So good I bought another one as a gif
My daughter brought this on holiday to keep grandchildren of 6 and 4 amused, which it certainly did, so I’ve bought another set as a 6th birthday present for another grandchild. For younger children it’s sensible to sift out a couple of the categories as they require more general knowledge and spelling than most children have before 7 or 8, but there’s a lot of play value that will keep this game fun to play with older brothers and sisters (and grannies!)
I expected to be mildly disappointed…
I thought this might be a glorified pen and pencil game of categories.
Far from it.
Played it with a group of five, ranging from 9 to 77 years old and it went down a treat with everybody. Easy to learn, quite fast action to play, and additional little facts and rules make it enjoyable yet challenging. Equally, it’s really no big deal who wins or loses.
