    Typical Smallrig quality - wonderful!
Makes carrying a full-frame DSLR with a heavy zoom lens so much easier and safer.
But the best thing is that I can hang the camera the right way up when using the tripod inverted.

    Lots of mounting points
Very high quality but not too heavy, and has loads of mounting points including multiple shoe mounts which is excellent. Went for this on an a7IV cage because the nato rail mount meant I could get it on the cage while also using an XLR-K3M with the extension cable

    Great Top Handle
This top handle with Nato clamp is so handy! I can easily slip it on and off my BMPCC 4K cage, so that my camera fits into my camera bag. It adds next to no weight at all.

    Great lightweight top grip
So versatile, lots of cold shoes and so light and beautifully made, smallrigs production and quality control must be good, never a blemish on any of their stuff, bought it when there was a discount on and not regreted

    Feels great, looks sick.
I purchased this along with the black mamba cage. I wasn’t really sold on the mamba handle. I think this is the best option available from Smallrig. Plenty of mounting points, very comfortable to hold, nice length, grip feels fantastic yes I’m talking about the handle.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOne of the best handles for a small rig camera
This handle from SmallRig pairs beautifully with their cages and it makes life so much easier for handling small cameras around.

Once attached to the cage, it isn’t going anywhere! It also adds 4 more cold-shoe mounts for additional equipment such as mics, monitors and other items and it has a rubberised grip which ensures it won’t slip your hands.

An absolute must have for a rig and incredible value for money at this price point.

    Light and sturdy
Wanted something that I can attach and detach quickly without any additional tools – it’s just that. It’s very light and sturdy and can be attached securely (has additional pins) very quickly.

Doesn’t work with 6K pro viewfinde
Great carrying handle put doesn’t work with the 6k pro viewfinder attached. It will attach but the viewfinder can’t be titled up without scratching and the handle gets in the way.

Well engineered - versatile holes and slots and nice quick release 👍
My knees are not what they used to be, but still want to get those low angle shots – this is where this comes in… it’s not about the camera, it’s all about the shot angle.

This well suited on little RX100 as well as my full frame A7 cameras – it just makes handling them a lot easier – either to get a lower angle, keep a steady hand, or just use as a carry handle. Especially when I am using a A7iii with a full loaded battery grip and a 600mm lens and trying to mount that on a near eye level mount.

At 29.90 (at the time of review), is seems just about right, but personally would like to see the actual small NATO rail included in the price as well – even if it was just a few quid more, instead of having to go a buy it separately !

    Nice build and desig
This is very nicely designed and the build is excellent. It looks suitably professional in use. Function is excellent. The only issue I have is I ordered the wrong one, so I can’t make it fit. Please check when you order yourself, tho you can always exchange with Amazon. I would recommend the device. Price wise these kinds of add on items are usually a bit pricey. Photography just is an expensive hobby when you go a step or two over the cheap and cheerful. At around 30 I’d say this should last a lifetime and add to your photography. On that basis I’d consider this a good buy.
