daft.
