This is my second stove fan, first one lasted less than 3 days before making a rattling noise. Had this fan 3. Weeks + and fire on nearly every day, still going strong
My log burner used to warm the room directly in front of it very well but the heat struggled to fill the room. Add this little monster and you can blow heat into the room silently and efficiently. I’m tempted to get another as the difference is so remarkable.
This little fan threw hear around our entire lounge which has odd nooks and crannies that usually do not get any heat. We are very pleased with this purchase. The only thing I am not sure about is because the fan spins so fast you cannot see it moving unless you are a distance from it. I wonder what damage it would do to a persons fingers who went to pick it up by mistake. As we are all adults we know not to touch it but children and/or pets might be at risk!
This fan is so quiet, the first time I used it I didn’t even realise it was running!! Put it to the back of the log burner and it will do the rest. So impressed I have another one coming tomorrow!!
We’ve tried several fans of various sizes, buy this one seems to be up there with the best of them. It’s near completely silent, unlike other fans. You can feel the wind a good couple feet away from the fire and it has halved the time it takes our 5kw burner to heat our 7x5m living room.
Good buy, bargain!
I have the 6-bladed model which I have found excellent. It starts within a couple of minutes of the fire being lit & throws out a good heat. I only have one fan as yet but think the output of heat would be better with 2 fans. It is completely silent. I can hear the fire burning when the fire is really burning but nothing from the fan. Sitting on top of the stove, it is unobtrusive & does an excellent job.
I was surprised how small this was, I’ve only got a small burner but it’s disappeared, which is nice. Downside is the small amount of air being pushed out into the room. For price and size it’s just about OK
