We have been using this egg boiler for a year and half. It has been reliable but today it suddenly stoped working. Is it possible to get it returned and fixed? And how would it cost us?

I have only ever used this for omelettes and poached eggs and so far so good! When doing the poached egg it is in a very large tray so don’t expect the perfect small typical poached egg. But either way it does the job I want and I am glad I purchased the product. Easy to clean and clicks off when it is finished.

Looks nice and operates with one button. You can choose the degree of hardness based on the amount of water. No fuss easy operation and only takes minutes to get perferctly-boiled egg of your choice. One drawback is that the plate tends to stain if not cleaned straightaway although it’s not a big issue if it does.

I have only used this so far for boiled eggs. I cook hard boiled eggs for my husband and I love soft boiled eggs. Both were cooked perfectly, I’m impressed. I will try the poached eggs next time although not too worried about those. It looks nice on the work top and I intend to take it away in our campervan, boiled eggs for breakfast done the easy way. There are a couple of small dents on the lid but I’m keeping it, it’s not worth sending it back for that.
I can fully recommend this egg boiler, no plastic, easy to clean, easy to use, perfect boiled eggs, that’s all I wanted.

The reason that I decided to buy this egg boiler steamer is it is made of stainless steel.It dose what it support to do and works well. The green colour is contemporary and decorative, really to my taste. It is heavier than the plastic one I had before, and this made cleaning a bit more difficult as you generally have to lift and hold the cooker base with one hand and try not let water wet the wire attached. Also there is no instruction came with it , I suppose it is assumed that every one should know what it is for and how to use it.

I love this egg boiler as I eat a lot of them. The only gripe I have is a personal one, how it turns itself off; it must do it by the top increasing in heat when the water dries out — where’s the failsafe? A timer would be better.

The boiled eggs were perfect, but I found the container for the poached eggs difficult to clean, even though I had oiled it first. The poached egg came out very hard, but I shall use less water next time, as one does with softer boiled eggs. Overall, it’s one of the best kitchen gadgets I’ve bought in a long time.

It’s very easy to boil eggs as required. Takes just 5 minutes, off late noticed a bit of water spilling over the edge while it’s switched on – but hasn’t affected the eggs. If the egg shells have dirt on them – can reach the boiling plate and get really roasted/ plastered. Very difficult to get off. But overall does what it says and am very happy.

The only difficulty I had was guessing how much water to use for just cooking 2 eggs and no markings on the pot. Took a couple of goes to get the perfect yolk . But 10 times better than the cheap plastic one I had , which literally melted.

I have been looking for a stainless steel egg boiler for a long time, reason being the base is Stainless Steel and not Aluminium, which scientist know is highly toxic to the human body, and every time you use an Aluminium egg boiler a residue comes off the base, just wipe it with a damp cloth after using and you will see for yourself, and nearly all egg boiler are made of this material as it cheep to produce and a good conductor of heat, and if we are all suppose to be going green, it’s also toxic to the environment too. Stainless steel is a much safer option and is re-usable. So be the judge yourself, I know I’m very please with the one I brought myself. Genuine Purchase.

I am yet to use the tray for the poached eggs but I have used this product to do boiled eggs in the morning and it has cooked them perfectly every time, whether I want runny, medium or hard boiled. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. It also comes with everything you need including the pin to pierce your eggs and the measuring cup. It’s so so easy to wash and its also a nice compact size to put away in your cupboard. Totally recommend.

If you are like me and have on numerous occasions ended up burning eggs on the hob, this product is for you. It can be used to boil up to 7 eggs and I love how it can be used for poached eggs as well and to make egg custard. It comes with a separate tray for poaching eggs plus the steaming rack for boiling eggs and a measuring cup for the water. Impressed! It is also easy to use and clean.
