This educational toy is more than a flashcard spelling teaching kit. This is voice interactive voice and has some built-in songs. It checks the spelling making it independent play. It would suit pre-schoolers to learn to spell, help them recognise letters and learn names. Overall, it is a brilliant educational toy.

This toy is great for nursery children to explain how spelling works and for practising before school.

It is easy to use, durable and sturdy and I gladly recommend it to you.

I am very happy with this product and think this will make a great gift for parents with toddlers and preschoolers.

Arrived well packaged no problems there.
Great product, item as described,Good quality and well made, works well however when teaching a child to spell you teach the pure sounds and this says the actual sound so can be a little confusing, but still a good product. all thank you.

My two year old loves this! It keeps my little one entertained for 30 minutes to an hour if I engage in the play with her.
It’s a fab learning tools that combines education and fun. The design is ideal for kids. It looks very cute, it’s small and light, easy to hold and carry around. Sound is very clear and loud as well. I highly recommend it!

This is the next step up from the usual card readers! Besides the normal flash cards of various themes, this also has smaller flash cards with the alphabet letters, so your little one can practice spelling the word on the main card. The letters are upper case and lower case, which I found is a bonus in helping my little one recognizing them. Lots of fun to be had with this toy and quite importantly, lots of learning and bonding too. Would definitely recommend!

I had originally got this for my 3 year old to help with her phonics and learning journey and although it is slightly too advanced for her development right now, I will be holding onto it for when she starts school as it will be an ideal tool.

The alphabet device is very colourful and inviting for young learners.

In the set you get several word packs, a charging cable and a drawstring storage bag.

It came pre-charged which is perfect for those not so patient children (like mine) that are not willing to wait!

The reading device has a sliding on / off switch, a sound adjusting button and a replay button.

This item seems more suited to children that have already began to spell simple words as it does not read out the letters using phonics.

The item makes learning fun and will definitely aid children on their learning journey, beep beep!

I really like this toy and my daughter loves it too. It definitely needs parental guidance for kids who are only just learning how to spell, however apart from that it’s great fun. I spread the letters out on the floor and let my daughter hunt for the correct letters. She inputs it into the reader and we find out if the spelling is correct or not. I think it’s good value for money and would make an ideal Xmas gift. Will keep kids busy for a good while.

This is an excellent tool for any child who is beginning to learn how to spell and read. There are simple, three letter words and accompanying pictures, which makes it easier to make connections with letter sounds and words.

I like that this is an activity that can be done between parent and child – the interactive element is great. There is also of course the option for the children to use it independently, as the operation is simple.

The item itself has nice smooth edges; it’s cute and colourful, without being overstimulating.

The fact that this is useful for children who are autistic, or who display symptoms of autism, is excellent and very much welcomed.

Overall this is a lovely, educational toy that is perfect for early years development, setting children on their reading and spelling journey.

I have two little boys and we love playing the flash card game together – it is a great way of getting them to learn their words and identifying and recognising certain items such as animals, food, shapes, etc. But this is one step above from that in that the flash card side of the game works the same way but it has also incorporated a doodle/writing board into it. So now not only can they recognise the words but they can then also draw a corresponding picture or attempt to write the word. This has now helped them with their phonics and learning to form cursive letters. Great idea.

Comes with two boxes of word cards and one with letters, there are six songs to play as well. 4
year old found it easy to use.

Only critics is pity songs were not all kids songs. There’s jingle bells happy birthday and happy new year would have preferred not to have those but we have all different tastes. Also sounding of letters are different from what we are teaching our 4 year old. But saying that it will help her difficul

So far I have only ever seen the simple versions of these card readers which just sound out the words on single cards. This one is actually interactive and makes a game out of spelling. Although it is meant for children 3 years and up, as long as a child is dextrous enough or a parent inserts the cards after a child chooses the letters, this can be given to younger ones.

There are a multitude of themes ranging from ‘daily necessities’ (being the largest group) to body parts, food and adjectives among others. The letters are in two colours: green for normal letters and pink for vowels, thus distinguishing them and there are two full sets of letters.

When each card is placed in a slot, the item and letters are sounded out. When successful, the voice states as much, thus encouraging further interaction.

The only downside to this and any other type of card reader is that there are no extra cards one can buy separately. It seems an opportunity is being missed there.
