Kitchen knife.
As described and quickly delivered. Very sharp knife so hopefully stays sharp. Knife looks good and sits well in your hand. Bought as a multi purpose knife and so far I’m very pleased with it. Recommended.
Cuts well and good in the hand
Well presented and feels good in the hand.
I do like decent cutlery and this blade shape does work well when fine chopping and equally cuts well in heavier applications.
Laser etched danascus pattern on blade gives a nice decorative defect and the handle appears to be a laminate.
Very happy with this knife.
Lovely little knife
So lovely, I’ve hidden it from the rest of the family so they don’t blunt it or break it like they have every other knife in the house. Sharp enough for stringy runner beans, glides through veg a dream.
Great little knife
I’m really impressed with this knife. I like that it has a guard on the blade. We’re not in use a very good price a very sharp knife one happy customer.
Very sharp
I like it because it’s very sharp and for cutting onions I’m hoping it doesn’t go unsharp after a while, also very light to hold it, comfort, it’s the size I wanted, not rusty yet, and also flexible
Superb!
This is a serious knife for serious cooks. I’m not a professional but I know how to use a knife in the kitchen. This beauty really does measure up in every way to my exacting standards. From slicing and dicing salad, veg & meat, it passed with flying colours. I’ve got a problem with my dominant hand that makes gripping objects difficult at times. However, this is perfect as it’s so sharp hardly any pressure is required.
Now, where am I honing to hide it so that my husband doesn’t use it to open letters and cardboard boxes?
Very sharp
Excellent knives. Very beautiful. Very sharpmy husband has managed to stab a finger with the point of one drawing blood and cut a different finger also drawing blood in the first few days of us using them! We are used to blunt knives as you might surmise! They really make easy work of cutting up all sorts of things like tomatoes, potatoes. and fingers
Very sharp knife
Usually I purchase Global Knives however wanted a more cheaper chef knife for everyday use. This knife is absolutely perfect. Very sharp (mind your fingers) easy to handle and comfortable. It’s actually quite light as well and I love using it. Highly recommend
filleting knife
Rated down a star as it arrived so blunt that it could not cut a rasher of bacon in two. Ive since spent a while using a whetstone starting at 300 as it was so dull edged and finished with working my way up to a 3000 finish and a leather strop to polish. Now it can shave my arm – I am not sure long it will hold an edge so I might return with an update if I remember.
Fantastic Quality
These knifes not only look amazing, but the performance is equally excellent, what a difference it makes to the preperation of food. Easy to clean, I carved a load of lamb last night, and it was like slicing a tomato with a razor blade.
I’d highly recommend these, however if your after a real chunky gauge knife, then maybe look elsewhere at the german steel available, but if your after a solidly built set of beautifully crafted knifes, then these are for you. Not too heavy, and not too light, these are goldilocks for me.
This paring knife feels very good in my hand, with a good amount of weight and good balance. Very sharp edge tested on very ripe tomatoes and nectarines. The wooden handle is absolutely beautiful to look at and it has a very nice texture so you have a very good grip on it and it won’t slip off when wet. If the steel is as hard as it claims, then with some basice maintenance, this knife should last me many years to come.
Great value
Taking into account the price and quality this is an excellent knife.
First impressions is that the blade is beautiful looking. The size of the knife balance is 8 inches and is razor sharp and cuts really well. It doesn’t seem flimsy or flex at all, giving you a lot of confidence when you need to go a lot of greens or meat quickly.
I like the included sheath which makes it safe to store if you don’t like to put all your knives in a knife block.
It’s an easy to use chef’s knife with a wide range of uses.
I haven’t had it for long and the blade hasn’t dulled yet. I’m super impressed so far.
Only used once, but pleased with the overall performance of the few knives that I have used during my first workout with them.
Well balanced, and lovely and sharp out of the box.
My only gripe is, that it’s not a real wood that has been used for the handles, even so has a good feel to the the handles.
Apart from that they are very good knives for the price that I payed, 149.99p.
Good quality
I was surprised at this knife its funny when you buy something like this for someone else and think to your am going to get one for my self the quality and sharpness is second to none can’t wait for it to arrive and super fast delivery
Lovely balanced and sharp knife. Grips well and well built. Overall a fantastic knife.
Don’t be fooled by the laser printed markings though. This is definately not Damascus steel. I knew this purchasing it but it is very misleading to someone who doesn’t know what they’re buying.
Good quality
The knife arrived quickly and is in a lovely presentation box. Bought as present so haven’t used but looks sharp. Has a comfortable handle and is a good weight. Arrived wrapped in a thin postage bag so box edges were slightly damaged which is annoying as a prese
I should start this review stating I am only a recreational chef and have no real experience in a Kitchen or with handling knifes. That said, I’ve made plenty of meals in my time.
This knife looks great, is presented well and it is sharp. In fact, it’s the sharpest knife I have ever used. It cuts through onion and chicken like butter. I would definitely recommend this knife.
A very sharp and balanced knife
Found the knife comfortable to hold and lived up to its very sharp description. It was also ‘heavy’ in the good way ie not cheaply made and looks to be very durable.
The greatest knife of them all !!
This knife is incredible, truly sharp and a smooth cut – truly chef-like which is great for the price !!
Versatile use, doesn’t feel heavy or hard to utilise, however the quality is immaculate and really supported my dishes as someone who’s into culinary and baking.
Furthermore, came very professionally packaged and sealed, ensuring safety and a great customer experience.
I’m not a chef. Not even close to being a chef. There’s an awful lot of microwaving in my life and what isn’t microwaved is either baked or stir-fried. As a result of this I chop a lot of vegetables and have been using the same knife since my student days in the last millennium. So I thought it was time to upgrade to something decent. And boy, is this knife decent.
Looks – It has that wavy Damascus pattern etched onto the blade. And a shapely wooden handle with a nice grain. What can I say? It’s a kitchen knife. I’m not sure why looks are important on a functional item, but the aesthetic is pleasing.
Feel – The weight is good and the handle feels comfortable in my hand.
Cutting – The important bit. I mean, if a knife can’t cut then what use is it? Well, this thing cuts. It’s as sharp as a razor. It effortlessly slices through fruit, vegetables, fish, poultry, meat, envelopes, cardboard boxes I may have gotten a little carried away testing how smoothly it cuts.
In conclusion, this was truly an excellent purchase. Do I feel like a chef now? No. No, of course not. It’s an exceptional kitchen knife, but it’s not magical. But I did cut the head off that carrot when I rolled a natural 20, so maybe it is a little vorpal. (And there’s a reference nobody will ever get )
