Hi, having an electric trolley for years, paying around the 200 mark at least 10 years ago, no one was more surprised than when I unpacked and assembled the Pro Rider, the instructions are well written and has a troubleshooting guide too, as if like me you are eager to setup then wonder why the motor is working but the trolley is stationary, it helped me to discover the wheels are marked with an L and R , correction made and boy oh boy is this a piece of equipment it goes like the wind LOL.
The framework folds down to a very neat and company size, plus it is easty to assemble, plus the deal came with a carry bag, there are several accessories.
The wheel construction is very good and has a good depth of tread to cope with the course fairways and paths.
I have bought as a long awaited present to myself after looking at motocaddy and powacaddy machines and just dreamt, decided to go for traditional lead acid battery, as there has been so many problems with lithium batteries when having taken a heavy impact can cause a fire, obviously my trolley will be in the carvboot for transportation and if I had a big impact on the road it could create a fire with lithium, but this is just my opinion and not a fact.
But please if you are wanting a great value product then I think you may be surprised by what you get, kept a keen eye for weeks on this item and it is cheaper than it was during Black Friday week.
I haven’t been on the course with it yet but having owned an electric trolley for years it is pretty easy to notice quality and strength of the motor, it will hopefully pull me up some hills

5.0 out of 5 stars OMG, I am thrilled with Pro Ride

Takes getting used to when assembling. Now ok. Also my bag with the built in stand doesn’t fit properly and bag keeps moving. Trolley kept pulling to the right but seems to behaving now. Overall, quite pleased with the experience.

Purchased trolley in Aug 2023. Easy to assemble and looks pretty well made. Had a problem with battery (it had leaked – presumably by not being stored or delivered flat) but this was painlessly replaced by the supplier without any fuss. Now used trolley twice and really pleased with performance.

Good value for money. Works well after several months. The only negative is that it is prone to toppling backward on even a very slight incline. A friend had a problem with the electronics after a heavy downpour. Besty to seal the edges on the display.

I’ve had one of these trolleys before so was delighted to find one again at half the price of newer models. Item arrived as described and even came 3 days before I expected. Put it together in less than 20 minutes. Very happy customer.

Once assembled it looks good and works well. Assembly not too difficult though instructions could be clearer and include the accessories (not all of which I’ve used). Ours is a reasonably flat parkland course and so stability problems on his haven’t been a problem. However, I wasn’t impressed with the battery which on unpacking had one terminal showing a little corrosion. I almost turned everything then but fortunately I had the lithium battery from my previous Powakaddy (this trolley died due to broken axle) and having found on E-bay a supplier of T-bar to Pro-rider connector I was all set. I just keep the supplied battery as a back-up. I think it looks good and at less than half the cost of a replacement Powakaddy it’s great value. I’ve held back on this review to allow multiple rounds in varying weather. In view of the value I’ve used my rating to 5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersBought this early in June and have played 4 rounds. Got to say that this is a great looking trolley and looks easily as good if not better than much more expensive trolleys . Folds away very easily and very easy to put up and load bag on. The battery is excellent and will do 2 rounds. Basically this is an excellent trolley and nobody should have any worries purchasing it. Only one slight problem as other reviewers have mentioned is that it has a tendency to fall backwards when going up steep hills. As long as you are aware it is just a case of supportIng it as you go up the hill.
02/07/20 Update…so after using the trolley for two weeks one of the pins in the wheel axel fell out when I was folding the trolley away. I did not realise until I got home and put the trolley in my garage. The small pins on the wheel axel are what hold the wheels on. I contacted Support and they sent me two spare pins which was great. The pin on the other wheel seems secure and the new one was much more secure when I popped it in. Still think it’s a great trolley for the price and the battery has done 36 holes with no problem.

The electric golf trolley arrived on the day advertised, after unpacking all parts it fitted together with ease, the battery was already fully changed and ready to use. First time out the weather was very wet and windy and it stood up to it all. I would have liked the umbrella holder
A little stronger but other then that it did the job well

Golden Review Award: 40 From Our UsersI have held back on reviewing this item until I gave it a good seasons work and I must say I have no complaints at all. I rate it very good value for money in comparison to the over priced brand leaders. It arrived well packed and assembled very easily. I noted complaints on review over L/R wheel when assembling which they have obviously sorted as my wheels were clearly marked with a sticker. Its got enough power and I find a nice brisk walk between shots at 6 – 7 and 8 for pulling you up a hill and 9 gives you arms a good pull The 10/20/30m range setting works although at 30m you have to ensure you have a clear run. It is slightly top heavy because of the battery but no worse than any of my friends some of which were double and treble the price. I also seen some adverse reviews on stopping in the rain, certainly not my experience and it has had a few soakings. I give this after a years use a big thumbs up.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have used this 3 times and it has done a good job so far. Only major negative is that it doesn’t work going up hills at all. Even on the highest setting it just stops and you have to push it like a normal trolley. Apart from that it has done the job I expected of it. It does pay to check that you have the wheels on the correct side (as stupid as that sounds) or the wheels wont turn. I thought I had broken it but it was a simple case of switching the wheels over. Overall I am happy with this so far and has worked as expected at half the price of the major trolleys.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe trolley arrived the day after the order. My previous trolley was a Pro Rider and although it was not bad, it had one fault, the right side wheel kept coming off. This seems to be a better design and I am very pleased. However if Rider have not solved the wheel problem, which I know from others has been a common fault, I shall be on the phone very quickly. Not sure you can fix the cup holder and the other extras on the cart at the same time. I am still to try it on the course and will update my review in a few months. John Andrew
