Excellent for dark corners
We have a communal security gate with a keypad for entrance – virtually impossible to see at night – these work an absolute treat and make the area brighter and i feel a lot safer, without fumbling in the dark with my camera torch. Solar panel is working very well – easy to attach to a wooden fence with a simple screw (or with the stickers provided for metal)
Love these solar lights. They need very little sun to activate
I have had these lights for over 2 years and they are still going stron. So I have bought a couple more as they were on offer and now I can track wildlife walking through my garden. I have 1 by my front door which is handy
Really quite good
I’ve had 4 of these for just over a year now and they have been really good, in fact I’ve recently bought another 4.
Only thing I’d advise is angling any that might get activated a lot, ie I have one to light up a door but it’s close to the road and gets activated by passing cars so that light never lasts as long. I tweaked the angle and it fixed it.
I’ve only ever used mode 3 so can’t comment on the others, which is off until triggered then fully on.
Works occasionally
I titled this ‘Works Occasionally’ because it doesn’t always charge in the winter due to lack of sunlight. I’m yet to test how well it charges in the spring and summer. When charged, it light’s up my steps and my house number, outside my front door, although every car that drives up the street, also set’s it off, so the charge doesn’t last long.
Bought these for the passageway down the side of my house where we keep the wheelie bins. I was fed up of going out there at night and having to use my phone torch to see, so these work great to light up my way.
I fixed them evenly across the wall, and the light you get from them is fantastic for a solar powered device.
No longer will I be falling over things on the way to the bins!
Excellent produc
Easy to install on my shed just banged a small head nail in and the hole in the light fitted over it perfectly. Really good and stong motion detector I reckon from 20 feet away & its the brightest light any of these cheap solar lights has ever given out & ive bought several over the years none of which have lasted more than a year. These (I bought the 2 pack) have a 2 year guarantee in the small print, which I will take up if they don’t last the 2 years. So far so good only had them a few days I will report back if there are any problems but atm would recommend, also quick delivery & little note in the box from the manufacturer thanking me for my purchase. Nice touch.

Bought these for a little alleyway at the side of the house. 3 settings so chose the one where it comes on full and goes off again when you move away. Does what I need. I can see my way now, however it’s not a floodlight. You’d need a higher bulb level for that.
Very simple to install so I’m very pleased.
Good value for money and do what they need to do and having 3 different modes is helpful worth a buy for dark places and gardens
UPDATE unfortunately these have stopped working after 3 days little sad to say
These are great little lights that charge well even when cloudy so do not need direct sunlight. They are bright but don’t project so these look bright but need to be close to whatever you’re trying to illuminate. I use to light up path so are mounted 2 feet above and work well at this distance.
Brighter than expected
To light a dark secluded area in the garden. Wasn’t sure how much light it would absorb as it’s not in direct sunlight, but I was more than happy with the results. Easy to install too.
Garden motion lights
Small lights for area near side gate and bin enclosure. Very easy to fit and set up to only come on at night when movement detected. Provide good light coverage in dark places outside. Fitted to garden fence in minutes.
Good for rge mineyy
I hand off my bird table on a nail and a big plant pot to light up the patio at the bottom of the garden for small doggy level at night so the foxy doesn’t eat her!!

Nice size and not bulky,easy to fit n quite bright,,impressed with these for the price,,only gave a 2 star for motion mode as I haven’t used it yet but otherwise very good
Fantastic Lights
We wasn’t expecting too much got the money, however these have well & truly exceeded our expectations, super easy to fit & the bright light is amazing. We have used two of these down the side of our house, which is very dark at night – one on the fence opposite our side garage door where I keep my freezer & one a bit further along so it lights up my recycling bins and shines across the whole of my patio. Super impressed!
It's important to read the instructions! There's more than just on/off!!
You need to read the instructions. I almost sent these back because I erroneously thought they were too dim. There’s three modes so you’ve got to press the button to get the mode you want!
Came with easy to follow instructions. Easy to install. Wanted a light that was bright enough to see key hole when arriving home in the dark and this is perfect. There are 3 different modes to the motion detection, you can select which one suits your needs.

I wasn’t expecting the lighting to be as good on these but I can honestly say that these are brilliant. They give off great light and they lasted the whole night they were still on near into the morning time. I was that impressed I ordered another 2. Very good value for money.
Ridiculously good value
Buying the pair made the most sense financially, but actually, one would have done the job.
There’s 3 modes on these – and the third mode is motion detection, maximum brightness, and off after 20s of no movement detected.
I don’t know if others who say these aren’t that bright are using mode 1 (which is half brightness) because these things are ridiculously bright. Have both installed in an otherwise pitch-black-at-night bin store, and they work incredibly well. Installation is literally one screw (included, with rawl plugs) at the top and done; super lightweight and flush fitting, so not worried about them coming off.
Too early to tell how well they remain charged, or hold up to the elements (supposedly IP65 rated, which is very strong weather resistance) but so far, proving to be the best 15 I’ve spent in a while.
Bright and simple
Other reviews have been mixed, but this worked ok for me.
This charged up on a windowsill quickly before installation. The 3 modes are easy to cycle through, as I just wanted a light that would come on and briefly light up a dark path. The casing is a bit fragile and there is only one predrilled hole for attaching it to anything.
Overall, I’m happy.
A little light gives you peace of mind
I haven’t used the motion sensor. This item comes charged and this lasted 2 days on setting 2. As it is mid winter, it only gets enough charge for a few hours after dark but I’m sure it will last longer in the summer. I bought it for a particularly dark area around my property, and it makes me feel a little more secure even though I do have permanent wired motion sensor security lights.
So far very good
Having only received the item a few days ago, it is clearly impossible to comment upon its longevity – a suspect area with many online electrical purchases. However, the product is well made, operates as specified and, at the moment, I am extremely pleased with the purchase. I’ll give it a few weeks of use and then order more security lights from who I believe is a reliable and trustworthy marketplace trader.

Good bright lights
I have installed one in my garden and one by the front door. They are very bright. The only downside is that you do need to be quite close before they light up and they don’t stay on for very long. Only an issue for us as we don’t have any street lights.
First of all, quite surprised with the size and how bright the light was and how long it stayed on whilst you’re looking for your house keys. Secondly, very easy to install, I didn’t need to drill holes.
The motion sensor is quite responsive, able to detect motion as far as 2 metres.
The first light worked the first day but after that, it suddenly didnt work despite some sunshine hitting the solar panel for a good number rof hours. I have to install the 2nd one which is still working. Hope it’ll last.
Bought another one for my parent’s house.
